"You are more than welcome to come watch then practice or preform as long as the cat isn't with you," Joachim replied in the warmest tone he could possibly scramble together in which still remained rather cold. "They like having an audience to awe with their talent so your presences would be wanted."
He wrinkled his brows a bit thinking of how many other cats could possibly be living around in the dorm knowing his little pitiful source of luck probably one too many for his liking.

"Yeah, I'll--"
"Nyan!" Jackdammit said, glaring up at his master.
"Oh shuddup, stupid cat," Roch said. "You're going in the closet if you don't," he muttered before looking at Joachim again. "Yeah, I'd like to see it," he went on. "Do you compose their music for them? Wait, are they your weapon or do you have something else?" he asked, wondering for the first time if there might be another musically inclined reaper right in front of him. That would be awesome!
Er, other than the whole cat mouse thing, that was...

Joachim glared at the cat as Merel squeaked in rather defying matter as if to warn the cat from its behavior.
"I do compose some music for them though most of what they know are old folk tunes that have been in my family for ages," he replied with a hint of pride in his voice. He did compose a little in which from his family words it was rather good however it could be just the group of them telling him so that way his feelings went unharmed.
"Errr no they are not my weapon, they are more or less a subject a result of my weapon," he replied as he dug out of his pocket the wooden flute, "music is my weapon, or more specifically certain melodies and tunes that are played on an instrument that I am familiar with. The attract at the moment mice that I guess you could say help me fight."

Roch's eyes widened, and he broke into an honest grin. "You're another music reaper?! I thought I was the only one! Jack, that's so cool!" Even if this guy was kinda straight laced and had too big of a thing for mice. "My weapon's a guitar," he told him, now absently rubbing Jackdammit behind the ears. "I haven't gotten very far with the composing thing, though. I'm better at playing stuff that Bones taught me. But I'm working on it! Maybe you could give me some tips sometime?"

A guitar? Joachim thought imagining something that looked more like a mandolin than an electric guitar and couldn't actually make the image of the punk reaper playing work in his head.
"Err sure I can help give you some tips….. most of my family is music inclined its…. well I guess you could say playing an instrument is tradition in our family," even his mother whom was a valkyrie reaper had talent in singing that he somehow unfortunately was gifted with. The downside part in that was the mere fact that he sounded more like a girl than a male attempting to sing.

"It runs in the--" Roch stopped, something flickering in his mind as he took in that statement. "Yeah, yeah, that... that might be true," he said quietly. "Jack. I never even thought about--"
Clearly he had just had a great mental breakthrough, yet he didn't seem to be explaining it right now. "I should probably ask," he muttered, his expression darkening. "Nah, I don't care," he decided. "Do you play the same type of music as the rest of your family?" he asked.

Joachim looked at the boil with a bit of confusion when he started to mumble on something about thinking and asking though he didn't seem to be the one who was insane enough to be talking to himself.
"For the most part I do, however there are others that I prefer to play where my family would rather let me be run over my a herd of pathlings than hear me play it, but I guess that is something or a norm.... or at least I think?" He replied not really sure what other parents and their kids had in when it came to taste of music or annoying them.

"Yeah, it probably is," he said. "Bones hated the stuff I started listening to and playing lately. So I guess parents could, too." Which meant he didn't know for sure. He'd never played for his old man, and didn't plan on it, either. "Hey, I should probably put this guy in my room. But it was... nice talkin' to you," he said, as if deciding that now. "Maybe you could join the music club when I get it started?"

"Your starting a music club....err I'll join if you let me know I guess," Joachim replied unsure of what kinda of music club it was going to be. Was it to play music? Or would they just be listening to music all the time?
"I should go as well I'm sure Yaus is still in a fit and Phorum isn't going to help enough," Joachim replied giving the boil a short bow, "it was pleasant talking to you despite the situation."
Joachim spun on the heel of his boots as he headed down the hallway back to his room craving a cup of something warm.
