Looking over to another video screen Ichimaru had much anticipation to see more of these incredible and very visual combat experiences. “I swear I’m going to know so much about these people it’s going to be unreal….I mean up until after the exams that is of course; however, taking personal notes is always a good thing, especially to really get to know the out of combat aspect of knowing how people work in combat.” Ichimaru looked as Hatsuma Kidomaru shifted a big object around on her back as she continued on until meeting the side of the proctor in which was hidden beneath shinobi gear and of course a mask as usual. “To weed out those too weak to be considered chuunin…” Ichimaru spoke out under a small hint of his breath. He couldn’t help but feel as if the proctor was right. Disgracing ones village was not only a mockery of the power it held but also meant he himself was too weak to manage any such thing as a real fight. His hyper mood now gone as he continued to watch the screen his Sharingan viewed over the two contestants as they both greeted one another with just a simple look, both were female so he wasn’t expecting them to throw out anything that wasn’t related towards the battle. Women were kind of like that in a sense… going after one thing no matter how bullheaded they were. “Hmm seems like it’s a b***h fight…. I wonder which b***h is going to win…oh well I guess I’ll see the first half of it and determine myself which one is going to win, Hatsuma Kidomaru or Meitsu Kayguya. Say I think Meitsu was on my team…Ah yes I did say that and it’s true… wow…So that’s what she looks like…I had totally forgot… I guess I’m not too into these exam ladies… I’m personally more of a whore type of guy… I’m sure my babe would agree… no matter, Meitsu is well enough on her own, didn’t need any help getting across the pit…in which I failed so many times because of Takera.” Ichimaru sighed momentarily before making an angry sobbing face at the fact that his own teammate would accuse him let alone stall him for no apparent reason. Suddenly as the proctor stated go, Meitsu was the first to bolt out as she quickly hasted herself and formed several hand seals. It was as this point Ichimaru viewed at a closer more tactical aspect of the jutsu she was using and caught wind of the intentional muse of her technique. “Interesting Meitsu, so you’ve developed a technique that looks appears to be a poorly made jutsu and yet it does more than what meets the eye… intriguing indeed. I wonder how Hatsuma Kidomaru is going to handle this, will she fall for the jutsu or will she recover and make an attempt at you.” Watching Hatsuma kidomaru’s reaction to the offense, Ichimaru dually noted upon her reactive speed in which blocking Meitsu kaguya’s attack with that of a sand based defense technique. Then unexpectedly a reaction happened between the offense and defense as the defense quickly maneuvered it’s self into an attack causing several sand like spears to shoot back towards Meitsu kaguya’s body. Ichimaru was impressed by the jutsu and was surely to take notes upon it. “Interesting Hatsuma Kidomaru, very interesting…you channeled Meitsu Kaguya’s offense into your Defense and then shot it straight back in her face…this will certainly be an interesting, yet strategic fight.” On the next action taken Hatsuma took the offense and was quick on her hand seals as she continued what seemed to be a jutsu; however, when there wasn’t an immediate effect to be visibly shown Ichimaru noted upon a genjutsu being used. “So it’s a Genjutsu Hatsuma Kidomaru is using, I wonder what type of technique this is...” Peering closer with his Sharingan Ichimaru saw through it as he smirked soundly. “Hatsuma Kidomaru of the desert seems like you’ve got Desert fever on your mind.” He chuckled lightly as he took note of her technique style for later use if need be, in all curiosity he wanted to know what was on her back, it was shaped like a weapon of some sort but wasn’t too sure considering it was all wrapped up in cloth. He was sure it would come out eventually. “This fight isn’t going to be as intense as Kyuzaki Hoshigaki and Jikku’s; however, I’m still interested in seeing who wins this match up…I suppose I’ll browse a little more for some excitement and follow back when more things happen.”

