What? Had no one read all of the Dawn of War novels? I had expected this for a long time. Now I know who their forgotten primarch was, and why there is no knowledge of their founding. The administratum never founded the chapter.

The Dawn of War novels are one of the few fan rated non-canon series out there, as the author is frankly just s**t at what he does.

Quite an understatement as he's one of the most hated authors BL ever signed on. They wanted him gone as soon as humanly possible after his Eldar novel, the dream project he so looked forward to. Thankfully we've got Gav doing a better Eldar series.
Anyway, back on topic.

Face of Treachery on its own is a bit of a bore, with exception to the final twist and it is almost a requirement to also possess the audio tie-in to get the full picture.
