"I'll show you cute!"
Participants: Alphonse, Lyndrali, Analys
Status: Complete

(Lyndrali stays near Analys for quite a long time, so he never tries to approach Alphonse on purpose... yet. Alphonse is always cordial to Analys when he sees her, but knowing Lyndrali is there makes him avoid them. He doesn't go near the lake anymore and mostly stays in the gardens... when he isn't cleaning or bathing in the Asylum, that is. The next time they meet is in the bathroom, where Lyndrali is lying in the tub, his tail striking out, his eyes closed and he's lounging. Alphonse stares for a full minute then slowly turns to walk out. However, his clothes are all over the floor. All. Dirty. And around. Poor Analys' work... Alphonse comes back five minutes later to try and pick them up without Lyndrali noticing. But Lyndrali is staring right at him now.)

Alphonse: ... what. I don't like that you're disrespecting Analys' gift to you. As indecent as these clothes are, she worked hard on them, and material like this should not be squandered.

Lyndrali: She makes me new clothes every week.

Alphonse: ... that's still no reason to disrespect them.

Lyndrali: I'm not disrespecting them! *rolls his eyes* I'll clean them later.

Alphonse: Ugh. I don't trust you to do it properly. *glares at the stains already in the cloth*

Lyndrali: You don't trust me, to clean my own clothes. Again I wonder, why do you care?

Alphonse: *grumbling as he's already walking to a sink and turning the knob to open hot water*

Lyndrali: And there's that big butt in my face. What are you doing here in the first place?

Alphonse: Avert your eyes, you bloody degenerate. I came in here to take a shower.

Lyndrali: Then go take your shower and leave my clothing alone!

Alphonse: I'm not taking a shower with you in here!

Lyndrali: Then get out and wait for me to finish. Or do you want me to get out and continue to stink? Honestly, I don't care but you seem to.

Alphonse: ... why don't we multitask, and you continue bathing, while I take care of your clothes? That way, as soon as you're done, there's no reason for you to stay here and I can be fully rid of you.

Lyndrali: You're saying that, yet, you invaded my privacy... I'm getting mixed messages here, Phonsy~

Alphonse: ... did... you just... call me Phonsy?

Lyndrali: Yes.

Alphonse: Never. Say. That. Again.

Lyndrali: I think I will, Phonsy.

Alphonse: *twitches angrily and instantly flings a bar of soap at him*

Lyndrali: *and he catches it with his tail, he's standing up now, completely exposed*

Alphonse: *his face flares up, and he immediately turns back to face the sink, scrubbing vigorously* GET BACK IN THE TUB.

Lyndrali: No, I'm getting out just like you wanted. Give me my clothes.

Alphonse: I... I-I'm not done yet, just-- just get back in the tub and wait, dammit!

Lyndrali: *glaring at him now and holding out a clawed hand* Give me my clothes.

Alphonse: *pointedly not looking at him and continuing to scrub furiously* I. Am. Not. Done.

Lyndrali: *growls angrily and slowly moves his hand to take the clothes*

Alphonse: *slaps at his hand, but... his hand looks quite red, like he's scrubbed it raw*

Lyndrali: *and he practically rips his clothes out of Alphonse's hand* Not only are you not cute, but you're as obsessive as she said.

Alphonse: *his hand clenches into a fist... before it slams into Lyndrali's face, with quite a bit more force than perhaps he expected*

Lyndrali: *and he nearly falls back, the clothing ripping from the force of his falls, and he snarls loudly* Stay away from me!

Alphonse: *glaring back just as viciously, the fear in his eyes overridden by anger and what looks like furious tears; his antennae are twitching violently with sparks popping at the ends, and he hisses, "Gladly" before marching out of the bathroom*

Lyndrali: *and he's snarling as he watches Alphonse leave, his tail nearly cracking the ground as he looks down at his ruined clothing. But once the anger dissipates, he lookes truly upset and trudges back to Analys' room-- naked.*

(Alphonse is already there, sobbing about ruining her clothes. And Lyndrali just brushes past Alphonse, ignoring him completely, to get Analys' sewing kit...)

Analys: W-wait, what's going on-- what's wrong?

Alphonse: I-I'm sorry I... *hiccup* Ruined your clothes, I didn't... mean to... *his antennae twitch as Lyndrali moves past him, and he whimpers and hurriedly stands up, wiping a sleeve over his eyes as he heads to the door* ... No, no, I'll... talk to you later, I can't...