Ichimaru looked rudely at the live feed of Takera’s combat arena. It seemed Takera was nervous about the arena he was in as he seemed he wasn’t used to the wind being so strong, of course Ichimaru was sure the young masked boy was used to windy weather; however just went with the idea of him being slightly on edge when it came to the battle arena. “And I can’t believe he got a grip on me in battle…it seems as if everyone is getting me in bad moments of combat…I wonder who threw out my luck…Damn it..” He looked down at the screen and flicked it with his middle finger hitting Takera in the face Television wise. He couldn’t help but think back to the second exam and how the boy ignorantly assumed something of him after he was completely honest with him except for the fact of who he really was. Finally catching glimpse of Aya Hyuuga Ichimaru perked up slightly as he couldn’t help but feel an attraction to her, she was young but beautiful none the less. As he continued to watch her walk through the winds her hair got blown from place to place as she finally tied it down after standing in place for the fight, it was then that he noticed she would indeed put up a good fight for the boy named Takera. “She’s got really good posture and she’s significantly smaller than Takera which could give a possible speed advantage not to mention her appearances may just throw him off in general for being a girl. Takera you’ve got a feisty kick a** girl on your hands, I’d watch her closely; otherwise, you might just end up taking the bench for good…” He chuckled noticing the look upon Takera’s face when he saw he was fighting a girl of all things. It was hilarious indeed; however, Ichimaru would never put anything past a woman who had the full desire to win in a competition, they were like piranhas towards flesh at times. Then he seen the gullible look upon Takera’s face as Aya had gotten closer to him, drunk off beauty it seemed. “Oh so you do find her attractive just like I do…too bad you won’t notice her swiftness until after she beats you to a pulp.” Two sets of speakers boomed loudly as an annoying voice seemed to proctor the fight; however, it seemed as if it were a fluke of some kind. Suddenly a chuunin exam proctor appeared and thus started the match with a simple “Begin!” notice. Surprisingly Takera wasted no time in buffing himself as he clearly took the initiative of combat. He brought forth a small amount of clones and quickly dispersed them amongst the area in which some went straight for Aya and some went on either side of her. Something was unique about Takera though, it seemed he had the ability to create Ice, this was most likely a Kekkei Genkei that he’d probably heard of but didn’t take the time to full understand what it was that the bloodline did; however, continuing to watch He could clearly see the slight advantages in which Takera was taking upon himself. Attacking from three directions would confuse Aya and none the less provide an opening somewhere along the lines of her defense. “So you’re going to attack her with what appears to be a Taijutsu based offense by the way your movements read, sliding forward to kick her feet from out from under her while one of your clones attempt to strike her clearly head on, and finally the two clones dropping in form above with chopping sky kicks. Takera you are indeed a mutli-versed type of shinobi we’ll just have to see what Aya does to counter your offense.” Within seconds he obtained his answer. Watching closely as his eyes shifted back and forth between the two of them he set his sight upon Aya the Kunoichi of the two. Aya sadly wasn’t much on the defense as she tried to dodge with what she could do in a rational point of time; however she had managed to protect herself some with what seemed to be much like insects if he saw what he saw correctly. “Interesting, surely that is something that interests me indeed.” He chuckled slightly as he sighed and continued to watch the fight unfold before him. Finally Aya shifted her weight and moved away from Takera. She moved quickly due to the wind current picking her up and sweeping her backwards a bit thus she gained space between her and Takera. She held her ground as that first attack caught her off guard; however, Ichimaru was sure she would take the offensive and get back at him. Laughing at the comment she made toward Takera, Ichimaru couldn’t help but make a remark to himself. “He’s probably pissing in his pants for attacking you… knowing him just by teaming up with him, I would think he didn’t want to fight with you at all; however, these are the exams and thus it must happen otherwise he won’t obtain that in which he’s seeking like the wholesome of us all.” Suddenly out of nowhere Aya was on the offense with a huge swarm of bugs, they were going to consume the clones most likely and thus try to find a weak spot of Takeras. Takera would have a hard time defending off a hoard of insects; the Aburame clan was known for their destruction bugs for one reason and one reason only, anything their bugs latched on to became food for them, whether it was to steal a person’s chakra or if it were to remove their ability in combat all together, this would surely be an interesting fight. “Well that looks like all I can watch for now, seems like the others haven’t begun much less entered their arena’s ….. I guess I’ll sit here and relax now then.”

Nova walked into the room that had contained many seats and a screen with names on it."Those must be the people in the tourny." He said smiling. He noticed all the people as well. He looked over to see something that seemed like a coffin. It interested Nova but he continued on to sit in the chair and think to himself. "One day ill be here doing the same thing. That day will be the day that i realize what potential i truly have." Impatient he stood up and began to walk over to get a drink of water. He picked up a paper cup and poured the crystal clear water into the cup. He slowly poured the water into his body feeling life pour into him. He turned back around and scanned the room again seeing a darker skied person next to the coffin. He began to walk back to his seat keeping his eyes on the person. He wasn't sure why but the boy interested him, something about the boy was mysterious to Nova. Taking his seat the let his eyes wonder back to the screen to watch the fights.

