"Your a riot kid, I like that you won't be shown up by anyone but from what I hear and can see you have a large soul but your wavelength ain't all that powerful yet on a scale of 1-100 I'd probably say your an 11 and I'm a 25 you need some time before you can truly catch up." Skye said chuckling he then moved next to Leon and punched him in the head. "Baka why won't you say something?" He asked the now mute Leon as he then hard Kukai's question. "Well our mission is pretty hard we have to take on Don Al Capone and all of his followers so you can imagine that it's a tough mission but it's only a beginner mission so it's not that hard." Skye responded. "But since Lord death insist that we take missions that match our statistics, that's the only choice we had." he continued he then sat down as he let his Soul wavelength build in his hand until it was visible it was a bright orange color and it flickered lie flames. He began thinking when they would get to this mission, it was annoying staying in this school for so long but his stupid Partner was mute right now and he really wanted to go on a mission. he began playing with the flame like Soul wavelength just passing it from hand to hand until it dissipated back into his body. beautifully until the end? " Kukai chuckled a final time before listening. On a scale of 100 he was an 11? Only an 11. Strange. Strange indeed. Yet Skye was a 25. Well what did that make Leon considering his soul had to either match Skye's very own soul or slightly surpass it. But then again Kukai could have been wrong on all accounts. Hearing Skye speak about missions interested Kukai slightly. It seemed that he would most likely get an easy mission considering his 'statistics'. But no matter. Unfortunately, again the concept of souls came up again. With no weapon partner it would be pretty hard to get a reward. Unless he found a way to contain the souls he acquired in multiple jars or something and once he found a weapon partner he would give it to them.
Watch Skye's own soul wavelength as it flickered in his hand like a small fire amused Kukai greatly. From his facial expressions as well as the actions that had transpired not to long ago Skye wanted to go on the mission now. And the faster he did it would most likely please him. Strangely enough Skye's next question was what Kukai had been thinking about. Whether or no the had found a partner yet. Well it was not like he had one already. Especially considering he had only recently made it to the Academy. And who could forget the long trip up the stairs. Putting his hand on his chin. His mind replayed exactly what happened when he made it to the school. Most importantly his lazy friends.
~ Flashback ~
While they came closer and closer to the top, they stopped momentarily to get a better look at the Academy since they were now closer. Putting their hands behind their head they looked up at the giant Academy. It was then that the same thought hit them all. Giant Academy...means.....loads of work... As they all fell to the floor depressed other people continued walking by them. At this rate they were risking be late to class. And who knew what would happen if they were. Standing up, they began to run up the long flight of stairs. Considering they were all lazy after making it to the top they stopped at the top to catch their breath. " Damn no good stairs.." muttered Kukai.

Upon removing his hand from his chin Kukai opened his eyes slowly before shrugging. " Who knows. But I'm sure I'll find one in no time at all." stated Kukai with a smile.

❇ ℤaigou ϟin ❇  As Zaigou made his way through the halls of the school, he thought to himself. How could someone allow themselves to be taken over by something so.....evil and uncontrollable. He pondered the thought over and over but no matter how many times he would repeat the question to himself he couldn't come up with an answer for himself. He was so distracted with the thought he hadn't noticed Francessa following him. When he came to his senses, he stopped. He could feel something nearby and it caught his attention. He couldn't tell what it was but he knew where. He didn't know how or why but he was being drawn to a room to his left. He looked at the door and it read 'Infarmary'. "Hm." he hummed to himself as he approached the door. He grabbed a hold of the doorknob and looked over at Francessa. What is up with her he thought to himself as he opened the door.
Zaigou walked into the room filled with hospital beds which was occupied by three boys. Two of them looked familiar. They were both in his class when he first arrived. He hadn't had the chance to introduce himself before but now would probably be a good time. But before he could say anything, he looked at the third boy. Zaigou had never seen him but for some reason, he had a feeling that he couldn't shake, the feeling as if he knew him already. Zai took a couple steps into the room before closing the door behind him. If the boys hadn't noticed Zaigou walk in they must surely know he was there now from the sound of the door closing. He crossed his arms and leaned back on the door, studying each of them in the room. With each glance he took, a new piece of information was soaked into his mind about each of the individuals. It seemed that they were all pretty evenly matched in power but Zaigou couldn't read how talented each boy was in skill. "Excuse me." Zai said with a stern tone, hoping to get the attention of the others.