Analys: Ruined my clothes, I-- oh hi Lyn-- Wait, what's going on...!?

Alphonse: *he's already hurrying out*

Analys: *chases after him* H-hey, why are you just running out so suddenly!

Alphonse: I can't -- be in there with him, I can't...

Analys: With him... my brother-- why...? What happened?

Alphonse: *doesn't quite respond until he's far away from their room; then he slumps his head against a wall, hands pressed against it as he breathes shallowly* We got into an argument... I punched him -- I'm so sorry -- the clothes got ripped... I-I-I'm sorry...

Analys: *and she holds onto her shirt, playing with the edges... Brows furrowing as she looks confused* But he doesn't argue or get angry unless someone touches his things... how did that happen in the first place?

Alphonse: I did that... touched his things... t-they were on the floor, they... they shouldn't be, they'll get dirty and disgusting and I just cleaned that bathroom but I know someone else came in there and messed it up, it wasn't like that when I left...

Analys: *frowns softly and tries to cheer him up by hesitatingly patting his back* He's very possessive... I should have warned you, but he normally takes good care of his things... You shouldn't be worried about that, Alphonse!

Alphonse: *flinches, automatically backing away from her and wrapping his arms around himself, still leaning his head against the wall as he whimpers* I'm sorry...

Analys: *pulls her hand back quickly and nibbles her lips* You shouldn't be telling me this, should you...

Alphonse: N-no... I don't want to talk to him... he'll hurt me, I'm sorry I hit him, but please, please, no...

Analys: Hurt you?! He wouldn't do that! Ever, I promise! But... you should really say sorry to him, I don't wnat you two to fight...

Alphonse: *shakes his head slowly, repeatedly, whimpering* No. No... I can't, not like this...

Analys: Then wait a little bit...?

Alphonse: I... I will...

Analys: I don't mind, Alphonse, so don't worry...

Alphonse: Is it... really alright? Do you need anything to fix the clothes...

Analys: No, he's pretty good at mending my clothes...

Alphonse: Alright... *hiccups* Th-that's good... *slowly drags himself away from the wall, pulling his sleeves over his hands as he wipes his eyes* I... I'll be going to my room now, Analys...

Analys: Yes... that's fine...

Alphonse: *bows his head to her before stumbling down the hallway*

Analys: Oh Alphonse... *frowns* I'm sorry...

"Apologies, apologies... I didn't mean to go that far."
Participants: Alphonse, Analys, Lyndrali
Status: Complete

(Alphonse avoids them for a couple of days, but he eventually waits at the lake. And Analys arrives by herself however.)

Alphonse: *outwardly, he seems fine, perfectly groomed, his head held high, clothes pressed and clean... but his hands are even redder than normal* Hello, Analys.

Analys: Ah! Alphonse. How are you doing?

Alphonse: As well as I can manage, I suppose. And you?

Analys: I've been good... Um, were you waiting for...?

Alphonse: ... Yes, but I must say I prefer seeing you instead.

Analys: *laughs weakly and tugs at the rim of her shirt* I'm sorry for all the trouble that's happened.

Alphonse: It's partially my fault. I may have expected far too much of him. I won't make that mistake again.

Analys: Expected... too much, what do you mean?

Alphonse: You went on and on about how kind and funny and gentle he was -- but of course he wouldn't act that way to me! Why would he? Why would anyone? *laughs bitterly* I never allow for that type of behavior, do I?

Analys: ... Alphonse, stop it...

Alphonse: *his hands were starting to clutch tightly at the hem of his coat... his dry, red fingers slowly loosen their grip*

Analys: Honestly Alphonse, how do you think this makes him feel right now? I've been trying to keep him in a good mood since he's gotten here -- but you just keep sending him into depression too! What's wrong with you two?! It's driving me mad!

Alphonse: ... I'm sorry, Analys. After I apologize to him, I'll leave him alone -- I'll attempt to be cordial if I must speak to him... and hopefully that will resolve some things.

Analys: *crosses her arms, and her brows furrow* Why don't you try being his friend.

Alphonse: I... don't think I deserve to be.

Analys: Why not?!

Alphonse: Please, Analys, begging your pardon, but I'd really rather minimize contact with him. I doubt he would lose sleep over not speaking with me.

Analys: He wouldn't, but I would! There's no way anyone around here would be friends with him... he's too proud to even ask...

Alphonse: *blinks slowly at this, but lets out a derisive noise* Well, that's one thing we have in common.

