Odi had to admit, his story was far fetch but it did happen. As he watched the boys dissect the story he had to hold back an amused smile. They were smart and quick, he liked that. "Yes, since the day I was born in Kana my luck has been horrid." A casual shrug from his tattoed arm followed as he thought over his life. Violence, bloodlust, and evil things hidden in the water.
"But, I could care less about the past right now." Odi felt almost as if he wasn't wanted and worst something seemed off about Toxic. He could tell from the look Ara casted at her daughter but he didn't resistace her when she nuzzled against him. "It doesn't matter if their cruel or not. I deserve it."
His demeanor shifted over to the more warrior Odi, the one that had been been raised to kill and even win the trust of a murder blood coated fox. "I wasn't their for you growing. I wasn't their for Ara when she needed me. I failed you, all of you as a father and as a mate. I don't expect any of you to just let me walk in as your father, but I'm willing to try and earn each of your respect if you give me the chance. And...to make up for being a failure of a mate." His eyes drifited over each of them before resting on Ara, for a moment he let his pain show in his eyes before disappering.
"No I'm fine."

Ara smiled gently. "You didn't fail, love," she said. "You came back. A little later than all of us would have liked, but you still came back." She gave her mate a reassuring nuzzle.
Perhaps if he had quit looking, had thoroughly given up on ever seeing Ara again, she would have been mad at Odi. But how could she, when she hadn't tried to find him herself. Oh she had a million excuses, several of which were quite valid, but it still didn't change the fact that they were excuses.

"This is all starting to feel too much like a drama story to me. The prodigal father returns from the lost and sets about reearning the love and respect of his family?" "Hey, I get it. It's a little much for me even."
Both boys looked at each other and shrugged.
"Guess it's only fair to give him a chance though." "If only to show the old man just who he's dealing with." "Sounds about right."
Toreth and Kaleth turned to look at Toxic. To be honest neither brother really knew where their sister stood. Usually she seemed to go with her moods, which apparently flipflopped on a daily basis depending on what she felt like. She might accept their dad in the end, but at this point it was impossible to tell if she'd do it grudgingly, or give in with good grace.

Her smile deepened, however her inner voice was spitting and hissing, unhappy. She smiled at Odi, tail flicking to the side as her eyes showed a happiness she did not harbor. "See, one big happy family." She turned to her brothers, and winked. Right when both parents were not looking she winked, a cruel smile on her lips before she flashed it to sweet before either Ara or Odi could catch it.
Flopping her tail around her body, Toxic looked at her... "Daddy." "So daddy, what our are siblings like? Are they happy? What do they look like?" If anything, she wanted to see if one of the siblings would be worth befriending, worth treating like a sibling.

Odi had to admit that he never expected this kind of welcoming. The secenrios he often ran in his head either ended up with him possibly killing another fox or having his heart shattered. Instead he was welcomed back by his mate and even given a chance to know his kids who he never meet in their childhood. It was almost surreal but Ara nuzzling him reminded him it wasn't a dream.
"I'm pretty sure I can handle almost everything you throw at me." He said to his boys before turning his head to look at Toxic. It was strange to be called "Daddy", especially since his oldest daughter barely calld him dad.
"Oh yes your siblings. They take after your mother almost entirely. The baby boy is patterened just like your mother exactly. Also you have two twin sisters. The oldest has my yellow tipped ears and the other one doesn't." Odi knew that his children probably doubted him at times why he looked diffrent. His only saving grace they didn't think of him as not being their blood father was the oldest twins ears.
"Although they do have an issue..." with that Odi casted a look at Ara indicating that one or more of the children either has or showed signs of his bloodlust trait.

Ara sighed softly. Of course she knew about her mate's temper and the issues he had. Bloodlust was a real thing for any predator. Fighters suffered worse and so did those who had traumatic pasts, especially the violent kind. Odi was both. She'd have been surprised if he hadn't shown signs of aggression. Thus far they'd found she was one of the few able to calm him down in such a state, and since they'd be separated....
"Why don't we go find the other children and meet them," Ara suggested. "Not right now though. It's late, and I'm sure we're all at least a little tired. Tomorrow, after we wake up." She looked around at her kids and mate to see what they thought.
((I'm thinking time skip, after both of you post, to tomorrow morning. Odi can either stay the night with this group or go back to the other three, whichever works. After you both post I'll post the opening for the next morning. I figure Odi's got the kids and is coming back with them, and Ara and the other three are sitting in the little clearing and waiting for him to return as an opening. Sound alright?))