beautifully until the end? " Looking towards Leon Kukai continued to study trying to figure out anything more than he would transcend the gods along side Skye. But there was nothing. His soul was there for sure, but it seemed so cold. Thinking back now the answer came to him. " Its not the attittude on the outside..But on the inside he is a softy...? Though what interests me is the basis of their promise. Each Meister is working with their partner to make them Death Scythes. So if that is not the promise they have formed. Then I wonder what is..." thought Kukai as he sighed softly. What would become of Kukai. He was almost sure that everyone in the academy had a partner. So how would it look if only he had no partner. Maybe his partner would be something cool. Like a gun. Or maybe a naginata. And who could forget a katana or a set of swords. Just the thought of having a weapon made Kukai excited. But then again he could only truly be excited when he had a partner.
Upon hearing the door open Kukai's eyes had looked towards the door as a new person walked in. A male who looked a bit older than him. However while looking at his soul Kukai felt something deep within him. Almost as if this meeting was a chance of fate. Upon looking over the man's soul it seemed quiet and kept to himself. Although Kukai figured he would just be like that till he spoke with more people. In any case Kukai felt something strong coming from the older male that had entered the room. Remembering that the male had spoke to them Kukai raised his hand before waving it. " Yo." stated Kukai with a smile towards the older male. Still though he could not shake the feeling that he had met or seen the boy somewhere before. There was something his father had said about Meister and Weapon relationships. " Some relationships between Meister and Weapon or even Meister and Meister seem eternal. At first glance it seems as though you've seen as well as known each other all your lives... Would now be that moment...?" thought Kukai. That was after all how his parents met. Though he absolutely hated the story since it was long. But as he grew older he did begin to understand more things about the story as a whole.

❇ ℤaigou ϟin ❇ Zaigou looked at the boy who had greeted him. There was something about him that made Zai comfortable. "Do I know you from somewhere..." He knew the question sounded dumb but the feeling irked him to the point of annoyance. It was possible that they have met before, Zaigou had met plenty of people in his life that he couldn't remember but at the same time, he was sure that he would have remembered his name. "Kukia Souma?" he finished. Zaigou had finished analyzing him with his Senrigan. He was a meister, his soul was light and he appeared to be kind. Just the type of person he had been looking for. He waited for a response from Kukia before he would bring up the topic of being partners.

He closed his eyes as he began listening to the buzzing of the man's soul as the image appeared in his head it was a sheltered soul. Skye didn't particularly care for people who liked to keep to themselves it made them boring and didn't give him much to converse about with them. He cracked his neck as he opened his eyes and grabbed Kukai he took him by the shirt collar and began spinning him and then flung him into the new kid. "Go make more friends!" He shouted after Kukai. Skye was really wanting to go on this mission but it was inevitable he'd have to wait he looked at both of the newbies they seemed to have a connection and as Kukai neared him as he went flying into Zaigou their souls sparked the sound of lightning cracking rung in Skye's ear like when he had first met Leon the sound of lightning cracking rung in his ears maybe they'd be a formidable duo. he'd need to watch the both of them but that wasn't his interest right now he wanted to help the newbies find their match and then get his a** to New York, so he could kick Don Al Capone's a**. beautifully until the end? " Looking at the male as he spoke the question they were both thinking came up. Do I know you. What a wonderful question indeed. Examining the male closer he was about to speak. However Skye had thrown him with no warning at all straight towards the new male. Well this was not going exactly hoe he had planned to make more friends. While in the air, Kukai twisted his body before spinning completely. Landing on his feet he stood completely up.
Dusting himself up he put his hands behind his head as he examined the male again before speaking. " I'm not completely sure...but hey, I think I know you. And well...if we think we know each other than we must! I think.." stated Kukai trying to mimic what mad scientists would say on tv. Though they all wound being shot or something worse happened...so perhaps he would stop. It was only the males next set of words that made Kukai smile. His very own name. The male just like Kukai had, was examining his soul. Or looking at it in a way that gave off information. " Yep. That's me. Can I help you...? Er-... What's your name?" asked Kukai rubbing the back of his head embarrassed since he did not know the males name. More than likely Kukai would apologize after for not knowing his name. But what could be in store for him now. Hopefully something fun.

