Europpa paused and backtracked, suddenly worried she'd been pushing too hard on the rookie scout. Not everyone was ready to leap head first into quick and dirty space travel, and she supposed the older scouts had had it easier in some respects. She'd had a year to get used to the idea of being a magical warrior before Kurma dumped the next piece of the puzzle on them.
"You don't have to go until you're ready," she repeated gently, wincing.
Perhaps this was all terribly misguided. She'd implied to Kallichore and Ganymede that there was something important about uniting the moons of Jupiter, or else they'd all implied it to each other and Europa had never discouraged the notion. But it was starting to seem to her that someone, somewhere, was expecting her to lead just because she held the highest rank and she wasn't sure if she could do that again.
She fumbled to pull her phone out of the air, nearly dropping it in the process. "Here," she said, "Let me give you my number."

Pasiphae scrambled for her own phone, opening it and setting it to scan Europa's information as she had done with other Senshi in the past. As the transfer of information took place, she couldn't help but feel like she had somehow let Europa down. "I'm sorry... I try to keep up, but it's overwhelming at times. But I promise I'll keep trying my hardest to be a good Senshi... and knowing that I've got you and Kallichore to call on helps alot. I don't feel... so alone anymore."
The teenager hadn't even realized, until she said it aloud, just how alone she had felt as a Senshi until running into others. Technically she had assumed they were out there, but the feeling she had now that came from actually having met them was completely different. It was like a heavy load on her shoulders had been suddenly made lighter by someone offering to take part of the weight himself. In particular, she felt that an important connection had been made between her, Europa, and Kallichore... and maybe, although she had not met him yet, seeing this Ganymede that they both mentioned would only further confirm that something special linked all these moons of Jupiter together.

With a nod, Europa scanned Pasiphae and flipped the phone away once more. "Senshi are a team," she smiled reassuringly. (At least, she hoped it was reassuring.) "As long as you're one of us, you don't ever have to be alone if you don't want to be."
"And really," she added with a shrug. "Practice makes perfect. You're still learning." It was tempting to think of something to end the conversation on - a promise of future teamwork. Europa didn't have any clear ideas, but if the Jovians all thought they were assembling a team, then who was she to deny them?
"I'll see what the others say about having a meeting for all of us," she said. "And I'll text you when I know. How does that sound?"

A team. The Senshi of Shame had never been part of a team before, even in her civilian life. She wasn't much of one to particpate in sports--she even found entering conversations hard. She felt like she had nothing to offer, ever, and this had not changed as a Senshi. Yet, each Senshi she met seemed to imply that she had value, worth, and while it made her insecurities rise in some ways higher than ever... she also didn't want it to end.
So, when Europa suggested that they all meet again, Pasiphae clutched the bloodied ribbon in her fist, never lowering it from her cheek as she nodded. "I'd love to have a meeting for all of us. It'll give me a chance to see you and Kallichore again, and I'd be able to meet Ganymede. Thanks... for helping me, Europa. I appreciate it, I do."

"I'll let you know when and where soon," Europa promised. She purposely kept the details vague out loud - inside her skull, her mind was racing trying to start on the logistics of this. She'd basically been operating night to night since the dissolution of the Basterds, solo but never fully alone. The idea of operating a team again was both thrilling and a bit terrifying.
She did not know what qualified her to lead these people. If anything, the majority of the work had been done by Kallichore - she was just following seeds planted by the senshi of Madness, who she had apparently implied the existence of a team to.
(When had she done that? Had she really done that? Well, it was happening anyways, her own confusion not a factor.)
"Go home and get yourself patched up," she added, sympathetic but stern. "I've got to get going, I have work in the morning."

Pasiphae nodded, sensing that her first meeting with Europa was swiftly coming to an end. "I'll look forward to hearing from you. And don't worry - I'll be sure to get these cuts treated as soon as I can."
The Shame Senshi headed off for her home, already thinking about how she was going to "borrow" her mother's concealer in order to keep her from seeing the scratches on her face. Sadly, she was getting to be pretty good at keeping things from her parents... but, apparently, that was just part of being a Senshi.