Analys: But you have friends, Alphonse...

Alphonse: Yes, but not by request; by some strange stroke of luck I am eternally grateful for. *looks down at his hands, antennae quivering* I... often act like I don't care, don't I? But I don't like to be alone, Analys. I'm far more indebted to the company of my companions than you know.

Analys: *steps forward and pinches his nose* In this situation, we need friends. Why do you need to feel indebted to them?

Alphonse: *shifts away just slightly, shaking his head* You're missing the point. That's exactly what I mean... I need you... all of you.

Analys: *she pulls her hand back and smiles softly* We need you too. Especially the little blue berry.

Alphonse: ... *finally, he smiles at that* He's a sweet little mouse.

Analys: *giggles and nods* He's really clingy to you, isn't he?

Alphonse: He is. When the other rodent allows him to, that is. I don't trust that boy.

Analys: *taps her chin lightly* Why not?

Alphonse: He's publicly proclaiming reasons not to trust him! Take over the Asylum? We'd sooner be killed!

Analys: He's a little kid who's trying to play a game!

Alphonse: A bloody dangerous one!

Analys: ... How is he dangerous?

Alphonse: The game is dangerous. The worst part is, I don't think he's 'playing' at all. He might be completely serious -- and how can we truly know for sure, really? I don't like that he's getting Azzy involved with his ludicrous schemes...

Analys: Oh Alphonse... Just keep them in check. I honestly just think it's a game... but if you're worried... I'll watch too. *her head quickly turns now as Lyndrali is quietly walking by, wearing the tattered remains of the clothes...*

Alphonse: *confused, he follows her gaze and freezes up... he looks fearfully back at Analys one more time, then steels himself before approaching Lyndrali, stiff as if expecting a blow* Lyndrali!

Lyndrali: *his eyes briefly glance at him, before a snort escapes his nose and he pushes past him* ...

Analys: Oh Lyndrali, don't be like that--

Lyndrali: It's none of your business, Analys.

Analys: But I don't want you two to fight...

Lyndrali: We can't fight if we don't speak.

Alphonse: We can go right back to not speaking if you'll just let me have a few more words.

Lyndrali: *but he ignores Alphosne and dives right into the lake*

Analys: Ugh! You stubborn dragon you!! *dives in right after him, yelling in a strange foreign tongue*

Alphonse: *watches this for a few moments, but quickly becomes disheartened as he sighs and makes some distance*

(The two of them can be seen fighting in the waters, and eating at the same time. Although it's not really fighting, when you have just hte one person yelling at the other while the other is just munching on as many fish as he can find. He keeps glaring over at Alphonse with each glance, however it eventually does becomes sympathetic... Alphonse is just staring at them from underneath a tree, brows furrowed. His face seems caught between concern and sadness, and after another awhile of watching this sort-of tussle over fish, he sighs, stands up, dusts himself off, and moves to leave. It takes Lyndrali a bit... but he eventually makes a noisy exit out of the lake, so Alphonse isn't scared. But the noisy exit still scares him, and makes him stumble away, antennae twitching as he stares at him with wide eyes.)

Lyndrali: ... what the hell is wrong with you, you act like a bird.

Alphonse: Don't compare me to birds! I have every reason to be scared in a place like this!

Lyndrali: So what, you thought I was going to come out and kill you?

Alphonse: *glances at Lyndrali's cheek* ... I have enough faith left in you to guess that you wouldn't go that far, but... I thought you might... return the favor.

Lyndrali: *and his cheek is swollen, and blue...* I don't hit people.

Alphonse: *quietly* You looked like you were going to. Analys said you liked to fight.

Lyndrali: I like to fight, but I don't hurt people I don't know. *his eyes a narrowed* But you're making me want to.

Alphonse: *instantly moves even further away from him, his wings fluttering, again looking like they want to frantically fly away and escape...*

Lyndrali: *snorts and turns away* Whatever, go away.

Alphonse: ... I will. I will happily leave you alone. *his footsteps crunch the grass as he quickly walks away, but he pauses a moment... only to march back to Lyndrali, fists trembling while his eyes waver in trying to look at him directly* One last thing. I'm sorry for hurting you and invading your space. I won't do it again.

Lyndrali: *but he jumped back into the lake and didn't hear him* What?

