The woman was lovely and such a pretty woman deserved flowers and more flowers and flowers and shinies. Of course that was the way of things. She was quite pure white and it was only natural to want to gift her. "A pretty flower deserves to be next to other pretty flowers, though you do blow them all away. " Ah.... Flattery....
And he wasn't wooing her at all. He was just playing and having a good time. With a warm laugh he followed her back onto the bank, shaking out the water in his coat once it came up to his elbow. He smiled back at Gene and chuckled. "You sound like ou have a rather full day indeed. Adventures are always fun. Find any you really enjoyed? "
As she asked what he did on his free time, he laughed and nossed around in the reeds to find one of those pretty waterflowers for her. "I pretty much roam the hills and plot harmless pranks, meet pretty damsels, and what not... Nothing terribly exciting..aside from rolling in dirt and splashing in water. "

Genevieve smiled genuinly towards Zeddler, though she agree'd to nothing that he had said. Her eyes looked to the water that was up to her chest, before responding to the stallions kindness. Her voice was calm and a little more quiet than it had started, "Such kind words you have Zeddler." She giggled to him, moving her hooves around the water to get more of a feel for it.
As they were both out, her white body dripped with small water dropplets. she smiled slightly at the sight, she more than likely looked like a mess. She shrugged her shoulders humbly, "None that are worth the story." She giggled, letting her thoughts go. She flicked her ear, then shook off the water clinging to her, "Though, I heard of a pirate stallion coming to the lands!" This was true, she had over heard some other horses talking about his blood red fur not to long ago.
Genevieve laughed quietly, "So you woo all the mares that get your attention?" She was only playing, since he had such a good sense of humor. She poked him, laughing, "You will have to teach me some pranks! I wish I could be that creative to do my own, but I have a simple mind you see." Again she was joking, she wasn't as plain jane as everyone suited her to be.

Zed just smiled at the flattered female. What else could he do? Well he could get all romantic with her, but that just wasn't what he was looking for right now, and hardly thought it was appropriate at the time. After all, there are far many --probably better- stallions in the sea for her to pick.
And what was this about a pirate? He tilted his head to the side and studied her, mind slowly lost in thought as he processed this new news. "A pirate you say? Did he fly in on an airship or on one of those old frigates? " Sadly, he didn't believe her that a pirate would just walk onto the land all willy-nilly without some sort of call to arms from the whatever guy that was in charge here. King! Yeah.. That king person man human guy. "Odd rumor. I haven't heard of a pirate on the shore until now. Guess I'll have to go inspect him then and keep such a nasty scallywag away from a fair doe . "
That crooked grin of his fell and he appeared to be shocked to the very core... Not really, he then snorted and shrugged. "Pranks are only as good as the person being pranked. And I hardly think your mind is simple. It's probably better suited than mine for many other tasks. Like.... running into flatterers. " He gave her a playful bump on the shoulder with his nose.
