Shun let his hands drop to his sides pretty quickly. Mitsu was making it increasingly difficult to explain anything and the longer this went on the more awkward it was becoming too. Letting out a sigh, he got up and brought his laptop over to where the girl was sitting.
"Ok... time to use the interwebs," he mumbled while slowly and carefully typing into the url bar. He had a slight feeling that his friend wouldn't be willing to look this up herself so he was actually going through the work to typing personally.
The place he went to? Skitterpedia. The article on sex. There were some diagrams and illustrations on the side, along with the textwall.
"Read this."

Shun didn't say anything instead he got up and grabbed his laptop. At first Mitsu began to panic, she didn't want to see anything on gruegle. "Y..you're not...I don't want to look at Gruegle." It was a scary place. A scary scary place.
Thankfully though that wasn't what Shun pulled up. Mitsu almost jerked for a moment as he turned the laptop around expecting the worst, like an image was going to jump off the screen and attack her. Instead there were some simple diagrams and stuff to read. Oh thank Jack. The images from before had left a traumatic burn on her mind, she didn't need anything else.
Scooting a bit closer Mitsu began to read the web page trying to absorb the information. It didn't seem like anything clicked until a noticeable blush began to darken across her cheeks her eyes going a little wide. "S-s-soo...." Her mind was a mess now as things started to fall into place. "A..a guy uses his...his umm...to...to...penetrate..." Her face grew even brighter as she uttered the word her sentence trailing off since she could no longer voice what was on her mind. She had asked Shun to show her....HUFF PUFF how dumb could she be? And his hand demonstration....Mitsu's head was about to explode.
"S-s-so" She squeaked out with effort. "W-what do you do to p-prevent cross contamination if you....do...this?" Or mold....

While Mitsu read, Shun sat by, not sure how things would go. He hope that the article would fill her in pretty nicely without the trauma of watching straight up dirty scenes on the webs. In the silence, he sort of shifted in place now and then before noticing her cheeks taking on a deep blush. It must have clicked.
"... Yes." he said plainly to her stutterings.
She had got it now for sure.
"Bit different for two girls but you.. get the idea at least," he mumbled before raising a brow at her follow up question. Frowning a bit, he soon let out a sigh.
"Protection charms are supposed to help with that," he said.

Mitsu tried to take a few slow breathes to calm herself down so that her face wasn't so red. It really wasn't working but she was at least trying. So it was different for two girls...yes...they were missing a certain...part that the boys had. And her face flushed again at her thoughts as she tried to steer back on topic.
"S-so what's a protection charm?" She asked quietly.

Shun was pretty thankful of the small silence that went on as Mitsu was trying to calm herself. He shifted a bit uncomfortably still though as the air had grown incredibly awkward for sure, especially now that she had figured things out.
"It's... a special little one time use thing... It supposedly.. blocks the FEAR mixing... or something like that," he murmured. He didn't know all the little details of protection charms and how they worked exactly.
"Those are the only two ways I know of anyway," he added lowly.

Mitsu gave a nod, this topic of conversation didn't feel....as awkward. Though while she might have picked up on one thing she didn't understand everything yet. "S..so what does a protection charm look like? How do you use it?" They seemed like simple questions, hopefully she wouldn't get an embarrassing answer.

Shun had to take a moment to think on that.
"Well... it comes in a little packet and you just.. kinda use it," he mumbled, "They sell them at pharmacies and stuff. Not really sure what else to say about those."
Grimacing, he looked around before slowly getting up and heading over to his night stand. He couldn't really believe he was doing this, but when he came back over towards Mitsu, he dropped the small object onto the floor.
"..There."

His explanation didn't give away much. You just...kinda use it? But how do you use it? She was about to open her mouth to ask when he got up to retrieve something. When he came back he dropped something beside her with a simple 'there.' There? So...this was a protection charm? But...protection charms were used during ....s..sex right? Why would Shun have something like that? As the wheels continued to turn Mitsu's face took on an interesting expression. "S-s-so...have you used the protection charm before?" Mitsu had no idea what compelled her to ask what she now realized was a bit of a personal question, but it had slipped passed her tongue before she even realized. To late now.....

Sitting back down, Shun looked up while seeing a rather flustered look on Mitsu's face. Feeling uncomfortable again, he glanced away, staring towards the ground and his laptop in the meantime. The question she tossed out there was something that had him pausing for the moment.
"...."
It was a pretty personal question indeed. And it took him awhile before he could really answer despite how simple it was.
"..Yes."

And he had answered...and the answer was yes. Oh this was awkward. So Shun didn't only know the subject but he had participated in on the subject. Suddenly a random mass of thoughts and questions clouded her mind but nothing seemed to want to come out of her mouth. Mostly she just sat there like a fish out of water.
"......"
"........."
"..I'm sorry," Mitsu finally managed. "I-I didn't meant to pry. I-It just sort of...slipped out." Hopefully he wasn't mad, he didn't seem exactly pleased. She didn't want her friend to be mad at her! "P-please don't be mad..." Her ears drooped to the side of her head, her head tilting forward while her eyes looked up at Shun in a pitiful manner. Her expression screamed 'Mitsu is sorry' in a sad puppy sort of way.

Keeping his gaze averted for the time being, Shun suddenly heard Mitsu sort of panicking. Letting out a sigh, he ran his hand through his hair and looked over towards her.
"I'm not.. mad.." he murmured. He felt incredibly awkward but he wasn't angry or irritated. Just very uncomfortable.
Shifting in place, he just sort of grimaced. Had her opinion changed of him at all?

There was a slight sigh of relief when Shun said he wasn't mad. Mitsu looked a little more at ease despite the awkward situation. She had really been worried she had upset him. It didn't seem like the new found information had phased Mitsu too much. Just a bit of a surprise to learn.
"I'm glad you're not mad." She finally admitted. "I..I don't know what I'd do....if you were mad." Her hand idly clutched at her shirt by her chest. Just the thought of making the reaper mad at her...possibly losing his friendship made her chest feel tight...painfully tight.
"I..I'm sorry I made things so awkward. I..I kind of understand now." At least Shun hadn't shown her any vivid imagery trying to get her to understand.

Her response came as a bit of a surprise to Shun. He had almost expected something a little more condescending or something to that effect. The reaper stared at Mitsu for some time, watching the way she sat as she admitted she'd be lost if he had really been angry. Sometimes it was easy to forget how soft she was. It was certainly a bit of a contrast to what he was accustomed to.
That wasn't necessarily bad, however.
"Don't worry about it," he said quietly, "So yeah.. that's that. Um... do you have any other questions?"
A part of him was afraid of the answer.

"I...I uhh..." She did...she had loads of them but perhaps some of them were not meant to be spoken. Others were still rather awkward. "M..maybe for..some other time." Her brain was about to explode from this new discovery and somehow...she was certain the imagery her mind was coming up with would be lingering later on.
"S..so maybe we should just find information on how the protection charms work?" Mitsu asked. "T..that way we have something to turn into Ms. Cricket....or would it be better to go with the first thing you said...just...not having sex." The very word was making her blush now. Any more blushing and her nose would bleed from the rush of blood to her head.

Running his fingers through his hair again as he thought, Shun looked towards the laptop, not really sure.
"It'd be easier to go with the no sex option. If we could find out more on how prot charms work that might get a little more credit I suppose. I have a feeling it might be a little hard to find reliable information on that, however," he murmured.
