Herryk figured that the Florestival was the best way to make friends at Amityville before officially enrolling. He hadn't been expecting so many boils and ghouls hanging around, quite honestly, and he certainly hadn't been expecting to see the be-tentacled dolls and hats that decorated one booth in particular. Approaching the booth he perused the items that were laying about on display. Raising one large hand he delicately fingered the bill of a ball cap that had several tentacles attached to it. Of course, 'delicately' meant that the cap was now looking worse for wear and Herryk glanced sheepishly at the others that gathered around the booth. One thing was certain. He really, really liked the ball cap.

Noticing the large crowd that had formed, Xiu sneaked a little closer to the booth to see what was up. Ah, Riley's campaign booth! It was nice seeing that everything was going so well! Everything looked wonderful, from the booth to all the free items that the mindflayer was giving out, including the spookies that she and Lizzy had put togethe--
--Waaait a minute, why were there so many empty bags? The Baku frowned for a moment before it dawned on her, and she recalled prom. The mindflayer definitely seemed fond of sugar, and the spookies were full of it, so...
Stifling a giggle, she moved up closer, tail wagging a little as she saw the hats. "R-riley...c-could I have one of those little hats? Or...or a plushie?" Despite the fact she knew the items were free for the campaign, Xiu still seemed a little timid when she asked. Lowering her voice, she leaned in closer to whisper, "A-and...if you need more spookies, I'm sure Lizzy and I can make more."
A pointed, and vaguely amused, look at the empty bags.
"Glad to see it's going well though! A-and hello Junko!" The Baku beamed at the other ghoul, raising her hand to give her a shy little wave.

"Junko! Look, I picked one up too." Siddie held the plushie up. "Who knew Riley could be so cute?" ... Er. She shot a sideways glance at the mindflayer, hoping that she hadn't inadvertently offended her.
When a ghoul she didn't know came up to ask about the spookies, in a barely audible voice, Siddie looked curiously at her. "Oh - are you Xiu?" she asked. "If you're baking, I could help. If you don't mind. "

“The pleasure is all mine, Riley.” Hel replied, “It is an honor to meet you, I am Hel.” She then took Riley’s hand and gave it a firm shake before releasing. “If I am to be accepted and enrolled in time for elections, you will most certainly have my vote.” The reaper didn’t seem put off by the fact that Riley didn’t have a mouth and that the voice seemed to be in her mind. She was still too taken with the display and prowess that Riley was showing.
The reaper took a moment them, to look at the new comers who all seemed to know this candidate for president. Oh, it was the dragon boy from the flipped table picnic area! Her lips twitched with amusement as he put on a hat, and her dual toned eyes scanned the others. A ghoul with wavy black hair, and then that timid looking ghoul again! Very interesting indeed.
The ghoul looked back towards the merchandise. Even if she wasn’t a student here, she’d definitely show her support. Hel reached out for a t-shirt that said “Brains” along with another pin.

Junko looked away from Riley when she heard Jericho asking how he looked, nearly choking on a piece of her spookie in her effort to hold in a laugh. Haha! He looked so silly! A section of her hair balled like a fist and pat against her chest as she coughed, a hand over her mouth. It was a laughing cough, but she was trying! She wasn't as good at hiding things like that as Riley. "H-Hi, Riley." Junko giggled, wiping at her mouth with her thumb and rubbing her lips together, her eyes still literally glowing with amusement. It was something she was still getting used to. "I trust your judgement~! I imagine trying to get into your head would make mine explode. Fwoosh~." Her hair expanded as if elaborating on her little theory before settling down again to writhe and twist naturally. Faithful friends were always a good thing to have. She took the little button off her spookie's bag and pinned it to the collar of her kimono. There! She didn't even have to ask, Riley would always have her vote.
"Oh yes! It's delicious! And so adorable! I'm impressed, it seems Lizzy learned a bit when I roped her into helping prepare the food for prom." Junko was grinning with pride at that thought. Yay Lizzy! And here the ghoul had said she couldn't cook or bake! "You've been eating them though, I can see that. You'll be careful this time, right?" She asked with a raised brow, looking to Xiu when she heard her name. The ghoul brightened once again.
"Xiu! Hello! It's so wonderful to see you~! These spookies are delicious!" She stepped up to the ghoul to give her a hug, squealing with delight as she did. Her head was resting on Xiu's as she peeked over to see what Siddie was calling her for, eyes widening again as she released the ghoul to hurry over to Siddie and the plushie.
So.
CUTE!
"Eeeeeeee! I want one I want ooooone~! They're so adorable! Their clothes are so plain though." She pouted in Riley's direction. "I'm disappointed~." Junko was only teasing. Doll clothes didn't have to be complex...unless you were Junko and able to make clothes. She'd be making a kimono for one of these by the end of the week. And it would be the cutest plushie ever.
Maybe she'd even give it a small little bag for miniature spookies.
She felt eyes on her and looked around, not that being stared at wasn't something she wasn't used to but she liked to know who it was, you know? That was when she saw the unfamiliar ghoul, blinking and tilting her head to one side. Some of her hair raised, twisting itself into shapes vaguely similar to question marks. Ohhhh? Who was this? Her hair was so cute! And her skin! It was so even with its split! How interesting! "Hello there~! I'm Junko!" She just had to meed the ghoul with the two-toned hair. It looked so soft!