Toreth shrugged. "Fine by us," he said, looking at Kaleth.
"Yea, we were planning on kipping it with you anyway Mom," Kaleth chimed it.
Both boys would prefer a morning meeting. For one thing the sun would be up, and the meeting would be odd enough without having to peer through shadows. Which was all the better, if their dad was saying some of their sibs had issues. Not that that was a new thing...
Each boy glanced at Toxic, and hid a small grin, nudging each other and trying not to titter like gossiping school girls.
((Oh, and gotta correct something, Ebil. Gemelle isn't the oldest twin, Astrea is lol.))

"There we go." She cooed at her brothers, looking at Odi and smirking at him. She didn't mind her brothers reaction, even if it was directed at her or her father, she didn't care. No, what she cared about was her damn mother showing some spine! Fight back! Sure, if she did Odi.... Might not let her see her kids. Toxic had figured this out, however, what right did he have sheltering his children from their own mother? She should spit at Odi, tell him the second he just left her without saying anything she was done with him, and to give her back her damn kids!
Toxic's way of thinking was different than most. She hated the idea of commitment. It meant giving your own time up and hoping the other would respond. Maybe she came out this way because she watched her father's disappearance on her mothers face? Love wasn't worth it, because then you were stuck with three children that needed your attention and you had to give up everything to take care of them because no one else will help you.

"Alright, I'll see you all in the morning. The kids will be happy to finally meet their mother." He smiled before nuzzing his mate again and turning to leave. He paused a moment to take in his other children once again. Odi felt whole again after so long. As he walked away the image of his family floated in his head.

((XD Toxic, be glad Ara didn't hear your thoughts. You'd find out just how much spine your momma has! And with that...))- TIME SKIP - The sun had risen scarely an hour ago. Mist still drifted between the trees, hovering just over the surface of the grass. The forest wasn't quiet by any means though, filled with the din of birds awaken and piping their morning greetings to the day.
Ara fidgeted a little as she sat in place, waiting. Truth be told she hadn't gotten much sleep last night. Her mind was too busy reeling over all that had just happened in less than 24 hours, and how more was still to come. She was totally nerve-wracked and fighting the urge to pace.
Odi. With each passing day she'd lost a little more hope of ever seeing him again. It was to the point where she'd almost thought him gone forever when he showed up again. Part of her wondered how that separation would affect their relationship, now that they were together again.
Her children. The oldest of the bunch. They would all be adults now, with personalities and lives of their own. She, their mother, was essentially a stranger. No matter how well this meeting went, Ara doubted they'd accept her as a mother figure just yet. They'd no more listen to an order from her than her three would from Odi. No, all of this would take time. She would have to talk to them, learn about them, become their friends.
It was bittersweet, the realization that she'd have to earn something that would have been given to her if she'd only been there when they were babies. But Ara was tough with an unwavering resolve. She couldn't make up for the time that was gone, but she could cultivate and nurture the years that were coming.

((So Yush should post next, then Ebil. Then Nasai and Crimson can jump in :3))
Toreth and Kaleth were both awake but, curled up side by side, they pretended to be sleeping. For one thing their mom was exuding enough nervousness and tension all three of them, and for another they wanted to see how the rest of the family reacted...
They'd discovered that one of the best way to discover the intentions of a fox, and thus a major hint at their personality, was to appear vulnerable and see how the other reaction. Sleeping targets were certainly vulnerable. Neither boy thought they'd get attacked, though if that turned out to be the case they were certainly ready. This wasn't the first time they'd done such a thing.
Neither had their eyes cracked, since both colors stood out against the fur of their face, but their hearing was just as sharp as always.