Alphonse: *lets out a loud, frustrated cry and stomps away*

Lyndrali: *sticks his tongue out and splashs back to Analys, who yells at him.*

(Next time they meet, Lyndrali will be lying in a patch of flowers... Alphonse turns like he's going to walk out upon seeing him. But he looks so serene and peaceful, now is your perfect chance, Alphonse. Still, he doesn't want to wake him up and risk angering him again. So he goes off to another part of the gardens, and after awhile he nudges Lyndrali with a stick.)

Lyndrali: *swats the stick, but otherwise doesn't move*

Alphonse: ... please, let's not have a repeat of our first meeting again...

Lyndrali: ... mmm, shuddup I'm trying to sleep.

Alphonse: You have a room, don't you?

Lyndrali: No, I don't.

Alphonse: I thought you slept in Analys' room.

Lyndrali: I'm not allowed to anymore, the doctor's orders.

Alphonse: ... Odd. I'd never heard of that happening.

Lyndrali: I'm supposed to be in another room.

Alphonse: One that they assigned to you?

Lyndrali: Yes, but I'm not going there.

Alphonse: Why not?

Lyndrali: None of your business, right?

Alphonse: ... Right.

Lyndrali: Good, then let me sleep.

Alphonse: *sighs quietly, dropping the stick* I'm sorry.

Lyndrali: ....

Alphonse: I'm sorry for hitting you. I'm sorry for invading your personal space and doing the very thing I always caution people against. It won't happen again.

Lyndrali: *snorts* Mhm, I'm sure my sister put you up to this.

Alphonse: No! I wanted to apologize to you, but I was too cowardly to do it -- she was the last push I needed.

Lyndrali: Because you needed a push to say sorry.

Alphonse: In case you haven't noticed, you are frightening.

Lyndrali: Don't touch my things, and I won't be.

Alphonse: As I said, I won't do it again.

Lyndrali: Good.

Alphonse: ... I'll let you sleep now.

Lyndrali: Thank you.

Alphonse: *sighs softly before picking himself up and trudging out of the garden*

"W-w-what are you doing in here?!"
Participants: Alphonse, Lyndrali
Status: Incomplete

(Next time Alphonse sees Lyndrali, he's in his room, sleeping in the bed. Alphonse shrieks, coming back to his room only after a long day of cleaning.)

Lyndrali: *and he lifts a hand up* Be quiet!

Alphonse: WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY ROOM?

Lyndrali: Our room.

Alphonse: W... w-when did it become our room?!

Lyndrali: When I first arrived here.

Alphonse: This is the room they assigned you? I... oh, Arceus, why?! There's only one bed!!

Lyndrali: Let me sleep here now, and then I'll leave.

Alphonse: ... fine... fine. I normally sleep outside, anyway...

Lyndrali: *opens a weary eye, it narrows, and he stands up to leave*

Alphonse: You can stay.

Lyndrali: I already got up.

Alphonse: *takes out a mop from the bucket he carried into the room... and pokes Lyndrali in the stomach with it* Then get down.

Lyndrali: *his eye twitches, and he pushes past Alphonse to leave*

Alphonse: *groans and grabs Lyndrali's wrist with a gloved hand* I said you could stay!

Lyndrali: I don't want to stay. Let go of my hand. I'm fine.

Alphonse: *too tired to get into another fight, he sighs and lets go of him, moving to take off his gloves... and letting out a high, panicked gasp at seeing the blood on the inside of the glove*

Lyndrali: *and his eyes glance at this* ... What the hell did you do?

Alphonse: *scrambles to a set of neatly piled boxes, hurriedly digging through them to find some wipes for the dry, cracked areas of his skin; he wipes both of his hands after hurriedly disposing of the bloodied gloves, and carefully, achingly ties bandages around them. The whole while, his hands are shaking and he seems to be hyperventilating...*

Lyndrali: Hey, what are you doing to yourself?!

Alphonse: *doesn't speak up until the blood is out of his sight, covered up by thick layers of bandages; he mutters quietly as he ties some tight knots to keep them closed* I'm fine... Just cleaning too much... that's all...

Lyndrali: ... you cleaned so much, you started bleeding?

Alphonse: Yes, I'm fine, it usually closes up in a few days...

Lyndrali: You shouldn't do that! Analys will think you hurt youself on purpose.

Alphonse: But I need to clean, this place is so dirty...

Lyndrali: It's not your job to clean other people's messes.

Alphonse: *staring blankly at his hands* No one else bothers. They allow their filth to accumulate into a festering pit.

Lyndrali: Then make them clean their messes.