❇ ℤaigou ϟin ❇  "My name's Zaigou." he answered with a smile. "Tell me, Kukai, are you currently partnered with a weapon?" He asked while looking over Kukai's shoulder at Skye. He knew without a meister, Skye and his partner would tear him apart, and already seeing how bad Skye's temper was, Zai didn't want to start a war in the infirmary so he kept calm. He wondered why he would throw one person at another. He must have been a wild child but this could come in handy at some point in the future if they were to ever work together. He kept his eyes locked onto Skye just in case he tried something funny.

❝ Justice Has A Hammer And It's Name Is Skye ! ❞◢ ◣ Skye noticed the kids look. "Vraiii!! Why Are You Staring At Me Like That It's Bad Luck To Cut Your Eyes At A God!!" He shouted obnoxiously. He sat back down on the bed as he let his Soul wavelength manifest into his hand again looking like he had ignited a flame in his hand. "If you weren't a new one I'd kick your a** for giving me such looks, but I'll cut you some slack I like your partner." He said looking at Kukai trying to signal to Zaigou that Kukai had no partner and they should partner up. Skye was like the DWMA Hitch he could match up anybody, he had founded two people with their partners already and this was working out well. He laid back with his hands behind his head as he drifted back to his memories of meeting Leon, it wasn't to long ago but it was like a memory that had been in his mind forever. Skye's soul went still as he thought about it, that one memory made everything he had worried about and all his loud tenseness just halt for a moment so he could feel the feeling like he did when they had first met, the feeling of finding someone who would be your family. The person you would be spending alot of time with until you made them into a death scythe and they belonged to Lord Kid and telling from Leon's strength already he would be the next Death Scythe that would be partner to Lord Kid, he wondered what his old death scythe would do after being replaced. He also thought about what he would do after Leon left him, he'd most likely be a god by that time if not the God seeing as it has not been yet stated if Lord Kid has a successor for when it's his time. Would he get married? And if he did become the successor would his time as death cut into his love life would he have to become some sort of kleptomaniac as well, all of these thoughts just rushed through Skye's head he also wondered if Leon knew his deep secret seeing as they had resonated once and shared a soul, wouldn't that mean he could read his secret, Leon didn't look like the type to pry he didn't want anyone to know his secret it would be too embarrassing. Boy did this sound like a romance thing. That settled it. Next response was straight forwards. What a cool name Zaigou possessed. It sounded like something that would intimidate people. That would scare even the strongest of men away. Now the ultimate answer was about to come up. Whether or not Zaigou had a partner or not. If not then more then likely the two would become partners. It was then that Sky spoke again. Laughing slightly Kukai himself spoke to Zaigou. " Don't worry about him. He's pretty nice once you get to know him for about 5 minutes." stated Kukai with another chuckle. 5 minutes was exactly how long it took for the two of them to become friends.

❇ ℤaigou ϟin ❇  Zai looked at Kukai, smiled and answered him. "I've always had a meister. I just haven't met him until now." Of course, the one thing he could say was also the cheesiest. He felt happy to know that he would be sharing his journey through life with someone he could enjoy being around. He then looked back at Skye as Kukai mentioned him. He seemed like a good guy, just a bit of a bad temper but that's something Zai could easily get over. Zai then crossed his arms as his attention went back to Kukai. "So, what now?" He hadn't thought that far ahead yet and he felt pretty stupid for asking the question but since he was the tool and Kukai was the meister Zai would follow him, and not the other way around.

