"Ugh, give be a good book on genetics or biology in general and you'd have my attention." She quirked an eyebrow at the other female, enthusiastic about math. How could anyone like math...? It was so boring to her, so not in her interests. Taking a bit of the food, she blinked. Oh, this IS good.
"...Remind me to sit next to you if we ever get placed in the same math class." She grinned. Clearly Helen would not cheat, she had WAY too much pride to cheat, but that did not mean she was below asking for assistance.
Tucking back into her food for a moment, she ate in silence for a few... her past was something she was trying to avoid, but if they would know eventually who she was.. then whatever. She didn't need to give details. "Dead beat dad and whore mom, lived on the streets till i was like 6. Was taken away and adopted by the people i consider my real parents, the rest is gravy?" Grabbing for the pepper, she added a little to the salad. Odd maybe but it tasted better that way... the spaghetti didn't need any additions.
"Kinda a no brainer i go to DCU, Biology major. Would you like my ASL too?" She grinned drolly, using a internet term. She really really hated talking about her past... so she would talk about herself currently. "21, so i can legally buy and drink booze. Clearly i have boobs, and i live in a apartment on the outskirts of town." More like a shabby shack, but she couldn't exactly afford any better at the moment. "I tend to say things as i see them, and my bite is just about as lethal as my bark." Small warning.. but a test as well. Helen wanted to jsut let these three know what she was getting in to, it was true. She was opinionated, and she would say things freely.
"This salad tastes bad." Like that.

Marlo and Elzo both ate in silence. Even if Elzo looked a tad embarrassed at his wife's scolding. Still Daphne dragged him out and had him smiling again. "I'd do nothing because I want you to make friends remember?" A hand reached over and gave her a playful tickle to her side. "And stop hinting on what to get you for your birthday." Elzo was glowing, Marlo glowering.
In an attempt to avoid his brother's lovely-dovey nature, Marlo actually paid attention to Helen. "So you lived a less then pampered life. Now you are a college student and obviously intend to make something of yourself." He almost sounded impressed. "Good." His natural mask cracked at the salad comment, going from semi- alright to thinly hidden anger at the insult. "It would have been good, but you put pepper on it. You ruined the flavor with flavor." He made it sound like it was some sort of crime. "Saw things as you like Helen, but know that often we say and do things we might often regret."
Blue eyes narrowed as a glance was cast his brother's direction.
Elzo was busy smiling when he felt that brush of dark energy in the distance. So close to their home was always distressing. What become more alarming was the scream that followed. The second Elzo stood, Marlo followed, excusing himself to take a quick 'smoke break.'
"s**t." Elzo's silent curse came a second time as another brush of energy became apparent. A second youma. Small, yet still a threat. "Um, Helen. I- s**t." More screams. "I have to go, excuse me." He didn't even bother to wait, before going out the door.
Something was clearly wrong.

Daphne was busy eating and generally letting the siblings talk amongst themselves, providing an easy backdrop just in case Helen felt like spilling her guts to the world about her supposed parentage. Her thoughts had meandered off into their own paths about dishes, who she could possibly con into them, and would it be rude to make her guest do them?
Probably.
They snapped back when Elzo's head lifted, a questioning look shot over before she winced at the screams. s**t. s**t s**t s**t. Why now? And God damn it were they really leaving her here?! All signs pointed to yes as the twin star senshi headed straight for the door with little explanation to their guest.
Throwing her napkin against the table with a clink of silverware and a growl, Daphne flopped back in her chair and folded her arms petulantly. "God damn it."

She gave a bit of a shrug at Marlo, but a nod. " You learn to get by with what you have. You were given hands and a brain for some reason." She cracked a bit of a smile, something not too common when it was genuine like this one was. That smile though, quickly formed into a grin. "Pepper makes everything taste better darling." A prod, a tease.
Though that didn't last all that long.
Almost instantly the sound of scraping chairs made her drop her fork on her plate. She did not hear the scream. The two men were out the front door in a flash, and leaving a VERY confused looking Helen behind. Looking back towards Daphne, she looked actually confused for once. "...Was it something i said?"
Then she too heard something, and she felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end. ....Was that a scream? Something inside her wanted to race towards it... call it curiosity, call it stupidity.
Well, she would definitely call it something later. Many words even. All she knew was, something within her snapped. Something that had been waining on the edge of a while. Perhaps it was the power of the people in the room around her.
Or perhaps it was because she felt like beating someone with a stick.
Either way, thats what happened. One second there was two girls looking confused, well helen confused and daphne irritated, the next there was a floating, semi glowing, black walking stick hovering over the dinner table.
"....Um."

Lips pressed together in a line as Daphne pondered exactly what to tell her friend why the two men just decided to leave the room with some half-hearted, stammered bit of excuse. Somehow she didn't think 'oh sorry my prince and his brother have to go save some poor soul from being eaten alive by a monster' was going to quite pass the mark.
Not to mention they had left her there like she was some kind of senseless damsel who needed to stay in the tower for her own damn good! She was stronger than Pollux by far! Stupid men! That was, of course, until something materialized out of thin air right in front of the sandy blonde Helen.
Amber eyes looked at it, blinked once, blinked twice. Eyes screwed shut, stared again and then, surprisingly, Daphne laughed and got up from the table. "I should have guessed this would happen. You're a Xanis after all." The annoyance faded into a sort of smug curiosity as the bluenette sat back, crossed both arms and legs, and waited.