Alphonse: I've tried. No one listens to me.

Lyndrali: Have you even tried hitting them, like you did to me--

Alphonse: *burrows his hands in his hair, hunching over* No... stop it, I said I'm sorry...

Lyndrali: Don't feel bad about it, just do it. They don't feel any pity for you.

Alphonse: I don't want to get hurt. They will hurt me.

Lyndrali: *sighs loudly* Do you want me to be your bodyguard?

Alphonse: Don't joke about something like that.

Lyndrali: I'm not.

Alphonse: You hate me.

Lyndrali: I never said I hated you, twerp.

Alphonse: ... *lifts his head up slowly, his eyes too bright* You... don't?

Lyndrali: No. *and he stares at him*

Alphonse: *bites his lip as it trembles slightly, and swallows roughly as he looks at Lyndrali's cheek* Why would you do that for me? I've been nothing but awful to you.

Lyndrali: *his lips pucker* I'm sure you didn't mean to be.

Alphonse: *his eyes waver a little more, but he lifts his head higher to better look at Lyndrali* I am truly sorry.

Lyndrali: *crosses his arms and stares at him* How do I believe you do?

Alphonse: *looks like he's on the brink of tears, with his bright eyes and quivering hands, but he tries to straighten himself and project at least a facade of confidence* I will treat you with the respect you deserve, as long as you extend the same to me.

Lyndrali: I don't need respect! Just don't touch my ******** things and we'll be fine.

Alphonse: ... Fine.

Lyndrali: Good. Now, let's get you to a nurse or something--

Alphonse: No. I just need to lie outside, the moonlight will help...

Lyndrali: *stares at him*

Alphonse: I heal faster with the aid of moonlight. *stands up, heading for the door... he hesitates, but nods at him* You can come with me, if you'd like a demonstration.

Lyndrali: ... yeah why not, I'm not tired anymore.

Alphonse: *looks rather tired himself as he smiles thinly, then continues walking to head outside to the courtyard*

Lyndrali: ... *and he follows from behind, quietly*

(Alphonse is walking quite slowly, staring down at his hands and worrying at the bandages. The constant twitching of his wings and antennae have also slowed down)

Lyndrali: ... Are you sure we shouldn't take you to get examined--

Alphonse: Completely sure.

Lyndrali: You look worried.

Alphonse: ... *sighs* It's nothing.

Lyndrali: Then why would you be worried if it were nothing?

Alphonse: I'm not worried. It's going to be fine, absolutely fine.

Lyndrali: ... what's going to be fine?

Alphonse: My hands... the floors I just cleaned... for awhile, at least...

Lyndrali: Why do you need to clean so much?

Alphonse: Cleaning is a good distraction. It makes... this... a tad more manageable.

Lyndrali: This?

Alphonse: This form, the Asylum... everything.

Lyndrali: ... So you hurt yourself to stay happy.

Alphonse: It doesn't make me happy.

Lyndrali: Keeps you calm.

Alphonse: As close as I can get.

Lyndrali: Sounds wrong, man.

Alphonse: *sighs heavily, pushing open the doors to the courtyard with his shoulder* You don't know the half of it.

Lyndrali: *and he slips through it before it closes* I wouldn't know.

Alphonse: *looks up at the sky, sighing in relief at seeing that it's clear tonight; he walks ahead in search of an area open to the light... upon locating one, he lays down on the grass, slightly curled up, the swirls on his wings looking a little brighter*

Lyndrali: *and he stands a few feet away, just watching this*

Alphonse: *his wings seem to capture the moonbeams, almost appearing to glow with faint silver tendrils of light spreading through the swirls; Alphonse lets out a small sigh, sinking into the grass, looking the most relaxed he's ever been*

Lyndrali: *and he's quite enamored by those wings now, not paying attention to anything else as his hands reach out to touch them once more...*

Alphonse: *they flutter weakly but do not move much farther away, and Alphonse opens his eyes slightly to watch him carefully*

Lyndrali: *but he's tender and gentle -- just as Analys first described him. Those cold fingers of his outline the swirls softly on his wings...*

Alphonse: *so, he silently allows Lyndrali to do this, gold eyes staring at him the whole time. His wings occasionally flutter, but he makes no other protest*

Lyndrali: *eventually he pulls his hand away and finally notices that Alphonse is staring at him. Without thought, he smirks.*

Alphonse: *in reply, he scowls, despite the pink bright on his cheeks*

Lyndrali: *settles down on the ground next to him and looks up at the sky* ...

