Lissy watched him curiously as if he was doing things she didn't understand. Though she was just watching to see what else she could ask about, whether it was about something he was wearing or the weird colours in his hair or about what he was saying.
"What happened to your brother then? You have an argument? You would look good in the circus you all ready have the funny hair!" Costumes would just add to his weirdness - see simple!
She looked at him wide eyed and eager to hear what he was going to say mostly because she was hoping for some dramatic conspiracy that happened between him and his brother - after all no one just took off for no reason! She smiled at him and waited... please let it be a good story!

Warwick's fingers went into his hair almost immediately at her statement, as if to check that it was still there -- as if to make sure it was still as he'd left it, and nothing crazy had happened. Of course, the mish mash of colors probably was crazy enough for a girl of ten or so.
"...well." Awkward questions. He skirted around thoughts of his brother, struggling to find some other way to redirect, and then found his smile, his tone gone joking. Teasing maybe. "I tried out for the circus, once. But not so much the silly kind, it was the intense kind. They had really silly costumes, and did a lot of acrobatics. French."

Lissy was still sure he would look normal in a stupid costume - after all did he not have a mirror? She looked at him and then shook her head.
"Why didn't you join it? You would have fitted right in!" Lissy thought it was worth mentioning this fact, after all he had looked in a mirror right? Only people with as crazy hair as him belonged in a circus and he had drawings all over him - that was also a little odd! See Lissy was observant... maybe a little too observant.
"But what about your brother?" She wasn't one to let interesting topics slide... at least not normally. She did however spot her mother heading towards her, it seemed he might get off lightly after all.

"Bro went clean and uptight, you know what I mean." He mimed straightening a tie, his own eyes flitting upward to consider the approaching woman and -- put two and two together. He moved quickly to grab his bag and take a couple steps back, still smiling easily, though. People got pissy about strange men [especially strange tattooed men] talking to their kids, something he was more than well aware of. Best not to give the poor woman any fodder.
"And the circus wasn't interested, I guess. Didn't have the, uh. The audition down pat." At least she got her answers, didn't she?

Nope she didn't really know what he meant. Also she didn't really understand ties so his mime went over her head.
Lissy!
She turned around to see her mother calling to her and looking annoyed. Well she should be use to Lissy running off by now! She turned back to the guy and shook her head.
"You should try again sometime then you won't be on your own!" She turned again as her mother shouted again and sighed.
"I have to go... mums annoyed again. Go find a circus! Bye!" She smiled again and ran down to her mother where it was quite obvious her mother was telling her off and was even more obvious that Lissy didn't care one little bit.
