Kronos shrugged and shed his carapace. He wasn't really trying to impress anybody to begin with, and he would've needed to shed it soon anyways before it started to chip. He caught the book and opened it up, deciding to learn the spell that the Kiranu had told him to learn.

The spell energy ball looked simple enough for him. He waved his hand in a circular motion before thrusting it out. A crackling ball of crimson red energy with streaks of black shot from his hand and hit a training dummy. The training dummy shook a bit, but nothing more.
(1/1 energy ball learned... I'm assuming it's only 1 post since beth is a master)

Kronos's next spell he needed to learn was called acsio. Acsio seemed simple enough. The man put his book down and put his palm out focusing on it. The book flew up and into his hand, almost in the exact same place it was before.
(I still think it's 1 post, correct me if I'm wrong)

Kronos opened the book again, and began reading through the skills. The next one was called energy coat. The man focused on making an outer layer of energy, and could see a small layer of rippling red and black energy form around him.

As soon as Kronos had finished the energy coat skill, he moved right on to the next one, already knowing what it was. The man focused energy in his hand and slapped the ground. Suddenly, four spears streaked from the ground at a target, the fourth one impaling it right through it's chest.

Kronos picked up the book, noticing there were no more arcane techniques. However, when he looked down far enough, there was a section on minor elemental releases. The first one was called ice shards. The man focused on the area in front of him, and a circle of red and black energy crackled before him. Suddenly, a total of fifteen ice daggers shot out and impaled the dummy.

The only other minors element release he could learn currently was called the fireball. Kronos focused on his hand, speeding up the particles of matter with his energy. When the particles were fast enough, they ignited, exploding into a huge fireball. Kronos threw it at a dummy, and it exploded against the dummy causing it to catch fire. The fire eventually burned itself out, leaving the target scorched and blackened.

Kronos looked at Elizabeth before asking "are there any other techniques I should learn?" In his always polite but apathetic voice.

Kronos caught the book with his chest, giving a slight oomf as the book hit his chest. The man opened the book and began looking through the skills, seeing which one he should learn first. the first one was called stone levitation. The man lifted a watermelon sized rock from the earth and hurled it at the dummy, knocking it's head clean off.

Kronos bent down and picked up the book he was studying. He opened it again, and moved on to the next skill. The next skill was called Earth shield. It involved summoning a slab of rock that could defend against projectile attacks.

Kronos stomped on the ground and moved his hand up. Instantly, a large slab of earth erupted from the ground. He then lifted the earth clean out of the ground and hurled it at a target, which was then cut clean in half.

Kronos opened up the book again, looking for another skill to learn. The next one in line was called rock hanging. It would allow him to walk up walls and mountaintops.

Kronos ran at a wall, putting energy into his feet. When he neared the wall he put just enough energy to get up the first step. He then put in energy for a second step. Soon enough, he was on the roof, hanging upside down. The man then dropped, righting himself and landing in a crouch.

Kronos opened up his book again, aware that there was only one more skill to learn. It was called earth trap. Earth trap would loosen and suddenly condense the earth at a target's feet, trapping them.

Kronos turned to look at another of the targets he was practicing on. He focused his energy and made it mold into the ground at the target's base of it's post. Suddenly, the target sank about two feet deeper than it already was in the earth. Kronos then condensed the earth, knowing that unless an enemy was strong enough, they would've been trapped there until he felt like letting them go.

Kronos set the book down, looking at the Beth. "And i'm assuming i'd work on my bloodline abilities next?" He asked her, figuring since it was the only thing left, he may as well. After that, he would need to learn a C ranked skill, but he wasn't sure which one he would learn yet. He figured he would decide soon enough, when he was done with all of these D ranked skills.

Kronos caught this book as well. He opened it up and looked up the techniques. The first one was called terror ammo. While useless since the man didn't even own a gun, he figured he may as well learn it. He focused on his carapace form and slowly, six bullets for a revolver appeared inside of his hand.

Kronos then entered his carapace form. The next skill he was to learn was called dagger claws. He focused on his hands in carapace mode and envisioned them getting sharper. Soon enough, they were. He clawed at a dummy with one and deep rends were left in the wood. Now if somebody got up close to him, at least he wouldn't be defenseless

Kronos decided that the next skill he would learn would be carapace shield. This way, if he was going up against somebody trainee to novice rank in a fight, no straightforward hit could touch him. He set the book down, as this next skill required both arms.

Kronos then felt inside his energy well, and funneled some energy into his carapace arms. He could feel them getting slowly heavier. Once they were heavy enough, he attempted the skill.

Kronos slammed his arms together, trying to make the energy burst out. It then made his arms expand, and he crouched. His entire front was covered by a shield capable of stopping B ranked attacks and below.

Kronos got up from his crouched position. "There, I think i'm done with all of my skills. Being a dreadnought I can't really learn any other elemental skills." He said simply to Elizabeth. He then reverted from carapace form to human form, so as not to leave another carapace shell on the floor by shedding it.

Kronos nodded, taking the note. "I'll be back as soon as I can." The man said, putting the terror ammo he had forgotten about in his pocket and walking out of the training facility. He put the books into his backpack for future reference, in case he wanted to train without having to come back here every single time.
