"Have you hit your head or something Kenshin?" Yahiko asked, pointing to his noggin. "It's us! Jeeze! What is up with you?" He then crossed his arms, looking rather annoyed at the whole situation. Kenshin was't behaving like himself at all. There was something odd about this whole situation. As though the ex-assassin had just figured something out about the two Kamiya Kasshin practioners that not even themselves knew.

The junior rooster then soon realized that the situation was perhaps far more serious than he thought. It had to be if Kaoru was actually acting mature for once. This was more than just a little mix up apparently. A fist tightened on his shinai. Just when he thought that they were going to have a break from the past, this pops up. The way Kenshin looked right now... it was really bizarre. More so than usual. Yahiko had seen Kenshin fight several times, no doubt. After all, Kenshin was his idol. And throughout those fights, the young Kendoka always noticed that there was something different about him, as though there was a small glint of a man who had seen many things throughout his life. But this look, it was different than others. It showed experience, but it showed something else as well. Something that didn't make Kenshin seem like himself. It was almost someone else inhabited the red-head's present body, and surprisingly enough, it actually scared Yahiko.

Still, the young hero tried to keep up his confident front. He wasn't about to sway if something unexpected was going to happen. Yahiko was going to try and make sure that this issue was going to be controlled. After all, they didn't want to scare away all their new students now that the dojo was back on his feet.

"Aw, damn," Yahiko groaned to himself, as he realized the first reason he came to talk to the Tanuki. "Listen, Kaoru, I know this isn't the best time to say this, but I think we have a new potential student waiting at our doorstep. What am I suppose to do? Shoo her away, invite her in? You really gotta start telling me these kind of things! What am I suppose to do when you're gone on your workshop trainings at the other dojos?" Well, the last few lines were more or less hinting at something else. As much as he bickered with the Tanuki and often disobeyed her, he did want to help out with the dojo someday. Perhaps as a Sempai... now that'd be hopeful. Sempai's are suppose to respect their Sensei's in everyway, and also show an example for the other students. At this point... well... though the young boy was an excellent fighter and some the aspects in his life are well beyond his years, he was still only ten (Hey, I'm turning eleven soon!), and did act like it quite a bit of the time as well.

Still, he had many years to mature. Give him about a hundred years or so.

By the inexorably suspicious glances of his 'pursuers' so to say, Kenshin wasn't all that ecstatic about being there much longer. But there wasn't many other options; the Kamiya girl seemed increasingly determined to keep the Battousai in one focal point at the moment; not to mention it was bright daylight, and almost anyone could spot him out of a crowd due to his appearance and red hair. Things just weren't looking too good for Kenshin at the moment, but, come to think of it, when did things ever look 'good' to him? Not really ever, so did anything really change? Eh, enough thinking, he needed to do something now before he was questioned more and became any more confused about the circumstance. But the Hitokiri just couldn't stop letting his mind wander. Things just didn't seem right at all. He grimaced only slightly, allowing a slight outtake of breath as he adjusted his hand on the strap of his hakama. (Sorry if that's wrong, my mind is like.. dead <<; ) Fear.. what was fear? Did he exalt fear into his victims? Most of Kenshin's contemplations were of the intellect, lots of less vocal and more thought processes. Which currently wasn't the best thing, considering he was.. well, 'surrounded' and they knew his name and a lot about him, it almost looked like.

Fearful perhaps? Doubtful indigo eyes averted to the ground, and Kenshin glared back up to the two, who was he to be so hesitant towards them? It was almost as if his body wasn't allowing him to move; just stationary, sticking him there. It was sickening for all he stood for, and now a woman and this little child holding him in place, unbeknowst to him for good reason.

But that wasn't enough to quite stop him now. No, not Kenshin. He needed tranquility now, to be away from all this, and that was exactly what and where he was planning on going/doing. Turning to the window and jutting the end of his sheath into it, the window quickly broke free and he jumped through it with agile ease, though probably not as easily as he would've liked. Making the mistake of glancing an abberant gaze to the two Kasshin students, Kenshin then began in a sprint to the nearest thing that was detectable: a nearby lake a mile or so down the dirt path. It was serene, quiet, and the way the sun's rays hit the beryl river completed the scene to be appropriate.

The Battousai just needed a moment to think things over; just a moment, because that was all he had. What could he do.. and why? Brushing a strand of red locks from his view, the swordsman could only approach a shaded tree in silence, solitude, and contemplate his next location, because a murderer could never stay in one spot too long, one tended to be antsy and paranoid. And who wouldn't, with a stature of Hitokiri Battousai anyhow?

[[gwas, I'm SO sorry for the crap post, I just wanted to get something on here for you guys x.x; Please forgive me. This prolly makes close to no sense at all. But I tried. <<]]
