Kenny rolled his eyes. She isn't gonna get rid of me that easy, he thought. he started running down the path that the girl ran down. Not as fast as her of course, but fast enough to catch up... after about an hour of running that is. He sniffed the air and found her in a tree about ten feet away. Kenny climbed a different one and made his way across the branches. He popped out of the leaves and saw the girl. She was facing away from him. "So why hunt when there's a village full of people?" he asked hoping he didn't frighten her.

Riley was in the middle of catching a deer when Riley heard his running. She didn't want to give up her catch, so she just ignored him, but when he talked, he scared away the deer. She sighed, resting her bow and arrow on her lap, letting out a huff of anger. She banged her head against the tree frustrated "Y'know i thought I lost you awhile ago." Riley said casually, ignoring his question. "But I have a question for you. Why are you so persistent?" Riley asked exasperated

Kenny smiled. It was a tad bigger than the one before. "Not sure. I've never actually talked to anyone before. Bu for some reason something keeps telling me to talk to you," he said. "But oddly enough your the only person thats made me smile."

"Gee, i feel so special." Riley said in a sarcastic voice. "So something other than the stalker inside of you tells you to keep fallowing me?" Riley said, then narrowed her eyes "'Only' seems pretty drastic"

Kenny shrugged. "Why do you act like this? Why do you shut people out?" he asked. I do, but when someone is trying to be friendly I'll talk to them, he thought. He looked at the brown haired girl. "And really all I want to know is your name," he mumbled.

Riley turned immediately defensive "Exactly, its just my name to start, but after my name you ask for history, past, feelings, and in those things is the reason why i shut people out. " Riley said, pointing his chest with her finger accusingly. "Its a choice to give you answers, a lot of people say yes, but i say no." Riley jumped down from her tree "is that so hard for you to grasp?" Usually people left her alone, or usually people never even came across her tiny cabin. She crossed her arms, head held high, determined.

Kenny hopped down after her. "Oh come on. I won't ask about your past, trust me I know what thats like. I don't even mention my past. So I wasn't even gonna ask," he said. "My past was horrible. My parents tried to kill me and the only way to make them stop was to kill them. I try to avoid other vampires since then-" Kenny slapped his hand over his mouth. He hadn't meant to say that. He backed away. Great now she really isn't gonna trust me, he thought sliding down a tree getting into a sitting position.

Riley stared at Kenny in shock, then she looked away, her voice for some reason more shaky "I though you said you don't even mention your past" She said still looking away.

Kenny was shaking. "I...I didn't men to say that... it just kinda slipped out," he studdered. "I...I guess I'll just leave you alone now. You probably wouldn't want to be around a m..murderer.." Kenny tried to stand up, but he was shaking too much so he just sat there by the tree staring offinto space as the grusome image of his parents dying in front of him came. A tear rolled down his cheek and he began to sob into his knees.

Riley stood there uncertain of what to do, But then when the tear slid down his face, she caved. She knelt down next to him, and sat by him awkwardly while he cried. She even patted him on the back. Once his cries quiet some, she sighed, and figured he deserved as much as her name since he had in fact given her his past. "Riley." She said grudgingly "My names Riley."

Kenny looked up at her. "Why aren't you running away from me? I mean I killed my parents... Anybody else would run away," he sniffled. the tears had stopped but his face was still wet with the tears before. Wow I'm such a wimp.. Crying in front of a pretty girl, he thought.

"To answer that question would require me to reveal some of my past, which you said you wouldn't ask for." Riley said a smirk on her face. "Besides there are worse things in life than someone killing their parents." Riley said, or at least she hoped that was true, since she did kill her dad.

Kenny nodded and wiped the tear stains off his face and got up. "I'm sorry for bothering you. I can leave you alone if you like," he said. He started to walk away, but then he stopped. "By the way I know your a vampire and I won't ask you to join me and the others. You seem content here."

"Well duh I'm a Vampire. Do you think a human could run as fast as I do. Plus, wasn't that the whole point of you not eating me this morning?" Riley said. But then she cocked her head "Why would you do that?" She asked.

Kenny chuckled. "Oh yeah. And why would I do what?" he asked confused. Thought that was kind of his fault and made two comments and wasn't sure which one she was talkign about.
