Joining Lily at the pools side, he kicked his legs gently under the water. "Indeed, you couldn't." He wouldn't be separated form one of his passions. He loved them far too much. "I unfortunately don't have the money to build a green house, or I would do so. But you are right, and if he ate some of them he wouldn't survive or if he did you'd have a large vet bill." It wasn't something which was avoidable. Their were so many plants which were poisonous, it was hard to avoid if not impossible.
"Maybe, maybe when I'm older - graduated. Maybe then I'd open a nursery of my own. I have not given thought to what I'll do after college. I just want to make money, like my mother and father." To live the cushy life he was accustomed to, but he would be earning it finally.
"You sold me on mountain cabin. I'd love to go, I've yet to go as you know." He stated, rolling his slate colored eyes. The only problem would be spiders and blood sucking mosquitoes. But if she'd be sending people up he should be safe, he did not need to encounter a spider while in front of people he didn't know. That would truly be embarrassing.
"You promise they'll kill any spiders that could be in the cabin?" And he'd go, and discover the plants there, bring some home of course, he'd have to bring Lily with him so he had someone in case there was a spider sighting. Alex was tempted, highly tempted, to ask about going up there in the winter, the idea of a cabin and snow and woods, it was appealing to the teen.
Finally eh couldn't help himself. "Maybe a repeat trip, but in the winter? Christmas vacation?"

Lily frowned not wanted to be reminded that Eamon' could eat something poisonous. She knew that, but she also knew Alex would be super careful not to let it happen, beside Lily's personal garden wasn't going to have anything poisonous and Eamon' was to lazy to really mess with anything. It was really the the companion she planned to get for him that she needed to worry about.
"Well you know my father will want to invest in your nursery, you know how he is, wishes the best for us and wants us to do well in our futures. You are included in the us, since you've been around for so long. You have to promise one thing though," she said pausing for a second, "promise I get to help you cut the ribbon."
Lily laughed happy her bribing worked even though technically it wasn't really needed. "Don't worry, they all be gone before we get their. So far I think Nate, Chris, Paris and You will be coming." Lily frowned for moment realizing that meant all boys aside from herself. She need to check with the girls again to see who you be coming.
"They are a few of my new and old friends. I also plan to invite Aurora, Jaimie and possibly Zia, if they all agree."
Lily shivered slightly, "I don't think I should turn the water temperature up, so how about we go warm up in the garden."

It wasn't that he wanted to upset Lily, by reminding her of how easily an animal could eat a poisonous plant, but it was something to think about - thus it was mentioned. It was best to take everything in to account, his plants included.
"Yeah..." Breathing out the word, his head tilting back as he thought, a small smile playing across his features. "We have known each other so long. Your father's too nice, but I'm not surprised." Laughing softly he lowered his head to look at Lily. "If I do ever decide to start a business dealing with plants you'll be right at my side." And of course she'd be cutting the ribbon, he wouldn't have it any other way to be honest.
Listening to who would be coming he nodded his head. Most of those names he didn't know, or only knew from hearing Lily mention them. "Sounds good. It'll be a good time in the mountains." There was no doubt about that, it would be a good time. Mountains and plants, and time to just relax. "I'll have to do some shopping for the trip." Of curse he would, and he'd bring Lily with him of course.
Nodding his head he slowly pulled himself up and out of the pool. "Let's go warm up then. We don't need blue lips, and chattering teeth."

Lily gave a huge smile as she climbed out of the pool heading over to the stand to get a towel, "Yes, because we will be friends for always. So that means when I become famous you will have to come on tour with me at some point," she said knowing in her heart that one day she would be a star.
Lily dried herself quickly, but not thoroughly as they were headed back out into the heat, across the grass to the garden which was up around the house and off the side of the house. "Yes, we will have so much fun and I bet everyone else will love you. You can help keep them away from poisonous things and we can swim in the river and star gaze. I am rather excited. We can go shopping next week or so, okay?"
She tossed the towel in the towel bin for the laundry and looked to Alex, "Come on then." With that she turned and skipped out the pool house, breaking into a run headed for the garden when she broke into the sunshine. "Race you," she called out to Alex.

"When that happens I doubt you'll be able to get rid of me for long. I'll have to spend some time here, doing whatever I choose to. But other wise I'll be at your side, like a leech." He spoke, smirking at the red head. Grabbing his own towel, to wrap about his waist, letting his hair drip down his back and his face.
"That sounds good, I'll have to get some shoes better suited to walking about in such terrain." Which meant a show store, not a designer store where he got sneakers just for show as opposed to functionality. "Star gazing will be nice, and I'll take your word for it; about getting on with the others." He said, thinking about laying out, no city lights around, and all the stars he could see. He knew the city lights made it hard to see any stars, they really should do something to cut down on that.
Ripping the towel off, he hadn't really used it to dry off, he ran off after the other. "You got a head start." Taking off after her, out of the pool house. "That wasn't fair." He shouted after her.
When they did make it to their destination it seemed he wasn't lucky enough to find a wandering jew here. It looked like they'd be arranging for two shopping trips before next weeks end. Not that it was a bad idea. He'd also be buying candles, a lot of them, for the trip. They'd have a lot of candle light around rather than electric lights. Soon, soon he'd meet Lily's other friends and see what other people she claimed as her friends. Surely they wouldn't be that bad.