Christof practically purred at the feeling of the affectionate mental nudge, crawling out from behind the table and reaching to timidly make sure his hair was still tamed as Calder had left it, but quickly tucked the cannon-cat Screamie Baby back into the box of them under the black cloth. Mistress... the ah.... 'special' cats are ready whenever you need them... As she was busy entertaining, he gingerly reached for one of the Riley-shaped plushies... (had Miss Lizzy made these?) with a mysterious appendage that unfolded out from under his jacket, tucking it into his proper hands. He gave the doll an affectionate look before tucking it away in the deep recesses of his vest, glancing around anxiously to make sure no one had spotted him.

Still clutching the hat Herryk's attention moved to the spookies that everyone was going wild over. He would have to test this for himself, yes. He didn't have much of a sweet-tooth, but he couldn't resist. Tucking the now-mangled hat under his arm, Herryk reached for a bag of spookies.
As carefully as he could he opened the bag, reaching in to pick out one spookie, the small confection held delicately between forefinger and thumb. He smelled it first -- yes, it smelled delicious -- before shoving the entire thing into his mouth.
"Mmm!" Maybe nobody would notice if he snagged a second bag.

Hel, I am happy to hear it. She responded quickly, looking a little distracted as the booth populated. Please, enjoy yourself at the festival.
A wall of a boil was suddenly standing in front of the booth, accidentally crushing the tentacles of a ball cap with his finger as he clutched it. The collateral damage he caused was nothing to Riley, compared to the fact that the boil looked like he could take on the world. She tugged on one of Jericho's new tentacles - which was amusing enough in it's own right - to get his attention, before plucking the ball cap out of his hands and reaching up to secure it on Herryk's head. Once she'd done so, she put her hands on her hips and eyed him, clearly impressed.
You. She commanded. You're joining my Fitness Club. I mean Jack - She turned to Jericho, and nudged her thumb at the steel pecs. He looks like he could take me.
Xiu's arrival had her reaching out and giving the ghoul a one handed hug, while one of her tentacles found the hat she was interested in. Xiu, you and Lizzy can have anything you want, all you want. She attached the hat carefully, and adjusted it to the side. And I would looove more cookies. Junko seems to think I have eaten them, and she has no basis for this claim. None. They were empty when I found them.
She distinctly ignored the chill of disgust at being called cute - not a soul would be able to tell how she inwardly cringed. Damn those plushies. Damn them.
Thank you Christof, I will let you know when it is time. She murmured in reply to the igor. It's going well, don't you think?

Grinning to Riley, the dragon couldn't help but chuckle at her response. He then turned his attention to some of the newer faces at the booth (though he made sure to wave to Junko, Christof, ad Xiu while they were here) and his gaze fell onto the big ghost in particular.
"Damn yeah. I think I might have some competition in the strength field," he blinked while staring at Herryk's large muscles.
"What's your name, big guy?" he asked the ghost.
Jericho also kept in mind, Hel's name in the future. It didn't look like she was enrolled at the school but that didn't mean things would remain that way.