Toxic had slept nearby. Hell, even she was curious about her siblings. She arrived at the camp site of her mother and brothers. She spotted Ara, sitting still and waiting, and clicked her tongue at her. "Mother." She mused, deciding for once to sit beside her mother, quiet as well. That is, until she thought. Now she could ask Ara something, eyes looking at the women that had raised her, even if Toxic was difficult.
"Are you forgiving him?" She asked, voice low and testy. "Are we all supposed to be one big happy family now?" She questioned, ear flicking. She'd continue making Odi think she loved him, but the second she was alone with him....
This family could not happen. Yes, she was known for being very anti-social when it came to her family. Usually, she didn't want to even admit who her mother was. However, if she truly felt that why did she want to reject Odi? She liked her family the way it was. It wasn't attachment, it was more like it was normal to her. If Odi returned, her mother would be viewed to her as weak. Weak for accepting Odi. Then again, lately she was seemingly weak to herself. Toxic was acting strange when around Atiya. Maybe she could learn to respect her mother for her choices?

Odi had only got two hours of sleep the whole night since he made it to camp. He had to fight waking up his children to bring them to their family. Now that the sun was up he made quick work in waking them up. He did however spend time picking over them so they looked their best. Much to Gemelle dislike. Now that he was happy with how they looked he explained quickly about his meeting with their family the night before and that they were going to go meet them. Odi was actting unlike he normally did and was acting like a worried fox maid taking care of her kits. With his family following behind him he was anxious to see this meeting go smoothly. He knew his kits grew up a little rougher but the were still positive, right? Finally making it to the clearing he smiled nervously at his mate, a side he never showed to any but Ara. "This is your mother and siblings." His voice was even nervoused as he watched his youngest twin walk forward first. Gemelle wasn't in the best mood being both woken up and then forcefully groomed by her father. Even as a kit she was never forced to endure something so degrading. Following behind her dad she had to admit she was curious to meet her new family. When her father stopped to announce the arrivals she kept walking before stoping a few inches from Ara her eyes scanning her all over in judgement.
Finally with out saying a word Gem gave a silent shrug and ran against her mother side in a loving motion before nuzzling her warmly. All the stories her dad told her she virtually knew her mother. She finished off by standing against her mother caringless how she reacted.
However she did turn her attenction to the two males that were sleeping nearby. A scowl went on her face as she stalked over to the two with her eyes narrow. If she was forced to be awake she wasn't going to let her new brothers get away with it. She looked the two over wanting to pick her victim, Toreth. Toreth looked the strongest, as she lifted her paw up over his tail she paused she looked back at her father who had a glare that always made her stop cold. With a sigh she turned and walked away stoping only to look Toxic over.

Astrea let out a slight click of her tongue but didn’t say anything outloud. She was under the impression if they didn’t take to her when she was just looking normal then they weren’t worth getting to know. Personally she was nervous about the whole thing and had half a mind to just leave. She was an adult and her mother hadn’t tried to even find them. Sure she had other children to look for but their father still found the time to try and find her mother and her younger siblings while raising them.
It would be rather easy she had disappeared last night to go and have a slight walk to clear her mind. It was another fox that had persuaded her to come back and at least have this one meeting. Of course sooner than she would have wanted they arrived at the others camp. Astrea went calm and silent, not that she didn’t appear that way earlier and looked over the group.
When Gem ran over to stomp on one of her brother’s tails she frowned. “Why are you faking sleep? Did father lie and you don’t actually want to meet us” she spoke up. Shouldnt they be nervous about this whole thing as well. Sure she didnt know them enough to say they where actually feigning sleep but if they were well then she had no problems being rude as well. Her voice fell silent again and she backed up to be the farthest away waiting for the next action.

Of all the possible scenarios for meeting his mother, Ransom would never have predicted this one. He'd decided to stay with his family that night, seeing how his old man was awake for most of it. 'Course he did feel like high-tailing it the minuite he was groomed like a kit and the words 'family' and 'mother' were mentioned. Walking there had been the longest journey of his life. Dragging his paws at the back of the group, Ransom had still been in shock. His body hadn't felt his own. All these years he'd just figured that his mother had no intrest in him. Wouldn't she have tried to find them? There were so many questions swimming around his noggin, he didn't know how to act when he saw his other family. When he saw them, he froze. His mind was screaming at his body to do something, but it wouldn't. Ransom was nothing if not stubborn. That female, there was no mistaking who she was. Ransom looked almost identical to her. But there was also he other children. He couldn't help but feel a little...jealous. Ransom tried to focus on other things, at least for the time being. There were a million things to say. He should probably say some sort of friendly greeting. 'I've missed you', 'I'm so glad to meet you at last' or at least a simple 'hello'. But what came out was a snarky 'Finally took an intrest in us, huh? 'Bout time'
