The second I opened my laptop to check tumblr I just knew. I knew it was going to pass in New York. But when I read the news it actually brought me to tears because it made me so happy and it just opens up marriage for all these couples in New York and that because of NY being a major state, other states may soon get to it. I'm just so happy right now!!

This makes me so happy. It's my dream to live in NYC and perform on broadway, so knowing that if i want to marry a woman that i can in NY is so nice.

I was at work on break when I read it on my phone. I remember thinking "There's no way there will be an update" because I'd checked it at the beginning of my break 15 mins earlier, but it was the top headline. Hopefully, this is just the beginning! EDIT: This is totally awesome!
