Rorret nodded, pleased with this plan. It seemed solid. Moreover, it seemed like actual progress -- which was more than could be said for anything that had happened in recent memory, anyway.
His eyes flicked back to Dios and he caught the expression in his eyes. He was grateful that the blue-gray wolf, like himself, could see The Bigger Picture. Of course, the same thought had crossed his mind -- that, if the Brothers genuinely believed in the curse, it may cause difficulties with succession...but if Danel appointed his successor, it shouldn't be a problem. That was his hope, anyway. Then again, having met Fallyn....well, that was a problem better dealt with at a later time.
He returned his attention fully to Xihuitl. "He was last seen about a day's lope south-east of here. There is a river that cuts through three territories; he was on the northern bank of this river, in the valley of the mountain range."
He hesitated a moment. This was dangerous -- these directions would also lead Xihuitl dangerously close to Antianeira, and he wasn't sure he was ready for that pack to be discovered just yet. Still, hopefully he would stop short of there and pick up the trail without ever colliding with Azalea -- YMCA was still half a day's travel from their border, and that was where he was sending Xihuitl.
Rorret, of course, was unaware of the alliance between these two packs.

Xihuitl nodded, taking in the directions carefully. It would take him about a day and a half to get there if he just walked it. The male didn't want to waste all his energy at a fast pace if by chance he ran into trouble.
"Very well i shall leave at day break." Glancing to Dio he nodded, "Take care of them, we do not want anymore breakage in the pack." Xihuitl said and then saw a small bit of worry on Rorret's face and decided he had best ask him what was happening before he left.

“You may rest assured that I will,” Arkadios assured his brother, already planning exactly who to approach and what to say. Where to whisper and who to encourage. All of this, of course, in addition to the general maintenance of the pack. Indeed, Dios would be very busy in the coming days.
“Bring Danel back to us soon,” he added. Was there anything else that they needed to discuss? He did not think so. Not yet, anyway. Well, perhaps he and Rorret could discuss strategies, but even that could probably wait, if it was even necessary.

He nodded, satisfied. "Well enough," he said, and avoided Xihuitl's attempt to catch his eye. He could see a question brewing in the older wolf's gaze and he had no desire to answer it if he could avoid it. He didn't want to disclose his knowledge of the amazon pack...but he also didn't want to lie outright, if he could avoid it. Given the option, however, he would certainly rather lie.
"Good luck, Brother. And thank you both, for your time. I should be back to tending the pups."
Tending -- hah. Indoctrinating, more like.
He turned to pad away.
