His twins look was not lost on Perdicas. He was no fool, but just because they weren't bound to a single female didn't mean they could so carelessly foist their duties upon the few other slaves in the pack. Besides outside of himself, his brothers and his father the only slaves in the pack were Achilles, who did little work, Patroclus and that creepy male Nightshade. Certainly if the Queen did not want to pass over all their duties onto her son, mate and a somewhat unreliable slave then he was fine with that. Still, he would let the Queen make the final decision, choices weren't really up to the slaves, that was the role of the Sisters and more importantly the Queen.
His eyes moved to Najara and then to Isobel. What he couldn't figure out was why Isobel was willing to miss training and then want Najara to teach her what she had missed. Why not do directly to Varia for that? Or was Isobel scared of Varia? He wouldn't blame her if she was, Varia was after all a very scary wolf. Isobel's praise was not something he was expecting, and yet he did feel a small amount of happiness, knowing that this trip, if it happened, would be a good experience for him.
Najara was a little bit appalled by Romir's actions. He was being far too...well she couldn't think of the right word for it at the moment, but he was certainly pushing the boundaries of what a slave should do, even if it was only in the presence of other family members. For being twins Romir and Perdicas were quite the opposites. She doubted greatly that the Queen would allow all of them to leave, and yet Penthesilea did have a kind heart to her, so there was a chance she would allow four slaves to take the day off to go visit family in their southern allies pack. She could not afford such a freedom right now, perhaps one day, but not now.
Her gaze turned to her sister, who she didn't realize until this moment was not extremely close with her. Training had taken up almost all of her time, so the chance to actually bond, be together and just be sisters. This could prove to be the opportunity. She had always known that Isobel and Chimera were close, the closeness that Najara and her should have probably had but never had the opportunity to. "Aunt Varia is the better teacher." She pointed out, her words slipping out before she had a chance to truly think on them. "But...yeah I can show you what you missed if you do go." Then perhaps she could see what her sister was truly like while not under the stern gaze of the Head Warrior.

Subtle undercurrents of emotion, and Romir sniffed the air carefully, shooting Najara a contrite glance as he sank down onto his belly. Dreams didn't necessarily take the day's realities into account, and damn Perdicas, he was never on the same page. For having a twin, the young wolf certainly felt lonely in this family gathering.
Controlling a heavy, heartfelt sigh only by glancing at Isobel and Najara, he crept closer to Iosef, laying down and pressing into his father's side. Here, at least, was love and understanding. Romir cast another glance at his twin, musing silently on the fact that while they'd been born together, they'd never be truly together.
The conversation had turned slightly, been dominated by the warriors, and Romir knew better than to interrupt while they were discussing something as important as training. Dropping his head onto his paws, the young wolf's violet eyes soon glazed over as he lost himself in a daydream of the trip to come. Perhaps... There was no telling who they might encounter. Was his Lady awaiting somewhere? Watching for his arrival? Wishing for his devotion and attention? It was a blissful thought, and he drifted off into a pleasant mental dialogue, his tail thumping lazily as he smiled to himself.

Chimera looked from Perdicas, back to his father, brow furrowing. He could tell by the look on Iosef's face that they were not all supposed to be saying yes. He considered volunteering to stay, but he did a quick head-count and decided the pack really could spare him. Glacier was hardly seen anymore, anyway. About time he stood up and took some work. Besides, it'd do the Sisters some good to be short a few slaves for awhile. Wasn't Varia always going on about how useless they were? Let them clean up after their own selves for a bit, then they could see how slovenly they really were. Maybe then they'd think twice before driving their males away...
"Well. If it's settled, then," he said, eager to get away from the group. It wasn't that he necessarily minded being around his family...but idle chatter annoyed him. "If we can go, come get me when we're ready to leave. If not...well, take Romir before me. He wants to go worse than anybody."
Iosef couldn't help but smile at Isobel's request for help from her sister. It was obvious, wasn't it? The eldest would do whatever it took to keep unity and cohesion amongst the siblings. Iosef had always known this about Isobel: she had inherited from both of her parents the kind of strong, gentle heart that demanded above all things to share its love.
He wondered if Najara caught on that perhaps this offer was about more than just catching up on training.
But, never mind that now. He sighed, a bit resignedly, and nudged Romir. He genuinely hoped that the dreamy-eyed youngster would become Favored by one of the Sisters, as he wasn't sure he would survive on his own. He was too soft for this sort of life. Too much like Iosef would have been, if he hadn't been taken under the wing of....well, whatever. It was settled.
"Alright, then. I'll speak with the Queen, and gather you up when it's time to leave. This will be a brief visit." And not just because the pack couldn't spare its loyal slaves...but because Iosef didn't want anybody getting any dangerous ideas from his so-called father.
