Ghostpaw nodded to himself. He was right. The creature was not fully functioning in the head. It could be useful, but how? The skinwalker watched the unfortunate Soquili, trying to formulate a way to corrupt the creature, if it could be, and how to do it. This would be a delightful challenge.

For his own part, Bile was contentedly oblivious to any sinister designs on him and his habits. Right now, he was occupied with the more important task at hand, enjoying his little snack. But unfortunately, a rat had very little blood and very little meat; a few chews was all the enjoyment that he got out of the creature before it was gone, nothing but a memory that would be lost all too soon. It wasn't until he was out of rat that he returned his attention to the larger prey animal, lurking just out of reach. In the safety of the darkness, he stared out at the skinwalker, licking his lips thoughtfully as he contemplated the possibility of the prey animal getting closer again.
