Seaclan " Right, thank you." Sandstripe called out from behind a towering tree as he heard the sweet tone of Kindsoul. The tree still stands strong. Inferring from the tough bark. It's dark, rough surface had not been affected by the earthquake. He moved his paw slowly on it from up to down. Only then had he noticed a small bit of Marigold. He stepped back a fox-length, noticing he had stood on a small bit of it." Oh, why? We could have used it." He scolded himself for the mistake." I found a few clumps here. We have a good amount of Marigold here." He gently harvested it and trotted back to the spotted she-cat." I think all we need is rushes and cobwebs." Sandstripe mumbled through the herbs. He had hoped Kindsoul could understand the impaired sentence.
" I think I'll can look for the rushes." He continued, dropping the prized herbs gently to the ground. He looked around the area around the herbs, surveying and remembering the area to get the marigold later. No other creature other than us need it, right? Do we need to protect it? Deciding to leave the herbs, but not to far, he began to scan for rushes. In his herb gathering, he had injured his front leg, not severely. It had twisted in an odd angle when Sandstripe was padding around, and had accidentally stepped into a rabbit hole." Starclan, why do you have to make my job harder?" He gritted through his teeth. Suck it up, Sandstripe. You're not dying. Sighing, he resumed his scavenge hunt for herb, and somehow found some rushes. A few of the rushes had been crushed by rocks, but mainly, they were in good condition to use." I take back what I said, Thank you Starclan." He prayed again to his ancestors. He tugged the rushes and could taste a grassy scent. He scrunched his nose at the taste. Yuck, it has such a detestable smell for me. He slowly walked back to the established location of the marigold and added the rushes to the pile. Sandstripe sat down, the injured left back paw ached even more and throbbed. Carefully, he discretely hid it underneath his tail as he waited for Kindsoul to return.

:｡✿*ﾟ‘ﾟ･✿.｡.:*.:｡✿*ﾟ’ﾟ･✿.｡ Kindsoul dipped her head, accepting his thanks. "Good find!" She said happily once Sandstripe dropped the pile of Marigold on the ground. "Alright, I'll find some Cobwebs." She called, then vanished into the bushes. After looking around she didn't find any, all she found was some more Marigold. She gathered a bit of it, because she figured she had to bring back something, but she was discouraged. Especially when she got back to Sandstripe, and saw he'd also managed to find the Rushes. "Sorry Sandstripe." She spoke, placing her marigold on the pile. "I didn't find any Cobwebs." She sat down looking at the pile. It was a shame too, they really could have used some Cobwebs at a time like this! :｡✿*ﾟ‘ﾟ･✿.｡.:*.:｡✿*ﾟ’ﾟ･✿.｡

Seaclan Sandstripe, the lonely tabby tom, observed the sweet nature around him. It felt quite presumptuousness to subsist by himself every now and so often, just to inhale nature's dispensation of freedom. No worries about prey, or herb hunting, or kits running amok, or elders to feed. It was almost so serene, he almost dozed off as he continued taking deep breaths with his eyes closed. Serene... Serenepaw. He couldn't help but think of the small medicine cat apprentice. Stop it mousebrain! She's training to be the medicine cat, one who very well could save your life. And it's not allowed. The warrior code Different aspects and perspectives of her floated around, pulsing in his head." No, no, I think I've spent too much time thinking about these pesky silly matters." Whispering so low, he himself couldn't hear physically. Sandstripe stood up, and moved his right back foot in order to stretch. He winced at it initially but continued to walk as normally as possible.
A brief time period had moved, and the she-cat Kindsoul appeared, with some marigold in her jaw. He tilted his head for a second, if there was another patch she had found." Not your fault," Sandstripe had started." Give it some time." Sandstripe trotted on to his pile, leaning on his good side." I think the best thing to do is return to camp. The other two could have possibly found some cobwebs by the river." Picking up the herbs and continuing on his sentence, he meowed between occupied teeth:" Let's go." The sandy tom kept at a rather slow pace towards the direction of the ruined camp.

She braced herself for seeing it again, it may not be rebuilt by much. She tried to banish the imagine of the camp before the earthquake from her mind, because it would not like that for a long time yet, if ever again. :｡✿*ﾟ‘ﾟ･✿.｡.:*.:｡✿*ﾟ’ﾟ･✿.｡
