Progress: 15k from polling and posting, enough to buy a jacktass from the market. and enough to buy common female items...but for some reason i just want to see how far i can get buying tickets and getting a jacktass for 7000tickets and saving gold for...whatever

Ah, the question that many newcomers often ask. n.n I'll edit the answer into your post, because I'd rather not get off topic in this sticky. ^^;; Hopefully you see this. =]
There is no actual quest system. One might be coming out, but it will be a long time before that happens. As of now, users call saving up for certain items, "questing." It's basically making and saving up gold for your desired item, maybe keeping a thread to track your progress, and maybe even asking for donations.
Users also "quest" for other things like comments in their profiles by asking other users to comment in it.
It's just a word. ^^
