I think he needs to hang out more with Lois too, not tell her his secret but when Clark, Lois, and Chloe are together its a totally hilairious scene

I honestly don't miss Shelby that much. For some reason Krypto didn't seem like that big a part of Smallville except the one episode that Shelby was introed in... But since I Haven't seen Krypto during this season I can only assume that Krypto has gotten lost or died in during the second meteor shower.

Well Shelby was in Arrival. if you remember when Lois went to the Kent's house and ran right through the crater( xp )

Shelby pissed the Kents off, by wizzing on a rug or something. And since Clark is a big person now, it was his responsability to put Shelby down the way of Old Yeller...

considering i have never seen old yeller i wouldn;t know what happens. So lets say Shelby pisses on the rug, Clark is sent to put shelby outside when Chloe pulls up. unable to control his deep down affections for Chloe, he is unable to control his heat vision which he ends up setting the dog on fire. Being scorched Clark super speeds the dog to Lex's. Since the dog was originally property of Luthorcorp and Lex doesn't want Clark to find out there is anything between him and Lana, Lex has Shelby shipped out to one of the most highly trained and Elusive vets in the country where he is currently undergoing multiple surgeries and doggie therapy.

LMAO!!! I like that theory... Though in Old Yeller the kid had to shoot Yeller for one reason or another. His dad left it up to him since it was his dog... O.o yeah... though I think Lex would want to know what kind of farming acciendt caused Krypto to burst into flames nearly killing him... Lex: Geez Clark what did you do drop him in a gas tank and let him play in the oven after...

I like the name Krypto better then Shelby... Well, mom always get to pick the names... No arguing there. :p
Tom Wellings likes dogs, so unless the producers axe the dog or cut it off or the dog's owners take him away or whatever, I think Tom won't mind having the dog on the show.
And yes, Shelby's a nice doggy, good friends with Clarky. blaugh

And I didn't know that Lois was allergic to dogs. : At least not that I was aware of. Is this allergy only in Smallville? Or was it part of the original Lois?

I don't remember Lois ever being allergic to dogs in the comics. It might have only been a SV thing

"Shelby" is actually still there. I saw him in a few episodes in the 5th season. The last time I saw him was in the episode that Tom directed. xD