Notwen had been examining the tournament via the screen on the head rest of the back of the seat in front of him. Some of the fights had begun to get underway. It seemed Kyu was fighting a member of the Hyuuga clan named Jikku in a foggy terrain while Hatsuma was fighting a member of the Kaguya clan named Meitsu in a plain terrain with no additions. The shark-boy was fighting in section A while spider-girl was in Notwen's section. Looking at the first section of the tournament bracket, the dark-skinned blonde was displeased to see that the second match of the tournament had ended in a double disqualification due to both contestants, Kira Moto and Hibiki Inuzuka, not showing up. At least whoever wins the first fight will have a clear path to the finals, thought Notwen, examining the path the tournament would take after the quarter finals. but that might not be a good thing due to the fact that whoever it is missed the opportunity to fight another person along the way and adapt to that power level. At that moment the crippled Uchiha noticed a trend in the second section. There were three Uchiha members other than himself, one being Ichimaru, who he had just defeated. This tournament is going to be a mess.
A young boy entered the VIP area. He was at least academy graduate age and seemed very out of place in the room. Notwen watched him from the corner of his eye. The kid seemed really interested in Novvus' case, but as long as he didn't attempt anything that would cause alarm it was fine. After the new boy got a cup of water he stared at the dark-skinned blonde for a bit before sitting down by himself at the far end. Let me break the ice... The crippled Uchiha got up and walked over to the boy. "Hi, I'm Notwen Uchiha. Are you here for the tournament or are you just spectating?" he asked, offering his hand for the boy to shake.

Nova stood up to show respect to the dark skinned blond hair boy, his hand shaking Notwen's. "Hello my name is Nova Naru, it is nice to meet you and i am here straight out of the academy. They said that for graduating we could come to see what we could become and to see what there is for us to look forward to." He smiled with his nerves starting to settle. He was surprised to have someone out of all the people in the room would walk over to him and offer to hold a conversation. "So what exactly is in the Coffin?" He asked hoping not to offend him. everything about the celebration was a bit overwhelming for Nova but he began to feel comfortable as he stood talking with Notwen. Nova then realized that Notwen was the 1st mach that came to a conclusion. Shocked he pulled his hand back knowing that he was shaking the hand of someone who was able to become a really good shinobi for the little time he had been given to harness his skills. "It's an honor to meet you i should say becoming a shinobi who could become a squad leader after only a short time." then he noticed the missing arm of Notwen. "What happened to your arm if you don't mind me asking?" He asked in a very interested tone.

The boy stood up and introduced himself as Nova Naru, shaking Notwen's hand. He went on to state that he was fresh out of the academy and that as a graduation treat the teachers organized a trip to the Chuunin exams. Hmm... that was nice of them. thought the crippled Uchiha. Giving the younger guys an opportunity to see what to expect in their futures. Nova inquired about the contents of Novvus' box by calling it a coffin, causing Notwen to laugh. "It's not a coffin, it's my puppet's carrying case." said the dark-skinned blonde. "Aren't you a little too young to be making such morbid comments?" he asked after answering the boy's question. It was then that he noticed Nova was still shaking his hand, but apparently the young graduate did as well because he let go and pulled his hand back. Then Nova went on to say that it was an honor to meet him, adding that the crippled Uchiha had the potential to become a squad leader. Notwen's cheeks flushed. He was a sucker for compliments and praise, which is why he usually didn't try to garner it from others. Praises caused him to lose concentration, and constant concentration was something he needed to function at a hundred percent. "You know, that's something i hadn't really thought about." The dark-skinned blonde had been so focused on passing the exams that he had not put much thought into what he'd be doing once he became a Chuunin, IF he became a Chuunin. It was when Notwen was lost in his train of thought when Nova brought up his missing arm. The crippled Uchiha looked at the place where his shoulder would meet his body with a mix of sadness and acceptance. "I lost it in a fight some time ago, against a man whose power mine by a landslide." he said. Because of that incident Notwen had been able to grow in a completely unexpected way and had also made new friends and been given a new life.

