She had a mouth full of cake now. Once again, she could not talk with all of the DELICIOUS filling her mouth. So the best she could do was nod. The cat's bell jingled lightly with each nod.
One jingle for the fact Ridley was responsible for bringing ********* along.
Another jingle to confirm that they had indeed been feeding the manx.
And a final jingle to Sam's question of the Negaverse. By that point, she had swallowed the contents in her mouth. "Yes, I was able to sense them the other evening. They're doing something at night time." There was a thoughtful pause. "What specifically? I don't know."

Istas pushed Sam slightly for looking at her smug like that, "You're a meanie." She started before shaking her head. No this was okay, he wasn't but she could call him one jokingly.
She frowned at the information. "I wonder if that's why we've been so tired?" She looked towards Sam and then *********, who was enjoying the cake she'd brought. She sighed, "So what do we do? I mean we have to stop them but there's only like... what... five of us that I know of that are senshi. Including me and Sam... I don't think anyone else can get out here quickly enough..."
She was looking at the sun, "It's almost night time."

Sam didn't wait for an answer from *********. "It MUST be! I knew it!" He jumped up, ready to take action! "We can take 'em! There can't be that many here... no way!"

Those children probably would notice that the pile of cake had pretty much vanished in that short amount of time. However, now that the cake was gone, the manx had more time to talk. Sitting her haunches down finally (she had honestly been standing this whole time while working on the cake), she then glanced between the two.
"I'd venture to say so. I've been in the woods and I haven't really felt tired. Well, save for the usual cat napping."
Sam seemed rather ready to pounce on any Negaverse agent that might have shown up, but somehow she suspected it wouldn't work. "We need to come up with a plan. If we jump into the water without looking into the water, we might get devoured by sharks or just flat out drown." Sam's solution sounded more like something that Ellie might have said. Ellie would be hard to change. A child would possibly be easier to convince.
"There might be more senshi, but there also might be more agents from the Negaverse. Do not underestimate them."

Istas frowned heavily as Sam jumped up and then ********* having finished the cake set to talking. She nodded softly, "I hope we're not out numbered..." She said with a frown.
"We could be out numbered Sam. Maybe we should just hope they're not going to take our starseeds...." She looked at *********, and then towards the camp itself shifting on her feet. However it seemed Sam was still not going have any part of 'lets not do anything and hope it goes away'.
"So who do we call?" She pulled out her senshi phone from her backpack and looked at the list of sailors there. She knew Adira was here, and well Chibimoon and Ridley... but Adira might be better to call because... well she was older. "Peruses?" She asked looking back at ********* and Sam, "Or should we just start walking back towards camp and figure it out on the way, because it's getting dark..."

Indeed, Sam was having none of this 'wait and see'. He gave Istas a sour look "and be victims? I don't think so. My energy is mine. I know it's great and all, but I'm not about to share it with a bad guy!"
The boy stopped to consider what ********* had said though. He was easily swayed by the advice of anyone he admired, and he admired cats that made fantastic space gizmos. A plan? He stopped to think on that. "Perseus is good, she seems strong." Chibimoon, not so much... As hypocritical as it sounded, Sam doubted the powers of anyone with a 'chibi' in their title. "It is almost dark... can't we just... snoop around?"

"I agree with the fact that the senshi may be outnumbered in this instance. However, hoping that the snake won't bite is a far more dangerous gamble than one could imagine, especially if the snake is instead slowly squeezing you to death." The point was a bit exaggerated, but hopefully it made it obvious that they could not sit by idly.
The mention of Perseus did get a familiar nod from the manx. After all, it had been ********* who had started that particular senshi off on her destined journey as a magical school girl. "As I recall, Perseus has a good head upon her shoulders." One that was filled with questions, which in this particular case would have been an excellent quality.
However, soon enough, ********* was on her paws. It seemed as if she could sense Sam's anxiety. "I suggest that we don't just idle around, otherwise, nothing will get done."

Istas frowned as ********* talked about them possibly being squeezed to death, "Like a lemon?" She shook her head before standing up finally convinced, "Okay but lets try to avoiding calling attention to ourselves. Please..."
She looked at Sam hoping he'd be okay with that as she followed the trio. "I hope we have enough back up." They were headed around, "So what are we investigating?" She asked curiously.

