Did you solve it, Lex? I've been looking at it since it was posted, and it that damn % wasn't there, I'd know how to solve it. It isn't fair, cause it isn't used in a traditional way that everyone learns....

But yeah it's too messy when Fenny's head a'splodes, so she a'sploded somebody else's. 3nodding Anyhow that's really hard. gonk I don't think I've even covered Algebra that advanced yet...

Yes, the % is supposed to mean "percentage" or "percent of" but it doesn't make sense to have it where it is in the equation or whatever. domokun

I love algebra. We're doing Calculus at the moment, and it is awesome. I mean...how can you not like it?
And I love the whole "rationalise this algebraic fraction and by doing so, solve for x" or "using your index laws, simplify, differentiate and solve for f(-1)". It always gives me a thrill, solving problems like that.