Nova smiled when he heard that the box was actually a puppet case. "So that means that you are a puppeteer then right? and if so that means you must have incredible chakra control because for you to be able to control it with only a single are is amazing." He said with excitement in his voice. He was becoming like what he wanted to leave behind him, even though it seemed like it was getting him to make a new friend."Notwen one day i can help you in a way that will change the way you live, and by that i mean in a good way. Altho i do plan on becoming a very strong shinobi one day and i also have some plans to set up a few things when i get strong enough. " He said thinking of some sneaky and illusive ways to get a team together. "One day i will be able to reasemble a new set of swordsmen" He thought to himself as he took his seat. "Why don't you sit next to me and we can talk about your fight and the others that are going on now." He said as he patted the seat next to him to gesture to sit down. He was very interested in this new person and wanted to get to know him better in case he turned out to be a worthy ally.

"That i am." replied Notwen when Nova put together that he was a puppeteer. "You can also say that my chakra control is at a high level. Controlling a puppet with one hand is said to be a little more difficult, but i lost my arm before i took up puppets so i don't really know the difference." The young graduate seemed to be really excited about speaking with the dark-skinned blonde, and the more he thought about it Notwen saw this conversation becoming more and more like some sort of interview. Then the boy caught him off guard with a comment about making a change his lifestyle. Okay, that was awkward. he thought. Let me just act like i didn't hear that. What caught Notwen's interest again was the fact that Nova had aspirations for his future. Hmm... This kid is a little odd, but really interesting at the same time. he thought. Nova asked him to sit next to him so they could continue their conversation. "Sure." Notwen went back to where he had left Novvus in his carrying case and brought it over to where Nova now sat. "I have a question." said the crippled Uchiha, sitting next to the black-haired boy. "What do you aspire to be?"

"That's a simple answer." Nova said as he smiled letting his head raise towards the ceiling and laying back in his seat. "What i truly want to be is simply the greatest shinobi i can be." He knew exactly what he meant with the simple statement. He really wanted to go into details but didn't feel like there was a need to explain his master plan quite yet, he wasn't quite strong enough to defend himself if someone tried to attack him for the intentions he had. "But anyways so how'd you feel if you won this whole tourny? I mean you must be happy that your the best in the village right?" He asked attempting to return to the less suspicious person who was over excited to be there, but he failed falling into a focused state where he only had his goal in mind. He focused on the training from when he was a kid and all the swordsmanship he had acquired. "The real thing I aspire to is to assemble a new set of legendary swords." He said to himself thinking of the question that Notwen had asked him.

Notwen watched Nova smile and look up toward the ceiling when he asked the question, and the boy's answer impressed the dark-skinned blonde. Nova wanted to be the best shinobi he could be. It was an honest endeavor and it seemed like he was telling the truth. "Good to hear." said Notwen, smiling as well. His attention got pulled to the screens momentarily. Some of the fights had begun in earnest [Fight descriptions will go here.] Nova's next question brought the crippled Uchiha's attention back. "Well," he started. "I guess i would feel proud of my accomplishment. And no i am not the best shinobi of this country. I'm not even close. There's Lord Raikage himself at the top of the ladder. Then a few rungs down is my mentor, General Rai Oh of the Eastern Militia. Then there are other Jounin and Chuunin above me in experience. It's really flattering that you hold me in such high regard, but do remember that i am just a regular Genin. I am your equal in rank, just a little more experienced." The dark-skinned blonde hoped that his words would instill some sense into the rookie. I don't know why he holds me to such a high regard, but he should know better than to forget about reality. Nova then said that his real aspiration was to assemble a new set of legendary swords. "Whoa! Now that's what i call dreaming big!" said Notwen with a chuckle. "Where are you going to find the swordsmen to wield them?"

