Claire beamed at the girl once again at the mention of 'Computards'.
Claire could tell her all about them, including the groanspring!
And so, she did. She swallowed the mouthful and stopped eating to explain, in detail, computers.
"I have a computer. It's small and in an L shape with a clicky thing that apparently is called a rat or something, I don't remember. I turn it on with the O button and it suddenly flashes and I get excited because I know it's working! I wait until it comes up with the place where I write in my name and password. I have the best name, you see. It's 'Claireface334' and I can't tell you my password obviously. Anyway, I click on the round thing which takes me onto the INTERWEB! This is where the pages are, you know about them, and my favourite page of all is called the groanspring page! Once again I type in my name and password and then you can see almost everyone in Amityville on the page answering and asking questions! It's amazing! I've gotten into the habit of making a 'fact of the day' which are very well researched facts that i've found on the interweb. It's all very interesting! I don't know if you have a groanspring but you should definitely get one so you can see my facts and talk to other students!"
That must've been a mouthful.
"Also i have no idea about your pet but I don't think anyone would have eaten him because I basically watch people eat and no..."

Cady frowned. Hmmm. Clearly she was Doing It Wrong. She tried to remember if she'd seen a 'Groanspring' anywhere inside the little mauled white box that once was her desktop PC. She didn't really recall any springs at all. Mostly it was just funny tasting green plastic and metal everywhere, with a fan squished in.
"Maybe I'll try one of the school computers, they might have one in the Libre-"
Suddenly, something green and rather rude smelling flashed past the dorm door. Cady jumped up, making for the door.
"I'MSORRYTHAT'SHIMIHAVETOGO-" she stuttered out as she flew out down the passageway, disappearing deeper into the demon dorms, like a ghoul on a mission. What a nice dorm, she thought distantly, as she pounded after the missing minipet. She made a mental note to visit again sometime.
And with that, she was gone.
