.......why is this fox telling me what to do? Hmmm maybe it's a test or something to see if we can follow it, track it's sent...ya that's what this is about.
Llikmeht didn't mind following the other wolf, but something that he could surely hunt down and kill when he was older, he was not to happy about. He looked at Rorret and tilted his head to one side, then picked his nose up high to get the sent of the fox, taking it in like a breath of fresh air.
They seemed to be traveling somewhere, maybe on a hunt, Llikmeht didn't know, and didn't care, his adrenaline was pumping, he was fueled and fulled from fresh meat, whatever was coming he was ready.

"The fox is your ally, now," Rorret, said, gently, but cast a look of sharp warning between the pups -- a look that suggested if they didn't behave, he would be sure to step in on the fox's behalf. "You will mind him. He is your brother, now, as am I."
Confident that they would go obediently, he followed behind them, keeping an eye out for the fox up ahead to make sure that they kept on track.
They walked for quite some time, cresting over the top of the rocky cliffs that made up the pack's northern border. Climbing down the moraine was difficult, but doable -- trails were worn into the path, almost invisible to any stranger but familiar enough to both Rorret and his fox companion.
The cliff opened out into a rocky flatland. To one side of the territory was a broad lake that faded into swampy marshland; the other side was made of scrubby underbrush and large collections of boulders and hardened knobs of earth. It was toward these drumlins that Rorret turned, leading the pups to a rather large den, one large enough to hold multiple grown wolves. There were bones outside, bones clearly belonging to wolves long-since gone.
"Welcome home," Rorret said, simply, as he deposited them here and, with a meaningful look at Jasper to keep an eye on them, he went first to alert the other omegas of their presence, and then to tell the higher-ranking wolves of the the arrival of these newest members.