"Do you want the honest answer" He chuckled looking back down to Notwen. "The truth about the swordsmen is that i have no idea...but i do have some background of some sword fighting." He said smiling. The idea of him being a leader of a group of shinobi that could help the weak or whoever paid more. "I honestly never told anyone this before but i would like it if this could stay between the two of us." He wasn't sure how trustworthy Notwen was but he felt like he wasn't the type of person to go and spread his secret. "I understand that we may be the same rank as of right now Notwen but there is in no way that my skills are anywhere close to yours. I know that i am weak right now but i will become strong and i will go through with my plans and no one will stop me." He said in a cold tone. He stood up and walked over to get another cup of water and sat back down. He somehow felt different and more of an equal to Notwen then a simple genin. "I didn't mean to offend you if i did in anyway, I am just use to just being an academy student and not really being respected as a ninja." He laughed as he took the glass and placed it to his lips to letting the refreshing drink go down his thirsty body.

Musica whistled as the first fight ended, resulting in Notwen's victory. "That didn't really last long," He thought aloud, taking sip of his drink. The small glass was emptied of it's contents as the boy continued to watct the television for Ichimaru versus Notwen. "With all that big talk, many of us in the audience would have figured that a better fight would have shown up." Musica placed the glass down on a nearby table, where one of the many waiters came over and took it up. Musica nodded his head in thanks, and then crossed his arms over his chest and closed his eyes, continuing to talk to himself. "Granted, it was two on one, and the team work between Notwen and his summon went like clock work. Coupled with the extreme conditions, one could understand how the fight could be so short." The ninja sighed and shook his head as he raised his shoulders in a shrug. "Though it was a tad disappointing, after all of the trash talk Ichimaru had done. Maybe the other fights will be better, folks." Musica thought back, recapping the final moments of the fight. "First, Notwen froze the already arctic arena, even though he knew Ichimaru would be able to thaw the ice from his body using his Lightning elemental chakra." Musica looked up and tapped his chin with his forefinger. "I guess Ichimaru couldn't move while he was doing that? If that's the case, Notwen's summon had a great maneuver with the timing of the tidal wave. What a team. I can't wait to see what they put forth in the up coming rounds. Hmmm. What's this?" The boy watched as the, still steaming, path that the tidal wave melted rapidly filled up with more snow until there was no indication that any of it had melted. "Amazing! The arena is now back to normal, as if the fight hand't even happened. Damn, it makes me wonder how bad the conditions of all of the arenas are." He paused, seeing that a few of the other VIP guests were watching him like they would an animal in the zoo. Musica's eyebrow twitched as he gave them a level look. "What d'you want?" He growled as he turned half way to face them, his red hair casting a dark shadow over his blue eyes. "Can't a man talk to himself in privacy?" The guests flinched a little, taken aback that someone would talk to them that way. The nerve kids this days. They turned and started talking amongst themselves, bery pointedly ignoring Musica. The boy kept his gaze on them for a second longer and let out an obnoxious burp, intending the antagonize the small group further.
Musica turned to face the screen again, but was distracted by movement in front of the group A screens. There stood Ichimaru, jumping from screen to screen, poiting to the glass and muttering to himself. "Oh, god. It's contagious." Musica muttered as Ichimaru walked away. "Kid sure does move with a spring in his step. Like a hyperactive kid of crack, he is. If I didn't know any better, I wouldn't have thought he had just lost." Musica rested one hand on his hip adn went to the other televisions. "But what was that about Kira being disqualified?" He bent down and looked at the screen that had his partner's name listed. "Oh, I'm sure he'll be fine." He sighed and looked around with a blank expression. Various couples had started a small dance group down by the band, who had started to play a swing number. But, as he continued to look around, Musica noticed that Notwen was sitting nearby, chatting with some kid that Musica didn't regognize. "There must be something in the water here. These people heal fast." He muttered as he walked over to the couple. By the time Musica got close enough to introduce himself, the kid he didn't know mentioned something about disrespect. I can sympathize with that. Musica thought as he took a small bit of food from his platter and stuffed it into his mouth, his expression somewhat grave. WHen he was certain that both were done talking for a second, Musica's expression quickly changed to that of a huge grin as he addressed the Lightning Genin. "Notwen!" he exclaimed as he held out his hand for him to shake. "Very nice job in your fight there. Exceelent team work ywith your summon, I must admit."

