Ainsley was perplexed and her face showed it when she watched Lissy floating like that. Ainsley couldn't do that, at least, not without her innertube! Hopefully, she looked off to the beach where it sat in hopes this was where Lissy would suggest she go get it. A few moments passed and instead of suggesting she get it she told her to lay on her back and try and... have her belly touch the sky?

"I..." She cried out.

She wasn't scared! She was a senshi and senshi were fearless! She was silent for a moment as she looked at Lissy. Okay, maybe she was scared, just a little. Her face pouted and she waded towards Lissy and offered her hand to her shyly as she leaned back against the water.

"Promise I won't sink?"

Lissy saw Ainsley look up at her ring and just smiled, if she could get Ainsley floating then she would let her have her ring because once she could float she would be able to swim and that would be better with her ring. At least Lissy thought so, Ainsley could then just have fun for a bit after all they had the whole of camp to learn how to swim!

"I promise just look at the sky and you won't sink!" Lissy held Ainsley's hand and moved so she would be behind her head in case it did for some reason go under.

"Come on, I know you can do it!! Just look at the beautiful blue sky and imagine you are flying up there!" Hopefully Ainsley wasn't scared of heights otherwise Lissy probably just said the wrong thing! For now though she was more then happy to let Ainsley try and then go get her ring but she wouldn't tell her she could have her ring until after she was floating!

Anxiety was the best word to describe how Ainsley was feeling when she leaned back into the water and looked up at the sky. There were no clouds up there leaving the sky to feel empty and endless. She wished there were clouds for her to stare up at, possibly imagine herself dancing amongst them as if she were weightless. She could feel her body sinking down under the water and soon she direly began to trying to keep her head afloat. If just her head floated then maybe she would be okay. She was stubborn though and she wanted this! She wanted to float!

Lissy had said that if she just looked at the sky she would float. The child believed her friend without a doubt and in response the child's body relaxed, her arms floundering gently under the water as her eyes shot up with her head leaning back as she tried to look at it to the full view. It was surprising, as she looked upward, the child found the other end of her body feeling light. The sky was wonderfully blue, so deep and bright. The emptiness it had before seemed to disappear completely as she lost herself looking up at it as she laid in the water's gentle embrace.

She was quiet, and it seemed and completely had forgotten what she was doing for a moment. A moment passed, and when she realized she flailed and began to sink under the water quickly until she once again stood on her feet. She wasn't sure what to make of it, and looked up at Lissy in response.

Lissy had just smiled, stood there in the water smiling. She had of course been ready to catch Ainsley if need be but she just watched as the girl floated. Of course she had a few issues but she relaxed and was floating until it seemed she realised she was floating. Ah well can try again!

"You did it! You were floating!" Lissy smiled widely as she spoke, wanting to make sure that Ainsley realised that she had actually done it and was floating on top of the water!

"Next time don't panic and you will be able to float for longer!" Yep she thought she would just point that one out as well. After all there was no doubt about it she was so happy! Lissy could see progress and it meant a silly amount to her.

"If you want you can get your ring and just play now? You worked hard already it's time to have some fun!" Lissy smirked and disappeared under the water to come up a little way away. "Come on!"

The child was a bit surprised to realize that she had actually been floating. The time had seemed so short, it counted as floating? A small smile came across the child's face as she gleamed at Lissy before she looked over towards her innertube upon her friend's suggestion. She could finally go get it and they were going to have some fun in the water? She nodded quickly to retrieve her innertube, quickly hopping into it before returning to the water with haste to find Lissy appearing up out of the water, gesturing for her to join her.

No time to waste, the child slowly walked out towards Lissy day! until she was floating in the innertube giggling. It was going to be fuuuuuuuuuuuuun day!