Adira had been abruptly awakened from her slumber by the thought popping into her head that she'd left some camp documents sitting out at the mess hall when she'd been working on them. The nagging thought of personal information in an unsecured place was enough to get her out of bed and out into the chill night air. She'd donned a sweatshirt and sweatpants before leaving the Cabin Baneberry, and her hair was still braided back in her customary sleeping style.
It didn't take her long to notice the hushed whispers off a little ways into the forest, heated little voices carrying farther on the wind than they might have normally. Some campers who had left their cabins after curfew had just run into an unfortunate turn of events. With an authoritative frown, Adira veered from her path and towards the voices, hand unwittingly clutching the magic pen she had grabbed as a last minute thought. The girl hadn't had much experience with children, but she had noticed the large amount of sleepy tired eyes in the morning, and the amount of yawns throughout the entire day. She didn't have much time to dwell on it, but it didn't mean that she wasn't suspicious either. In fact, being Sailor Perseus had made her even more suspicious of everything, regardless of how harmless it might have seemed.
Once close enough, she was a bit shocked that she actually recognized all of the voices, and none of them were who she expected. "Istas, Sam, what on earth are you doing out of bed at this hour?" She wasn't going to scold them that the woods were dangerous, simply for the fact that both had faced things far more dangerous than the errant raccoon, even though raccoons were fairly terrifying in their own right. "And *********, what on earth are you doing here?" She frowned at the group. "It would have been very dangerous if you three had been discovered by anyone else."

"Like a lemon, like a lemon." The cat nodded as the three began on their way. Yet, their efforts were stopped a bit short by the approach of a senshi. ********* could tell before the guilty one appeared. So it was no surprise when Adira showed up and the cat was already smiling at her in greeting.
"It is good to see you again too, Adira!" ********* offered in an absolutely genuine manner, despite how harsh all of the questions were. Not being the sort to withhold information, she replied "I am here with one of my girl's actually. I do have to be quite honest though... it is probably better that they are out here instead of in bed."
It was growing a bit tiresome being on the ground and having to look up so high to see the various faces of the children and now the young adult. The manx wandered over to Sam's ankles and rubbed up against them before asking "Could you do me a favor, Sam and pick me up? I'd really appreciate it!"

"Adira! The Negaverse is here!" Straight and to the point, that was Sam for you. No point in avoiding saying it, he thought it best to inform her point-blank of the situation going on. "They're up to... I don't know what. But they're doing something sinister!"
Sam picked up ********* as he was instructed. But instead of carrying her in his arms, Sam dropped her behind his shoulder and into the hood of his red hoodie. Shoulder height was a bit better than being swaddled in his arms.

"Adira! I'm glad to see you!" She said with a smile, "Oh please tell Sam we shouldn't do anything rash until we know how bad the situation is."
The child frowned at Sam, watching him pick up ********* and put her into his hoodie with a small giggle. She looked back to Adira, "The negaverse has been doing that energy stealing thing they do. They tried it at the school once too, so we were going to try to investigate and see if we came up with anything."

"Sam, keep your voice down." Adira spoke calmly, only lightly reprimanding. She appreciated his forwardness, just not the loudness of it. Nervous eyes roamed the little clearing around them, and Adira turned to the cat that was now halfway in Sam's hood. "Think you could warn me if anyone is approaching *********?" The sooner they knew about anyone else in the area, the better. As much as she didn't agree with awakening children, ********* was one of the most proactive cat's she'd met, and it was something she admired.
"I'm proud of your detective work you two. But it gets a lot more dangerous from here on out, so be on your guard. Do you have your pens?" To a bystander, asking if two campers had their pens seemed an odd choice. Adira didn't mean to patrol the camp powered up, but if they met trouble she'd want at the very least for Istas and Sam to be able to escape.
She looked worried. Adira had been trying to put off her growing fear about Negaverse involvement at the camp, but it had been harder and harder to do lately. It was too suspicious, even she herself had felt tired a few nights in a row. "We should start our search that way- do you think that you can feel if somethings up *********?" Adira pointed vaguely in the direction of a shed that had given her suspicion a few times. She'd tried to unlock it with the camp master key she'd been given, only to be shut down by it being a separate lock. Why would the camp master key work everywhere but there?

Hoodie kitty! That was ********* official title at the moment. From her new temporary hammock of sorts, the cat peeked out, pressing her paws against the boy's shoulders so she could see around them as best as she possibly could. It was almost as if she was saying without words I am still a part of this conversation, yup!
"I'll keep an ear open for any others, and I'll let you know if any other Negaverse agents are approaching. I don't sense any at the moment though."
The moment the eldest of the human company pointed, the manx glanced in that direction. She narrowed her eyes a bit, as if trying to concentrate on that direction. However, keeping her eyes scrunched up in such a manner, she gave the simple direction "Take me closer please."

Istas watched Adria as she spoke, giggling at the light reprimand. She nodded softly and smiled at Adira, "I know... I always keep my pen with me." She answered, with a pause a small frown on her face. "Specially after what happened with Wolframite." That was said in a low whisper looking at the small scar on her hand left behind by the negaverse officer.
She suddenly looked up before nodded before glancing towards the shed that Adira had pointed towards. "Oh, hm..." She looked around. "That is a good place to look, that's the only place I think that isn't occupied or we're able to go in and out of." She paused, "Unless it's the boat shed... but that'd just be silly."
