Shearaha I'm going to have to start trying that St Johns Wort, see if it helps at all. I started feeling a little better after like two days. It's not as powerful as prozac or anything but seeing as "proper" drugs are hit-and-miss and can give you a ton of side effects (and St John's Wort won't), AND you can get it down the shops without a prescription, and it's cheaper, and if you go off it you won't go insane.... well, yes. It's worth a try. Just remember it'll stop the pill from working.

I too wanna thank Morg for all the information. Its rather useful. The grounding technique has been working for me but for some reason it seems like the more I do it the less..'good' the results. After the first time I was quite rejuvenated, focused, etc. I dont know what the issue is as I am doing it the same exact way, unless maybe I am focusing too much on doing it the same way and not on actually doing it?

That's pretty common. The first time you do something successfully, or something you profoundly enjoy, the experience is memorable. It's almost always got a magical quality to it, whether the activity is magical or not. Repeated experiences of the same get less and less new each time, working its' way downward from that original height of emotion and experience. So long as you are grounding effectively, it's still all good. The idea is to get it to a point where it's almost reflexive, where you can establish a grounding quickly when you need it.

I think I am doing that then. I wrote down everything I don my Journal which helped me sort through my thoughts. It would appear I am rushing them now. I shall have to pick better times and places and just stay calm more. XD I need to just sit there and enjoy it. Mm. Regardless its still impressive to me as before I couldnt do anything resembling Energy Work. Soon enough I can attempt a Charging and then actually Charge my girlfriends bracelet and necklace! I am really happy I got this information, this work has been some of the most rewarding thus far on my Path.

Indeed, Morg, this was rather helpful in putting into words the steps of things.
Energy control, as it seems, isn't as hard as one would imagine. People have energy and there is energy around us, so to be able to synchronize with it wouldn't be as difficult as imagined. However, that's the easy part. The next is to bend and shape it to our desire. Which is rather troublesome.
I do have one question, however. This seems like an honest enough guild, so I'll go ahead. I've been lied to by many friends who say they have "experience" in this sort of thing. I have little faith in what they say when they use the term "skinwalker" so lightly. Haha.
In any case, what does energy feel like to the user? Is it filling, like knots in the stomach, or something else?

The Stories Never Told In any case, what does energy feel like to the user? Is it filling, like knots in the stomach, or something else? It's different for everyone. I'm tactile, I feel it on my skin, kinda like when I put my hands in water. Some people smell it, some taste ect.

The next is to bend and shape it to our desire. Which is rather troublesome. This -really- depends on the individual. Some people don't find it easy at all to 'sync' themselves with the energy around them. Sometimes it just feels alien to them. Other people just don't 'sense' much, so for them it's like groping through thick fog trying to grab something, or wrestling with an oiled pig. What's easy and seems obvious to some of us, is not so for others. Quote: I do have one question, however. This seems like an honest enough guild, so I'll go ahead. Not to be ageist, but you are currently a member of an age-group where people say and do a lot of things that are unlikely or improbable, simply to amuse themselves or make themselves feel more powerful or important than they are in their daily lives. It's fairly common for teenagers to invent metaphysical fantasy lives for themselves where they're experienced, unique beings of singular power. Hopefully they'll grow out of it. Quote: In any case, what does energy feel like to the user? Is it filling, like knots in the stomach, or something else? It's very subjective. I wish there was a clear answer, but people percieve things in widely varied ways. For me energy is a 'flow'. When I immerse myself in it I can feel a current, like wind or moving water, going around me. Sometimes it varies in temperature. Sometimes energy smells strongly to me - i tend to percieve negatively-charged energy as strong, sometimes foul smells - iron smelter, stagnant water - and positive ones like ozone, sharp citrus.

Hence my interest in this thread. I keep plugging along though. As far as how it feels though, as mentioned, it's very subjective. I have a friend who feels hot or cold tingling and another who "sees" energy patterns rather than feeling them. For me, it's mostly an emotional jumble, making it even harder to sift through.

My Energy work has been improving significantly recently and I think its because more and more while doing it I am thinking of myself as a Bear. I dont know why it works but it does. After calmly reflecting on myself as a Bear I feel much more energized and stronger and my connection and sense of Energy, at least Earth Energy, is strong. I sat in the vines of a tree in my friends backyard and was just passing the energy through me and back to the tree and ground over and over easily. I also think maybe my belief in my ability to do it is helping. Another thing this I am somewhat experiencing Earth as like one connected thing with ripples and points and such. Trees would be an example that changes the smooth flow of Earth but Earth just kind goes up and then down accepting them. Make any sense?
So I guess I have two questions. One I am wondering why my ability has increased and two how I can keep this up. I dont want to lose it and I want to start doing things with it but I cant see to move to the next step really.

I'm not really able to guess how that might work. One I am wondering why my ability has increased and two how I can keep this up. I dont want to lose it and I want to start doing things with it but I cant see to move to the next step really. Bear is a spiritual being who is very strongly aligned with Earth as an element. If you are drawing on Bear or aspecting part of Bear in yourself to connect to the Earth energy around you, it makes sense to me that it's giving you greater access and ease. For now, as long as it helps and it gives you greater experience with it, it's useful for your learning curve. Don't let it get to the point where you can't do it without having Bear's assistance. You will have to wean yourself off that eventually and learn to do it solo. But for now it's ok - it's helping you get more familiar with what's around you. Don't forget to thank Bear for their assistance. In the process of doing that you may learn whether you've got a particular bear as a spirit ally, or if this is the archetypal Bear spirit that's aiding you. All living things will be full of the energy drawn up from the Earth as a planet. We are all connected to the soil in some way. The planet itself has all kinds of nooks and crannies where its' electrical field spikes and ebbs, and anything that grows in the ground becomes a part of the flow without disrupting it. Trees and other plants, as well as soil and stone, are a part of the unique shape of that energy field. Living animals are created and nourished off the same source, but become a separate kind of energy. You may sometime come to a point where you can see the Earth's energy as similar, but distinct from 'life' energy, inside non-vegetal/mineral sources. I find that even vegetarians have a slightly different energy pitch than those who are omnivores or carnivores. Keeping it up is easy - just keep yourself open to that level of awareness. Let it become part of the information about your surroundings that you take in automatically. Eventually you'll want to try keeping yourself aware of both what's going on on a physical level around you, and what's happening on an energy level. If it's difficult or overwhelming, work up to it. At the very least, you'll learn what places are either too much, or disturbing, to your sensitivity. What you might consider doing now that you have a sense of Earth's movement, is examine other types of energy. Electrical energy is Fire - see if you can differentiate that flow. Go places where Water meets Earth, and observe the differences between them. Examine the same outdoor spaces in no wind, and high wind.

I will remember to thank Bear from now on and to see if I can figure out which Bear it is. I will try to do some solo stuff to over break. Edit: Whats the difference between drawing on Bear and aspecting Bear?