"...What the hell does having to be a Xanis have to do with a twig now floating over the damn table?" Her eyes were still fixed on it, but her personality stayed sharp. She would never admit, she was mesmerized by such a object. Cerulean eyes could not leave it for longer than a second, even though she did give a quick glace or two to the other woman in the room. Why did she look so smug. Why did her two half siblings dash out of the room. Did Daphne poison the food with something? Was she high? Why did she want to touch that stick so damn badly. Her mind was a close second, but the compulsion to just want to TOUCH the damn thing won over eventually. Hand hesitating slightly, shaking even, it eventually wrapped around the object. Eyes opening wide, she suddenly felt a warm light engulf her. Changing her. Oh s**t.  "....What the ******** kind of MUTANT sperm did that man fill my whore of a mother with!?"

There was a moment of surprise in the bluenette's face before she grinned and hopped up to hug the stunned Helen. "I would've thought for sure you would have ended up a senshi! But you don't have the stupid short skirt, the bows, or even that weird tiara thing. You're one of mine!" For some reason, that pleased her more than she would have though humanly possible. Warmth for her secret sister ran through Daphne as she touched behind her ear subtly.
To Helen it would have looked like a quick distortion in a picture on a tv screen but when it finished Daphne was gone and Lina Knight was there in all her glowing glory. "Come on. We have to go find them. Oh boy am I going to make them regret leaving me behind." Flouting one of her favorite rules, she simply stepped out onto the balcony....and hopped right off of it.

"....i.." She managed to say, standing now stunned. She felt the hug Daphne gave her, somewhat.
She couldnt help it, she looked down and just.... stared. What the HELL was she wearing!? Of course she looked good in it, she looked good in everything. But... is that armor? Reaching up, she poked at her shoulder guard.... yup that was metal...
Looking up again, she blinked and squinted as the transformation of.... wait was that Daphne? Who the hell was standing in front of her now? She would have narrowed her eyes normally, but she felt as if this HAD to be some huge joke...... right?
....why the hell was the woman in front of her glowing? Why was she heading for the wi-....
Her jaw slacked open.
She was ******** crazy! What the ********! She ignored the fact that she was now different, as she ran to the balcony and looked down, expecting to see a corpse on the road. All the same, she stil screamed "What the hell your NUTS!" She was NOT going to be around when the cops arrived....
....And the question that was burning with even more curiosity. "and WHY THE HELL do i have the symbol of a MAN on my a**?" ...Technically it was on her hip, but it was close enough.

The blue head tilted up from the street which was, thanks to the screaming down the road further, somewhat deserted. "Hurry up and jump. You'll be fine, just remember to bend your knees a bit before you land. Trust me, I'm not new at this!" Rolling her eyes she gestured down the street.
"Come on. We have to hurry and there isn't a whole lot of time." Castor would probably work through whatever the hell was down the road in about three seconds flat and if he alerted Tanzanite or one of the others? Trouble. Huge ******** trouble.
Lina didn't want that in their neighborhood.

Both youma were still lurking about, but the screaming civilian was no where in sight. The lack of blood was comforting, but the fact that the civilian had fled alive left a safe bet police had been called and who knew what, or who, else. With the sight of Lina Castor waved at her before just rushing over to embrace her a kiss as Pollux cursed while a few small terrier sized youma chased him around. "Pollux is getting some real world practice, the youma are small enough he should be able to handle them." The senshi of hail smirked at his wife, the smile unmistakable. It was only after he addressed Lina that Castor noticed the companion or rather- "Newbie?" He was asking Lina more than her.
Meanwhile...
They were small, but for what they lacked in size, the made up for in multiple eyes and limbs...and teeth. Always teeth. And even if they were tiny, they had gotten him in the arm, a nasty bite letting blood run down his arm. A few clumps of dust showed what Pollux had managed so far, and as he kicked one it few into a wall with a nasty splat near the newly minted Page. "...." The senshi of Frost smirked at the youma's dusting, then frown at the newcomer before jumping on a carhood, almost getting bitten on the leg. "Oh, Don't mind me, just fending off a horde of deadly baby youma. No problem. Feel free to let me do all the work."
"Suck it up Pollux."
"Suck a d**k Castor."
"Like you?"
The next baby youma kicked his way and landed alarmingly close to Castor only this one didn't die. It stood and wobbled. Then stared at the Page of Mars. As if waiting.

"...Not a whole lot of time for WHAT persay?" She still had the stick in her hand, waving it around a little. What the hell was she wearing? Looking down again she caught another glimpse... only to look up again and notice the other woman, whom was one daphne, was now running AWAY. "HEY WAIT JUST A DARN MINUTE!" She was pissed now, the ******** was going on and WHAT was in that spaghetti!?!?! Was she high? Delusional? Crazy? She voted for all of the above. Either way -- that woman had answers.
It was a good thing Helen was used to wearing heels... or she would have tripped and fallen on her a** as she ran down the road.
Rounding a corner, she stopped... mouth agape as she looked on the scene. Two more weirdos in blue...check. Why was everyone in blue? Why did they just call her a newbie?
....What the hell were those tiny things and WHY the hell was its ugly self staring at her? "What the flying ******** is that!>?!!??!" The page of mars pointed with her free hand at it, disgusted. What sort of horror movie flick WAS this!? All she knew was... she swung her staff down on it as if attempting to squish a nasty bug. She was not the type to be squeamish and leap onto nearby tall objects, like cars. That earned Pollux a nasty stare out of the corner of her eye.
