It was a true enough statement. It had likely been luck alone that had gotten Bimini away from Ilmenite.. certainly from Painite and a handful of monsters. He couldn't rely on luck for much longer.
Ewww, hospital. It really was the last place he wanted to go. The idea kind of made him want to hide away in his house all day... His eyes turned back to the red rag noticing the change in color and wetness however and he frowned a little. It was probably his fault that the guy was injured more. His little impromptu training session. If he had had even a half assed first aid kit back at his home he would have offered. But alas it wasn't the case.
He would try to go, atleast once if nothing else. He felt like he owed it to the other page even though.. technically he supposed he was causing him more work.
"Thanks again. I promise I'll practice some"
"Do you need a lookout for the walk?" He asked lightly. Though his mind was playing 'please say no' on repeat.

"Nah, dude, no offense but I think it would be easier not having to look out for anyone else. Just make sure you get home safely by yourself, okay?" Gehenna rolled his shoulders in a shrug and picked up the trash can that he had almost completely destroyed with dents and dings by that point. He flipped it over and set it lightly down on the street corner, getting it out of the way of any cars that might have sped through the place. At least he was kind of considerate.
He turned and was partially down the sidewalk already before he stopped and threw a glance over his shoulder at the Bimini Page.
"Keep your head up, alright? This s**t gets easier, it's in our blood." He nodded at himself, confident in his inspirational one-liner, and turned his head back in the direction he was walking. Ghen had never been a comforting person but after his talk with Lina, he knew the importance of sticking together. So he would try.
He wasn't going to baby anyone though and when Ghen was finally turning the corner and heading for the main road that would take him to DCM, he didn't even look back. He might give Bimini the floaties to keep his head above the water, but he intended for the Page to learn how to swim on his own.
