Moure listened as Danny explained why rooming with others was like the worst thing ever. The patchwork's eyebrow raised. "Ehh? Well, that's your opinion, I suppose. Crowding was the least of my worries back home." Plus, having a bunch of them in the same room meant there was more patchworks the Doctor had to get past to get to him. Meatshields were useful back home, after all...
Moure gave a bit of a laugh as she seemed to go into a bit of a fantasy state about remodeling his room. "I really don't need anything..." He began to say, but then trailed off as she spoke again. "Oh, I guess I've never been to your room, have I?" Moure said, thinking back. Well, of course he's never been to her room. For one thing, it was a fire demon's room, for another thing, it was in the DEMON dorm. And he was undead, after all. "A fountain? I thought you wouldn't like water." He said, wondering just what kind of fountain it was.
"Hah it was only the worst since you came in second pla--" The patchwork was cut off by Danny suddenly...tackling him.
Well, this probably would have been awkward if Moure and Danny weren't JUST friends, but...it probably was pretty awkward.
Moure was actually rather unfazed even though he'd just been tackled by a ghoul in his room. An eyebrow raised, a bit, but he was most surprised by her question than the actual situation. "Prom? Oh, yeah, it's coming up soon, isn't it?" Moure said, then looked at her with a slight head tilt. "No one's asked you, yet?" He then gave a nod. "Well, if you need someone to go with, you can count on me to go with you. So yes, I'll be your Escort, if you'd like."
Moure looked up at her for a moment, noticing her expectant look. He gave a bit of a laugh and said, "You know, I figure most people ask someone to prom romantically or something, but I guess the method doesn't matter." He paused, then gave a chuckle and a head shake. "Now, could you get off of me?" Moure could easily just push her off (or probably just launch her off with a good kick), but he thought he might as well ask her nicely first.

Danny wasn't hurt by Moure's comments in the least. "Nope, no one's asked me. Or ... they might have and I just didn't know. I'm not really sure how this prom thing works." She shook her head slowly, as if her brain would somehow be jogged. Mind you, she was still on top of Moure.
Moure said yes! Well ... yeah he said yes! Danny bit her lip. What was she supposed to do now? Danny sat up and tapped her chin. Was she supposed to be ecstatic? Or maybe ... she was supposed to act cool, like it was a normal thing?
Danny decided to just speak her mind, "Uhm ... I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to act. Do we celebrate?"
Oh jack! She was supposed to ask him romantically? Danny did not do romance. Her face went bright red, and she said, "SH-should I d-d-d-do it over again? I mean I don't ... I can't ... " Was prom really romantic, or was Moure just teasing her. "I didn't know it was a romantic thing, I thought ... I just thought that"

Moure gave a nod. "I see, I see...Although, I'm probably not the best to ask what Prom's all about. I just know it's a dance...?" Moure's knowledge of things like high school and dances? Very, very minimal. LThis is the first time Moure's ever even been to a high school, let alone a high school dance, after all.
Moure watched as Danny seemed to diliberate what she was supposed to be doing now. At her question, Moure gave a shrug. "I'd assume we celebrate, but I actually have no idea..." He paused, looking over at the Eii. "Want to play another round to celebrate, then?"
That sounded like a good celebration, at least to the Runner.
Moure then watched as Danny practically had a...well, a melt-down, of sorts. "Whoa there, calm down." He motioned with his hands for her to slow it down. "I think that Prom is, like, a dance that people usually romantically go to. BUT, we're just going more as friends than as actually date-type of 'dates' so I think it's totally fine that it's not romantic. Don't worry, don't worry. You did everything right, it's all good." Well, Moure probably wasn't really right about Prom, but that was okay, he didn't know any differently in any case.

Dancing! Right! Danny knew about that part. "Yeah! I'm a good dancer, just wait, it'll be awesome" Danny still didn't know what a "prom" was though. So far she had the info that it was a dance, and that there was a king and queen. Sounded like a solid base.
Danny sighed with relief. Romantics was not Danny's forte, nor would it ever be. "As long as no one thinks we're together ... cause I mean ... I don't ..." Danny's face flustered up and she covered her face with her hands. As long as things weren't romantic, that was okay.
Oh but wait, shoot! Well if that was the case, prom was only like a week away. Danny needed to make PREPARATIONS.
...
Though what preparations, she didn't know. She just had to get going!
Danny slammed her body into Moure's to form a hug of sorts and then toussled his hair. "I would love to stay, but I have to start uhm ... planning ... things!" Danny's tail was wrapped around Moure- she forgot about the whole "no fire" thing in her happiness.
Danny stood up and said, "I'll see you later Moure!" She waved with both her hands and tail, and the bounced out the door. First things first: dress.

Moure gave a nod, some relief coming from the fire demon's words. Moure didn't know how to formally dance, so this would be an...interesting event for the patchwork. "Good, since I'm not too certain about my own dancing abilities..." He'd probably rush things, knowing himself and his usual efficiency need.
Moure gave a hand wave and shook his head. "Neither do I. I'm sure a bunch of other people are just going as friends..." Moure gave a head shake, not even being able to fathom being considered Danny's...romantic interest. Guhhh, no way. Not that she wasn't a good ghoul, Moure just didn't understand ghouls when it came to dating. But he understood Danny just fine as a friend. (Thus in his mind, Danny is not a ghoul for dating, since he can actually understand her. His logic can be...interesting sometimes.)
Then, Danny seemed to realize she needed to get things prepared for the Prom. At least that's what Moure gathered from her reaction. (He actually already had a chauffeur's suit that Dr. Cphira had sent with when he'd come to the Academy, so he was just planning on wearing that. It was the only formal outfit he actually had, anyway.)
Then, Danny hugged him. But it seemed she'd forgotten his whole "FIRE IS ADAKSDNAFDN" thing, since her tail participated in the hug too. As soon as she released him from the hug, the patchwork quickly stepped backwards, warily watching the flame on the tail as if it was a hostile animal he needed to escape from. Moure looked up at her and managed to respond with, "Ahh, okay. You, you do that. I'll be here..." He was still watching the flame though.
Then Danny got up and bounded away, and took a moment to watch her bounce away down the hall. "See you later Danny." He called, then looked back into his room.
He walked over to the bed again, looking at the Scario Kart game that was still on. Gibralter has apparently popped out of nowhere again, since suddenly the boogeymon was out by the other controller, sitting down by it. He gave the patchwork a curious look, and then Moure gave a laugh. "So, you want to play, do you? Well, let's give it a shot. Just press buttons, alright?" And with that, Moure started up the races again.
It had been a good day.
