"Aye... I'm legal here AND over the big bloody puddle." He said with a start of an eyeroll. "Grow a dahm beard before people believe me." He chuckled.
He rubbed at the bridge of his nose, a finger tracing just for a moment one of the thicker points of the scar before he let his hand drop, clearly self conscious about it despite how pale it was.
"I'll do you the disservice of assuming -YOU are old enough." he chuckled and waved at the grey in Tony's hair.

Tony laughed, shaking his head.
"I'm sorry, I'm just used to everyone else with these powers being... you know. Teenagers. It's sort of habit to assume now," he laughed. He often felt like the oldest person in this scene, of knights and senshi, but he tried not to complain about it. He wanted to help them, and their young ages made them even more deserving of that aid in some way.
He made a face when his gray hair was pointed out.
"I am most certainly old enough, yes," he laughed, "but that's a good thing. I don't have to worry about getting carded, or being mistaken for a teenager," He wandered down the street with his cane in tow. He was feeling alright, despite the battle with the youma.
"To the bar... er... pub it is, then."

"Oh aie?" He tilted his head curious. "Lot of them around here eh? I think you are the first I have seen other than that wee crazy girl with the spear... unless you count the... heffelumps and woozles that I have been seeing about... right daft city."
He shook his head in wonder. "I heard that there were terrorists and what all, but I ner dreamed that I should find myself in such ah... regalia." He laughed.

"Spear? That might not have been one of ours." So far, he hadn't seen anyone that was a knight with a weapon that might actually be useful. He did remember a Negaverse agent with a spear, however. And she hadn't been a teenager, either. His defense that they were all young was quickly falling apart.
Grinning, not used to people talking with thick accents and very amused by it, he shook his head.
"Oh, no, not the youma. I don't think they have to worry about being carded, either," he said thoughtfully. A drunken youma didn't sound that funny, though drunken anything usually meant some kind of hilarity. He imagined they would remain terrifying monsters that needed to be turned to dust, sober or otherwise.
"It's a bit crazy, isn't it? I knew a few of the senshi, the good 'terrorists', essentially... before all this started for me. And now I'm in the middle of it as well. Knights, you and I. To me, that comes with a sense of... duty. I feel like I need to protect those around me. Particularly the civilians that get dragged into this fight, but also the idea of... life at all. A normal life, without these powers or rather this war." He sighed, hands in his pockets as they walked toward the nearest bar.

"Are they really all good?" He said tipping his head. "I mean.. the woman with the spear, she, I don't know how else to say it but she -felt- off." He shook his head. "But does that make the senshi 'good'? Why are they all....why are WE all fighting? What started this? Why HERE...what about the people ...w...without the costumes?"
He walked side by side with the man, measuring his pace to make it even with the hitch in Tony's step. "Dun get me wrong, I just do nae want to take it for granted, even now it all seems a bit dodgy to me eh?"

The page looked at the other knight, then shook his head slowly.
"Well, there are two sides, yes. Three, with us. Not all good. Not even all the senshi fight for the same reasons. The Negaverse, the woman with the spear was one of them and their energies feel... off... corrupted. There are people that used to be senshi on their team, as well..."
The thought made him sad, but he pressed on.
"I'm fighting to stop the war. I don't believe there are absolutes, that all senshi are good, and all of the Negaverse should be seen as bad. They all have human lives, from this planet or not. You and I are knights of Earth and from what I've learned from conversations with the Negaverse... so are they. I believe that anything with that chaos inside them, that energy that makes them feel 'evil' can be cleansed. It doesn't have to be this way, there can be peace and we don't have to watch kids killing each other, or help them do it."
He took a breath, getting off his soap box to go back to the questions he had heard before he started off. He could only explain things as he had learned them, and come to understand them.
"The Negaverse are from here, and they want this planet. The Senshi are trying to stop them from taking over. The civilians are caught in the crossfire. The Negaverse use humans, they collect energy and the... uhmm.. the starseeds from their chests. I don't know for what use, but normal, helpless people are dying because of it. And then those monsters, those youma... they menace the city as well."

He blinked mulling over the information. "You... say 'negaverse are from here' as though some...are not?" He said carefully hoping he misunderstood. Or do yeh mean... like oer the puddle and all tha?"
That at least would make some kind of sense...
"I can not say I like the feel of the woman with the spear, that is for true." he did nod. "If there are 'some of ours' on their side... can there be people once with them on our own?" He added. "Are they traitors? How can we trust them?"

Tony nodded slowly.
"I mean, ah. The senshi are from outer space, it seems. Different planets. Not all of us, the knights, are from Earth either. At least, as far as I understand it. There seems to be a lot to learn, and it's difficult to keep up with all the facts... as each side tends to tell the stories a little differently..."
Once they reached the bar he held the door open for his new friend, moving inside.
"Ah. Well... I don't know if there are any of our own fighting with them, but I do believe that they are not lost. I mean... don't you get that feeling from their energy?" Of course, maybe he had met as many Negas as Camelot had, and certainly was unfamiliar with the idea of corrupted senshi. Or so he was assuming.
"I get the feeling that anything that is corrupted can be cleansed. Just as anything pure can be pulled into chaos. I think there's this tug of war between the two sides, a fight between light and dark, chaos and peace... ending the fighting would be finding the balance between them, I suppose."
He sighed, shaking his head. There were people around them now. Maybe they could relax a bit.

"I imagine that both sides telling the different story is the same as any war, winners tend ta make the rules as to how it gets told in years to come though." He pondered a long moment. "I only felt the one of them besides the monster... and ye... I dun know that I can pass a fair judgement on how well they can be polished up but I'll keep it in mind!"

Tony smiled and nodded.
"Well, my only goal in all this is to get out of it with as many lives intact as possible. Whatever they're fighting for, each side, each individual, there has to be a way to end all this without one side destroying the other. Where ever they're from and whatever they have inside them, they lived normal lives here once. In peace. We can find that."
He sighed, ordering himself a drink. They had earned it, after all, and he offered to pay for his as well.
"But I also think we knights need to take care of each other. We're all new, and with so many experienced fighters and dangerous monsters out there, it could be easy to get overwhelmed on our own. I'm starting a little group, if you're interested, to keep each other safe and to share what information we learn."

He waved off the offer to pay for his drink and paid for his own, just an odd mater of pride. "I think... I would really like to see that group of yours." he nodded. "Taking care of each other is a good idea, I like that... I like that quite a bit actually... cheers, cheers to that. Does this group of yours have a name?"

Tony laughed and nodded his head. he understood the need to pay for his own drink. He was just trying to be polite, but drinking was a man's game, wasn't it? There was pride in play, at the very least, and Tony didn't push the matter.
They weren't on a date, after all.
He picked up his drink and tipped it toward the other, chuckling. "The Knights of Destiny. So yes, cheers to that!"
At least the night hadn't been a complete embarrassment, and certainly far from a waste. He had some youma trouble, true enough, but he found a fellow knight, and even better, one of Earth.
It was nice, having someone not from space, who could relate to the troubles on earth, for earth, like Tony could. Or maybe he was getting ahead of himself a bit quickly. Whatever else was the case. at least they could hang out and share a drink.
