Sashimi listened with interest, "Well then maybe we could bring him here sometime? My buddy Tobe's pretty prone to accidents too, but he loves sweet things like some of these berries so i usually help him flap over here on the empty days when he's not taking care of babies. I'm sure we could get your friend here no problem if you think he'd like it..."

"That'd be cool. So your friend is a nanny?" It was rare for Lunar to hear about male nannies. "Is he from your flock, too?"

"Yeah, we're both from happy hour's." replied Sashimi. "Tobe loves taking care of the little guys, but he used to be an inventor." he pecked at a berry to see if it was sweet or not, thinking he might bring some back to Tobeko since he was here anyway. "He hurt himself real bad about three seasons ago. So now that's all he really can do too." he made a sour face and looked at the berry. "Blah, this isn't a sweet one but it is a neat color." he held the sour blackish purple berry out to lunar, "Might make some nice ink, yeah?"

"Ah. I see. I'm sorry." Lunar said. She watched Sashimi's reaction to the berry with a smile. "It could, thanks." She dropped it into the pouch from earlier, as she had carried it along. The last thing the white bird would do is chance any scavengers or thieves finding it. "Is your flock dangerous?"

"Dangerous?" Repeated Sashimi with a snort of laughter, "No way! Happy Hour's got everyone working together and helping each other and stuff anyway we can. It's the nicest place you could think of and best of all during the cold and the snowy seasons the humans that like to make music down below us always put out neat things. Some of it's pretty useful and shiny." he smiled, he loves being a part of Happy Hour's flock, there was always stuff to do and people to chat with and most of them were very good pidge.
He wondered what had sparked such a question and asked, "Why? What's your flock like, you're from Half Price's flock right?" he'd not heard much about the flock that lived under Half Price over at the station, none of the members ever seemed to really wanna talk about it, some had even seemed scared to talk about it.

Lunar blinked at the description, enamored by it. Then she wondered if it was an opinion of a high-class side. Hopefully not, but if her flock could be like that, couldn't others?
"Yeah, I'm from that flock. It's okay." she shrugged. Technically someone from her upbringing shouldn't even be away from the station. If she gave enough away that could be told to others, she would probably be restricted like flockmates struggling in her business and have to fight for resources like they had to. Lunar liked Sashimi, but she couldn't risk anything no matter how vocal she wanted to be about the truth.

"Ah.. It's okay, yeah? Well, that's more then i've gotten from any one else. Mysterious, must be quite a shindig you all have in there to be so secret." he smiled. "An okay one."
He could sense there was more she wanted to say but decided not to push it, it was her right to keep it in. "The nice thing about Happy Hour's flock is you can't help but feel good, everyone's equal and everyone helps. It's a nice feeling." he said as he looked over some more berries, wondering what kind of colors lunar might like.

"Oh, really? That's good. Flocks should be like that, right?" When they didn't have stupid leaders, she supposed. Lunar was peering around the area, not really wanting to look or make eye contact with Sashimi. The less-inclined she was to talk about her flock, the better. "So what are churches like?"

"Well... I know a lot of humans go to them once a week and make music." said Sashimi, "And there's lots of neat stuff up in the attic where our roost is, and lots of neat places." he chuckled, "I've seen nannies have to fish their charges out of some pretty interesting places. Oh, it's a great place for little pidge too, there's a lot of little areas they can play and build little forts... Yeah... Makes me wish i was still a little poof."
He pecked at another berry and found this one to be sweet, Tobe would love this one! He looked around and found a little mesh bag and set the berry inside before picking another one. "Hey, this one's a cool color, but it's really sweet too! I bet you'd like it." he said offering it to her.

She just listened and nodded. Lunar had to look when offered a berry. "I do. Thanks." It made her wonder if she should find berries for Sashimi. Probably. He was doing so much and she had done nothing in return except offer inking. She could guess that it probably wouldn't be necessary. "Do you want any berries?" she asked, then started pecking around herself before she could get an answer. How awkward.

"Aw, sure." he smiled, "How about we gather a bunch and then divide them up? You can have the ones you want and i'll take the sweet ones that are left to Tobe."
He flitted around looking at more berries and bring them back into a little pile. He was just thinking of asking Lunar what colors she preferred when when suddenly there was a distant boom of thunder. He looked up and saw the light begin to dim through the thick canvas, "Uh oh.. sounds like the sky might start leaking again soon."

Lunar Rover didn't wander too far while looking herself. She startled at the thunderclap and almost dropped her berries.
"Should we get going, then?" she asked, not wanting to be caught flying in wetness nor fly under the scary noise.

"well.. It sounds pretty close. We might be better off staying in here until it passes." said Sashimi hopping back over to the pile to place his berry. "The water can't get in here, and we could just head back when it's over."
There was a bright flash and another rumble of thunder, closer this time, made the glass decorations on display at the front of the greenhouse rattle as the wind began to make the canvas sway. He looked over at Lunar with an uneasy smile. "Yeah, i think we'd be better off staying put..."

The station had always been sheltered from nature's attacks. Lunar didn't really know how to react to the ferocity of the storm. She was scared, she knew that much, but wasn't about to make a big deal of it. Sashimi looked okay, so maybe it wasn't that bad?
"Okay then." Lunar tried to ignore the rattling. "There're some sweet berries over here."

"Aw, cool." said Sashimi, "heh, Tobe's gonna get fat from all these."
Another boom of thunder crackled though the air, loud enough to make him jump a little in surprise. He looked up at the waving ceiling as the light dimmed even more. "Think it's loud enough? Heh.." he tried to sound nonchalant but this looked like it could get pretty nasty. He flapped over to Lunar and looked around, "Maybe we should find a stronger place to wait this out, yeah?" Just then the rain came, thundering down on the canvas with a steady roar.