Alphonse: ... I like to sleep outside because I feel more at home under the night sky.

Lyndrali: ... what do you mean?

Alphonse: I told you I was a firefly. I was part of a very large swarm... and at nighttime, we would all fly together, like stars drifting through the dusk.

Lyndrali: ... what happened to them?

Alphonse: When I said I understood your pain, I meant it. They were all killed, while I was captured... and ended up here.

Lyndrali: ... *lets out a loud aggravated noise* ... why did they have to kill.

Alphonse: Because they're depraved, sadistic bastards, the lot of them.

Lyndrali: They are... if I found out who abducted me, I'm going to murder them.

Alphonse: I wish I had the strength to do the same. More than that... I wish I had to strength to save them. *quietly* When the humans attacked, they all fought... and I stood there... and did nothing...

Lyndrali: ... I was asleep when it happened, I woke up to find them all slaughtered before me.

Alphonse: *lifts his head to get a better look at Lyndrali, gold mixed with anger and sadness and something altogether bitter; but his face seems tired more than anything else* That feeling of helplessness is the worst part.

Lyndrali: ... it is, go to sleep you stupid bug...

Alphonse: *snorts quietly, but drops his head back to the grass, folding his bandaged hands underneath his head like a pillow*

Lyndrali: *and he quietly stays beside him that night*

"I can't breathe!"
Participants: Alphonse, Lyndrali, Azzy, Ingway
Status: Incomplete

(Lyndrali's still there in the morning; he started snoring though. So Alphonse wakes up wondering what the hell that noise is. IS IT A MONSTER? IS IT WAITING FOR HIM TO WAKE UP SO IT CAN SLOWLY EAT HIM AS HE SCREAMS? Oh, but it's just Lyndrali... Wait. He's not sure if that makes him feel any better.)

Alphonse: ... L... Lyndrali?

Lyndrali: *snort yawn turn.*

Alphonse: ... Lyndrali?

Lyndrali: *snort snore drool*

Alphonse: ... *grimaces and slowly reaches into his pockets to pull out a wipe. And dabs at the drool.*

Lyndrali: *and his hand shots out, and pulls him close.*

Alphonse: ... *drops the wipe in shock*

Lyndrali: *and he's holding him loosely, but terribly close*

Alphonse: ... *stares at the faceful of dragon chest he's been pulled into. He feels cramped and yet excited and too scared -- or perhaps simply too reluctant -- to pull away, as his breathing quickens*

Lyndrali: *his breathing is soft, light, and he seems to have stopped snoring. However his tail curled itself around Alphonse's body...*

Alphonse: *his breathing gets even faster, creeping dangerously close to hyperventilating. His antennae are twitching so rapidly that they emit a small buzzing sound.*

Lyndrali: *and he just lets out a heavy sigh...*

(Alphonse ends up staying there until Lyndrali wakes up. It's a valid question of whether or not he just couldn't bring himself to pull away, or he passed out from light-headedness.)

Lyndrali: *blinks slwoly and stretches his arms out... until he looks down and see the firefly. He plucks the little boy up and holds him up into the air like a doll and stares more*

(As Alphonse's arms dangle uselessly, it seems like he did pass out. He looks oddly pale, almost blue, even.)

Lyndrali: ... that doesn't look healthy. You probably lost too much blood. Alright, to the nurse, since you can't protest now.

(Well, he can't. And he certainly isn't hard to carry around, especially for one with Lyndrali's strength. So he's carrying him under his armpit, like a rag doll, and calling out for someone to help him and his friend.

A little blue boy seems to be bouncing about the place, looking for someone -- but then he sees Lyndrali... and Alphonse. And he stops dead in his tracks and in front of them, eyes narrowed.)

Lyndrali: Hey. Kid, you shouldn't just be standing in the middle of the hallway like that, move.

Azzy: ...

Lyndrali: *furrows his brows* Hey, are you deaf? I said move... *reaches out a hand to push him away*

Azzy: *and he automatically chomps down roughly on that hand*

Lyndrali: AAAAAAGH WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?

Azzy: *keeps biting even as Lyndrali flings him all over while waving his hand to get him off*

(Eventually Azzy does fall off and tumbles to the ground, he doesn't look hurt... but he's glaring and screaming some strange syllables at him... then he runs off as fast as his tiny legs can take him. He goes running straight to Nicanor and starts bawling because he thinks Alphonse is dead. While Azzy is sobbing, Lyndrali is now looking for a nurse for both him and Alphonse. And eventually Ingway appears behind them.)