beautifully until the end? " Smiling at Zaigou's cheesiest response Kukai folded his arms to think. After coming up with an answer he spoke. " I am not quite sure yet..I didn't even think I would get a partner this fast. But fate has a strange way of altering things. For the good or bad, this I must say is a good thing." stated Kukai placing his hands in his pockets after laughing slightly. Though that was a very good question. What exactly would they do know that they were a team. Kukai first thought of Soul Resonance, but that would come in time. Or it should come in time. Next were missions. But..could they really go on one now? It was not that Kukai did not think they could not handle it, rather would they be allowed to considering they were just recently formed. Well seeing as though Kukai had no thoughts on the matter why not ask Zaigou. " How about you. What should we do now?" asked Kukai not sure what would be good now. It was funny really. It was actually quite funny how Kukai went from wanting to get out of the miserable heat. To enter an air conditioned building. Only to try and come up with a sickness that would prevent him from moving around at all for the day. Of course after that who could forget having a bed pan hit him square in the face.
It wasn't like it was too long ago. However something strange happened afterwards. While thinking of what to do his mind went back to when he and his brother had though of what to do. It was on that fateful day that decided to play tag with the other kids. And when his brother would loose his life. Shaking the thought away Kukai focused back on the situation at hand. It was then that Skye had yelled loudly for them to train. This of course made the lazy side of him kick in. Not wanting to move he looked at Zaigou again. " Again. What would you like to do..?" asked Kukai.

The one easiest way to get to know someone is through combat. Some of Zai's best friends were his enemies that he would constantly brawl with. But it was the fighting that they used as a medium to connect to each other. Zai figured that this kind of connection could be used in a friendly spar or some training. He then nodded at Skye's suggestion. "Maybe we should listen to Skye, we can get to know each other through combat. Learn each other's strengths and weaknesses and techniques." He then looked over at Skye. "You wouldn't mind being our opponent would you? It would be best if Kukai and I worked together to get used to working with each other." He then turned and started to walk towards the window, passing Skye on the way there. As he passed, he chuckled. "Who am I kidding, I'm sure you were just waiting for me to ask." He said to Skye. When he got to the window, he opened it and looked back at Kukai. "I'll meet you down at the courtyard. I can't go back through the halls, there's a Stein girl that keeps following me so I'll take the express route. Don't take too long now." He said with a smile before grabbing the bottom of the window and launching his body out, falling down to the exterior of the school.

I can't go back through the halls, there's a Stein girl that keeps following me so I'll take the express route. Don't take too long now. The heat. The undeniable heat. What a hell hole this had turned out to be in just a few short moments. Sighing softly he nodded his head and spoke. " Alright." stated Kukai as he ran outside of the Infirmary room and out into the hallways. As he ran pass many different groups of kids the boy who had tried to beat him up earlier was there in his path with four other guys. " I don't have time to mess with you guys." said Kukai with a grin on his face. Speeding up one of the males charged forwards at him back bent a little low. That probably meant he had a weapon on him. When they would have reached each other, Kukai had lept onto the man's back and then pushed off flying in the air over him.
Landing on one of the other males heads, they desperately tried swinging at him with brooms, mops and buckets. Luckily they each missed as they kept hitting their leader. Jumping off of their leader and onto the hallway floor they each turned around and began to chase after Kukai. How upsetting. He was going to be late to his very first battle with his weapon partner. Turning around to face the boys he quickly went over their soul wavelengths as they through their fists his way. After avoiding the last hit before they got a bit tired he spoke. " You know he hates your hyper activeness right? He only has you here with him because your strong" stated Kukai as he pointed towards the tallest fellow amongst them. This was Kukai's intelligence at its finest. Pointing at the shortest of the group he spoke again. " He only has you here because you come up with the plans of the group don't you. If it wasn't for that he wouldn't have you in this group at all." exclaimed Kukai. Again now both males after hearing that turned on their leader. It was just as Kukai had said. The one who came up with plans had the calmest soul of the all. Not to mention he wore glasses. Not really intimidating at all. Though that was just a complete guess since Kukai wasn't sure if he'd be able to fool them all. Luckily he did though. Especially since he did not want to get in trouble for fighting. Continuing on now he finally made it to the exit. Walking outside he looked at the courtyard where there fight would take place.
