"Yeah," he said, grinning as she worked and thinking of the other ghoul. "We met on groanspring, but I swear we were on the same train. Except since she's a demon she probably had some big fancy cart of her own while I was stuck between this old lady with three faces that kept turning around and around, and her kid, who weighed more than a horse and was still in a diaper," he told her, thinking back to the train ride.
"She's my vice for the music club, cuz she plays a guitar kinda like mine. I haven't heard her play yet, though," he said. "Haven't heard you play yet, either," he added. "Other than over recording. So you gotta come to our tryouts, too," he told her. "I wanna hear you play live."

"Demons usually get fancy stuff, yeah..." she said absent-mindedly as she got onto his Mohawk thingamajig. "I'll be at the tryouts, promise. I'm almost done..."
She trimmed his burnt bits and started measuring and making sure everything was perfect. It looked normal, like it was before. Apparently Claire's memory for hair was quite good.
"You'll need to re-dye that purple back, though." She said as she climbed back in to her seat. "All done!"

"Yeah?" he asked, reaching up and patting his head to make sure she hadn't left him bald out of revenge. It felt right. "Thanks, Claire. You're awesome," he said. "I've got the bottle of dye already, I figure I'll dye it full purple and just let it grow out again."
He turned, looking up at her with a crooked grin. "Thanks for not shaving me bald," he told her as he got to his feet. "And hey, next time you wanna hang out just call me. We'll have an eating competition, or something."
He felt... lighter. Now that she knew--s**t. She knew. Danny knew. What the jack was with him today, pouring out his sob story to the entire world? His head was starting to hurt.

Claire gave him two thumbs up and said "You're on! I'd never make someone bald, hair is too pretty, even when it's on someone I don't like. Not that I don't like you, but you get what I mean~" she said with a smile. "I'll catch you later, yeah? Thanks for the chatterin'" Claire said with a bow as she left.