Ingway: Do you need something?

(And Lyndrali screams and hits him with Alphonse... by accident. Ingway just blinks slowly at him.)

Lyndrali: .... who are you.

Ingway: I am Ingway Faeson, one of the nurses.

Lyndrali: ... we need help.

Ingway: *his eyes glance down at Alphonse* I guessed. Bring him to my office. *turns around abruptly, hair and coat fanning out behind him, and then begins to walk*

Lyndrali: .... *groans as he holds Alphonse gingerly now*

(Ingway walks even faster than Alphonse. He doesn't even wait to see if Lyndrali is following him. It's harder for him to follow Ingway however, because he's worrying over having rabies from that blue thing that bit him earlier. Azzy left a huge mark.

Only after a few minutes have passed of Lyndrali flailing after him does Ingway appear again. Right in front of him. And he crashes, right into him. Ingway doesn't budge, just stares impassively at him.)

Lyndrali: ... W-well can you help instead of just standing there?!

Ingway: I intend to. Try to keep up. *and he begins walking again. Speed-walking.*

Lyndrali: ... I can't walk that fast!

Ingway: *slows down just a fraction. Underneath Lyndrali's arm, Alphonse groans*

Lyndrali: ... how far is this place?!

Alphonse: What place...

Lyndrali: The nurse's office?!

Alphonse: ... nurse's office... nurse's office?! What? Why?!

Lyndrali: Because you turned blue. And something bit my hand.

Alphonse: Ugh, I... I don't remember what happened... *blinks blearily, and he's about to turn to look for Lyndrali's hands until he sees one ahead of him, supporting him beneath his knees; then he blushes furiously and tries desperately not to look at Lyndrali's chest again* Actually, now I think you may have had something to do with it.

Lyndrali: ... Why would I have something to do with you turning blue.

Alphonse: *his antennae are twitching rapidly, and even though his head is turned, his blush reaches the tips of his ears* You're bloody cold.

Lyndrali: ...*smirks* Really.

Alphonse: Yes. Frigid, even.

Lyndrali: Then I'll let you down.

Alphonse: *his antennae twitch even more* Ah, wait, I -- I think I'm still feeling rather weak. Bit wobbly in the knees.

Lyndrali: So you don't mind the cold.

Alphonse: I will try to bear it. *pulls his coat closer to himself, and binds it shut with the clasp on his waist*

Lyndrali: *and he continues to smirk as he walks*

Alphonse: *he can practically feel him smirking -- he's imagining it, at the very least. So he stubbornly refuses to look at Lyndrali until they finally come across Ingway waiting in front of a door*

Lyndrali: *stares at him warily* What, I was going too slow again?

Ingway: No. We are here. *there is a click, and the door swings open, seemingly of its own accord. As Ingway walks inside, it's visible that the door -- certainly in better shape than most of the Asylum -- is embellished with a plaque that reads, 'Nurse's Office'*

Lyndrali: *his eyes glance around curiously*.. Where do I put him, Mr. Murse.

(The rest of the office is in equally good condition. It has noticeably modern, minimalistic decor; everything is sleek, rounded, and in dull, muted colors. Across from the front desk are three chairs for patients, while somewhere further behind it is a bed. There are two other doors in the office, but Ingway gestures to the bed...)

Lyndrali: *slowly looks around as he places Alphonse down on the bed, and shakes the hand that's covered in flakes of drying blood*

Ingway: *while Alphonse belatedly notices the blood and lets out a gasp, Ingway nods at him* I will attend to you first, Lyndrali.

Lyndrali: Eh. IT's not bad. It's dried already.

Ingway: It will require cleaning to prevent infection and examination to ensure the bite does not come with additional effects.

Lyndrali: ...rabies.

Ingway: ... yes. Such as rabies.

Lyndrali: *and he looks horrified*

Ingway: Sit down.

Lyndrali: ... *sits quickly on the ground*

Ingway: Chair.

Lyndrali: Why, I'm tall enough.

Ingway: It would be preferable if you sat in a chair.

Lyndrali: I don't want--

Ingway: *his eyes are swallowed up by blue light -- light that quickly surrounds Lyndrali, lifts him off the ground, and dumps him into one of the chairs across from his desk*

Lyndrali: WAAAGH WHAT THE HELL?!