Nova admitted that he didn't know about his swordsmen, but he had some experience in sword fighting. Notwen nodded. Even he had gotten some sword training back when he was in Wind Country, but he didn't study up on it immensely. The young graduate then asked if he could keep this information secret. "Sure. Every man is entitled to his secrets, and yours is safe with me." said the dark-skinned boy, joining his forefinger and thumb at the tip, then drawing them across his lips as if he were zipping them shut. Nova's next statement made Notwen think for a few seconds. There's something up with this kid. he thought, trying his hardest not to laugh. How can you go from being happy and laughing one moment to downright cold the next? Then he remembered reading a book on Rose's shelf about diseases of the mind and recalled Bipolar Disorder. Hmm.. he just might be... The dark-skinned blonde did not respond to the mentally disturbed boy so the latter took the opportunity to l apologize for having offended Notwen with his prior comment about him being the strongest. Back to laughing again are we? he thought as Nova started laughing again. "No offense taken. By the way you are a Genin now, so you can get out of that academy student way of thinking." A few seconds later a guy with red, shaggy hair shouted his name and held out his hand to be shook. Notwen shook the boy's hand and noticed that it had a musical symbol tattooed on it. "Thank you for the compliments." he replied with a smile. "I couldn't have done it without him. Nice to meet you by the way. You are?" he asked politely, releasing the boy's hand after shaking it firmly a few times.

Nova sat in the soft chair comfortable but had a lot going through his head. The world seemed to just go away as he thought to himself about the past where he was now and what he wanted to accomplish with his life. He soon began to see him as a kid in his mind back before anything had happened, he was alone in a dark alleyway wind blowing. At the end of the alleyway there was a wooden door with a knob made of gold. He approached the door with extreme caution not knowing what was behind it. A very cold chill crept down Nova' spine and wind blew hard down the long alleyway, a feeling of uncertainty began to infiltrate his thoughts like poison from a snake bite. "Why am i so nervious and what is this feeling? Why does it feel like fear? It is only a door right?" he thought as he let his feet place themselves on in front of the other till he reached the door. He reached his hand out towards the golden handle slowly, hand shaking the whole time. He placed his quivering hand upon the cold handle and twisted.
Nova snapped out of the day dream to hear Notwen talking to a boy with red hair, they were shaking hands. He felt like he wasn't in place but the words that Notwen had said to him gave him confidence to speak up. "Hello My name is Nova Naru" He said confidently without any type of emotion in his voice. He extended his hand to show that he wasn't afraid to show his presence in the room.

Ichimaru’s eyes stayed glued to the television before him as he watched Kyuzaku Hoshigaki quickly bend his legs at the knee’s just before he backspaced away from his opponent Jikku. ”Come on Kyuzaku! You’ve got this damn Iwagakure Shinobi! ” Ichimaru could believe the intense physical battle that was unloading before him, Jikku still had the nerve to stay mentally calm as Kyuzaku Hoshigaki quickly deflected the middle of three kunai to place himself on either wise of the two Kunai thus allowing him to maneuver between them. Suddenly a ninjutsu was made by Kyuzaku as a set of boots appeared upon the taijutsu specialist. Once the jutsu was made it created a device like object made of ice that allowed him to reverse in a quickened motion. ”That’s amazing! He created Ice boots in which could help him dodge on coming attacks!” As the Fish Genin quickly set down upon a top of a rock He called down upon his opponent and quickly took note of the Hyuuga styled technique in which Jikku had been using. Ichimaru couldn’t hold back the intensity of the battle as he gripped the screen and continued to watch in nervousness. The small talk was just boring the action in which he was witnessing was the real inspiration for his fierce reaction towards the battle. ”Nothing is holding you back! Why would you continue to toy with him, win the battle! You baka! Graaah! I can’t stand it why did I have to lose in the first round…. ********> As they continued to spar between one another traps and the sorts were set off as both opponents easily dodged them and or deflected them with their weapons at hand. Suddenly the tides changed as Kyuzaku activated what looked like a bloodline limit technique, it was intense and no doubt something to look into. ”what the ******** is that called? I’ve never seen so much damn Ice in my life… ” Gripping the television harder he was seduced by the amount of action in which this fight had been within and thus he had made up his mind that he wanted to fight this person with a desire of no other. ”Kyuzaku Hoshigaki you better rip this guy a new ******** muscle otherwise I’m going to be so disappointed!” as Kyuzaku Hoshigaki disappeared within what looked to be like Ice Mirrors Jikku began the waiting game as he couldn’t do much else except wait for the chance to counter his opponents attacks, possibly wounding him to some extent to break the Ninjutsu.