"Thank you, Riley." The reaper replied happily. Hel slung the t-shirt over her shoulder, and was reaching for a pin when she watched one of the Riley plushes get snatched off of the table by a mysterious appendage. It was like one of those comedy movies where someone was trying to be sneaky when they thought the coast was clear, but there was someone watching them the entire time. The reaper blinked as Christof then looked around anxiously, as if he didn’t want to be caught, and gave him a small smile as she picked up one of the pins.
Her attention was soon diverted to the ghoul she had looked over before with the very expressive hair. A wide grin broke out on her face upon being greeted, and then given a name. The reaper held out a hand to Junko. “Hello, Junko. It’s very nice to meet you, I am Hel.” She looked over the other ghoul again, closer this time, watching as her hair writhed and moved and even emoted on its own. She was very pleased that another being had taken the time to greet her and introduce themselves first.

Clutching four bags of spookies to his chest, Herryk turned and peered at the purple beauty that stood before him. He gaped at her for a long moment after she placed the be-tentacled ballcap on his head. There wasn't much that he could do with his fists full of spookies (they were addicting!) but when he caught mention of the words fitness club Herryk beamed at the commanding tone.
Yes.
"Yes, Herryk will join the Fitness Club. There is wrestling? Bruteball, hmm?" He beamed at her, teeth a shocking white against the darkness of his skin.
Jackdamn it, he would need all the exercise he could get after eating all these spookies.

"You should make something for it," Siddie said to Junko, the corners of her mouth turning up in an almost- smirk.
... My, that boil was big. And muscley. And semi-clothed. Annnd he was going to be joining Fitness Club. ... Ghoulfriend, Siddie reminded herself firmly. Don't be a pervert.

She squeaked in surprise when she was pulled into the hug by the futakuchi-onna, but Xiu definitely wasn't upset. In fact, after getting over her surprise, she grinned and blushed lightly at the compliment. "T-thank you, Junko! I did the baking, Lizzy make the bags, and we iced them together." She was actually initially a little self conscious about how they looked and tasted, but it seemed that the others liked them! She definitely loved the beautiful packaging her friend had made for the spookies.
Her tail gave a pleased little wag when the mindflayer gently topped her head off with the requested hat. She nodded enthusiastically, though was careful not to knock down her new accessory. "W-we'll make more, then!" She promised, before hiding a smile behind her hand at Riley's claim, "...Hopefully there won't be too many empty bags with the next batch."
Her attention was drawn elsewhere when a ghoul she didn't know, Siddie, addressed her. Eyes widening, she regarded her shyly, "Y-yes, I'm Xiu. And...and you are...?" She smiled nervously and held out a hand for a shake. The ghoul's offer surprised her, but her smile relaxed slightly. "U-um, if you'd like to help, that would be wonderful? It's a lot of work for just two people, but it's a fun job too."

I made you more buttons. Also these people smell like garbage. Also your booth looks like your fourth birthday party.
Though there is less blood.
I strongly disapprove.
Andeon seemed in a particularly cheerful mood as he strode up to the booth, a scroll of parchment curled in one hand, tapped against the open palm of the other in a rhythm to match his stride. At his feet, his own little Cthulhu was wrapped tightly around his ankle, staring up at him with big, round eyes set in an expression that could only be described as: o 3o. Idgit, as he had taken to calling the little monstrosity, hopped happily off of his leg as her master stopped in front of Riley's booth. She wasted no time in finding the other mindflayer's tentacles, and proceeded to climb them in an attempt to reach Riley's head.
If successful, she planted a small flag there, as though claiming that tentacled mountain for herself. The flag just so happened to be purple.
It said: Vote For Riley, Because The Rest Of You Suck.
Your dragon seems to be eyeballing that wall of flesh. You might want to keep an eye on him. I don't think they'd make a particularly attractive pumpkin.

Yes, Mistress, very well! Soon everyone will be wearing your colors, pledging their allegiance... allegiance to... The thought was cut off as the brute of a ghost loomed in ways the Igor could only dream of, blocking out the orange jack-o-lantern sun like an eclipsing moon, his dreamy expression soon turning to one of sudden terror. "Hnnnn...?" He managed, muffled voice cracking pubescently as he took a meek step back. Fear Alive.... who was this Ox? He was just getting used to his own upgrades, but this... this... monolith made him look like a toad to be crushed underfoot!
Before he knew what he was doing, Christof found himself huddling behind Jericho, twisting his tie between mismatched hands.
And then there were tentacles... non-Mistress Tentacles. His hand shot up to grip Jericho's arm pointedly, eyes locked on Riley's eternal (it would seem) attacker, whispering a more urgent, "Hrmm!"