Ingway: *approaches him calmly, his eyes back to red, while Alphonse lets out quite a few panicky noises*

Lyndrali: You know, you're a big. d**k.

Ingway: *blinks slowly, but he takes Lyndrali's bitten hand without comment. His eyes begin to glow again, and supplies resting around the office float to Ingway, also surrounded by that same blue light. Eerily, a floating blue cloth cleans away the dried blood, soon followed by an antibiotic fluid*

Lyndrali: .... ..thanks.

Ingway: *with these objects doing their work, this leaves Ingway's hands free to turn over Lyndrali's hand, examining it and tracing the bite marks left behind, just before bandages move in*

Lyndrali: ... why are you touching them...

Ingway: Because you cannot tell me specifically, the imprints of the teeth help determine which type of patient bit you. You were bitten by an Azurill. They do not carry poison. Or rabies.

Lyndrali: *sniffs* I wasn't bit by a gem. I was bit by this blue shitty--

Ingway: Azurill is the species name. *already standing up and moving to Alphonse, his supplies psychically in tow. Alphonse automatically shrinks away from him, but Ingway offers a small, polite smile and keeps his distance as he uses Telekinesis to unravel Alphonse's bandages*

Lyndrali: Species. Isn't he just a human or, whatever... just happens to be blue?

Ingway: No. Did you not see his ears?

Lyndrali: Ears? I thought that was part of his hat.

Ingway: And the tail...?

Lyndrali: Tail? I was too busy getting bitten to notice anything 8I

Ingway: Understandable. But you will be fine.

Lyndrali: If my hand falls off I'm blaming you.

Ingway: *seems to smile at that, but he goes on to examine Alphonse. His psychic abilities do the work while his hands take notes. He's careful not to touch the clearly nervous Volbeat, but he seems to mumble things like obsessive compulsive desire to clean and nervous breakdown*

Lyndrali: ... *listening to this, and snickers quietly*

(Alphonse looks even more scared, staring at the clipboard in Ingway's hands with trepidation. But in a couple of minutes, Ingway is done rebandaging both of Alphonse's hands.)

Ingway: Use this time to lessen your cleaning habits. The Asylum's floors will survive without you.

Alphonse: ... yes. Of course.

Ingway: You may go.

Lyndrali: *stands up and tugs Alphonse* Come on.

Alphonse: *stumbles slightly, huffing at him, but he follows after tossing a thank you over his shoulder*

Lyndrali: That wasn't so hard.

Alphonse: No... but, Lyndrali; the Azurill you saw... what did he look like?

Lyndrali: Short... Black all over. I don't know I wasn't paying attention.

Alphonse: I think I might know him...

Lyndrali: He's a savage beast.

Alphonse: No! No, he -- he has a very poor influence bossing him around. Or perhaps you scared him! What exactly happened?

Lyndrali: Nothing!! I was just minding my own business, looking for the nurse! He then screamed and attacked my hand!

Alphonse: ... *abruptly, he marches in front of Lyndrali and tugs him along instead* We're going to have a talk with him!

Lyndrali: What-- no way! Freakin worse than an animal!

Alphonse: No! We're going to find out why he acted that way! It's completely out of character for him!

Lyndrali: I don't care!!!

Alphonse: I do!!! *resolutely dragging him down the hallway by the arm*

Lyndrali: *glares at his back* why do you have to take me?!!?

Alphonse: *where his wings are fluttering, as if trying to speed this along* I thought you were going to be my bodyguard. *wryly* Aren't you going to protect me from that "savage beast"?

Lyndrali: ... *lets out an exaggerated sigh* Yeah.

Alphonse: *throws an exasperated look back at him, but he clutches Lyndrali's arm tighter before releasing it* Now, I won't have to drag you the whole way, will I?

Lyndrali: *groans and walks ahead of him now* Yeah.

Alphonse: *but he tries to maintain his lead by striding ahead of him again.*

Lyndrali: *and he watches him* ...

Alphonse: *seems more frantic instead of his previous poise; he's looking around quickly and peering surreptitiously into various rooms*

Lyndrali: What are you doing?

Alphonse: I'm not even sure where his room is... u-ugh, not there... Azzy? *cups his hands around his mouth* Azzy!

(And there is loud sobbing echoing through the hall. Not knowing where else to go, Alphonse runs towards the sobbing. It grows louder and louder by the moment. It's followed by yelling and promises to find Alphonse's -- Minion Number Three's -- murderer.)
