It was a lot to take in, oh, was it ever. He felt like he should have brought a piece of paper and a pen with him to jot down notes. Well, he possibly could have used his tome, but...no. You did not draw in books either. Not these kinds of books, at least.
He did manage to grab the basics though. Negaverse equals back and...whatever he and Flora were--a knight and a senshi?--equaled good. Apparently. Lemuria was certain that there would be some shades of gray, but he didn't bother bringing this up. To be honest, he was suddenly really, really tired.
He could have dozed off right that minute had Flora not mentioned something about "henshining down". He opened his mouth to ask just what she meant by that, only to be given a demonstration. A demonstration that left him wide-awake and gaping.
What.
What.
So that girl...
"You really need to get a longer skirt." He managed to croak out, finding that a weak joke was the only thing he could manage right now. So then Eve and Flora were...? This was the job Eve had been talking about then--the one that was so dangerous that still being alive was considered a good day. He couldn't help but imagine how long she had been doing this, how many youma she had fought, and how many close calls she had run ins with. Finally, he sighed, running a hand through his mussed hair. "I uh, thanks for telling me about your job, Eve. Or rather, showing me." There was a pause, and then he sighed even more heavily.
"...Looks like I've gotten pulled into this too though, huh?" Instead of waiting for an answer, he took her advice and imagined himself, the real Lucien Everard. He felt the book fade in his hands, and upon opening his eyes, he was himself again. But not quite the same self he was before this evening, that was for sure.

"It's a nice skirt!" Eve retorted, looking partly annoyed, although she was rather touched that he cared that she was showing too much skin. Lucy really was like an older brother. A boring one, of course, but at least he was a rather good brotherly figure. "And by the way, I don't choose my outfit. I'm not sure who does, really." The henshin pen? Guardian Cats? Her Princess? The Space Cauldron? She could only guess. "It's like how you didn't choose your shiny outfit, right, Mr Boring Lemon?" She pointed out triumphantly, finally putting that nickname to use. Hah, take that!
"I figured that you should know." She shrugged. "I mean, it's not an easy secret to keep, and I kind of felt bad keeping it from you." And now that he knew, she could heave a sigh of relief.
...Except not really. There was the issue of finding out who he was not being part of the surprise. "I'm sorry." She ventured, even though she knew it wasn't her fault. "I never meant to pull you into this; I just wanted you to know what I've been doing. Or else you'd jump to all those awful conclusions." Eve made a face, sticking out her tongue at him. He already knew the extent of her wrath when she had beaten him up for entertaining those thoughts. "At the very least, I can help you? I know it's not easy to get used to it and understand everything, so you can ask me questions if you're confused. I've been doing this for quite a while now, anyway."

"Mr. Boring Lemon?" Lucien repeated, groaning loudly, "Eve, can't you ever just call me by my actual name instead of making up a new nickname every time? I'll just have to call you Ms. Evette Fluoride." Lemuria, Lemon. Flora, Fluoride. It made about as much sense as her nickname for him did.
Now that the youma was destroyed and there was no more adrenaline pumping through his veins, Lucien found that a lot more worries suddenly made themselves evident. What kind of responsibilities did he hold now, if any? Why did he only transform now? He was already twenty--did he have the ability to change into Lemuria before this day, or was this power magically bestowed upon him recently? More importantly, how did all of this work? The blond always liked to think that he was grounded on reality, and that he wasn't the type to fall into foolish fantasies of magic and monsters...
But well, what was he supposed to do when it was all right in front of him?
"We'll probably need to plan a day for you to come over so we can talk," He laughed weakly, running his hand through his hair, "But for now...I'm feeling a bit tired. I'm not sure if it's because I'm just not used to transforming, or if I'm in shock, or what, but..." Some rest would be nice. He was kind of exhausted.

"Nope, sorry!" Eve chirped, a bounce in her step as she walked. "The nicknames are an effort to make you less boring. So, until I see some progress, and frankly, I haven't seen very much, by the way, and you have a long way to go..." She only stopped babbling on and on when Lucy decided to counter her and give her a new nickname as well. The blonde shot him a horrified stare, lips twisting into a grimace. "Flouride. Really? That's the best you can do? I mean, there are more obvious routes you can go with the name Flora..." Like something flowery. Even though she was technically not the senshi of flowers; something she had to repeat to every senshi she met.
Besides Flouride was science-y and boring. And kind of sounded like a Negaverse name. Lucy was horrible at creativity. And un-creativity equaled boring. He really needed to be less boring if he wanted to hold on to his sanity while doing his job as a Knight.
"Probably both." She shrugged. "It's been... what, almost two years? About two or three months to two years, I think, since I was introduced into this mess. So don't worry. I'll always be here to help you, 'kay?" And she had to try and goad him to use his weapon, because he didn't seem to know much else.
Note to self: Try to get more info on Knights.
