if you've never operated an angel before and are used to low-end markers, go with the ion. stock ion parts are really good. not in my case... i had an ion for about a week and completely hated it... it was such a gas hog... more of a blender than the old angels... and just looked really cheap....
this being said, there are many upgrades for the ion which can make it a much better gun ie. blackheart or T board... new bolt... new trigger and def. a new feed neck as the stock one is garbage... as well as many ways to up the looks... i loooove the new trinity bodies... but there are also many upgrades for angels... new feedneck.... volumizer... new reg... new grips... new board... new back plate...
so i would say get the angel... its a much better gun, and at that price, if ur getting the halop as well, thats not a bad deal at all... make sure the guy is giving it to you with a first stage reg though (ASA) otherwise u'll have to buy one seperately... not that big of a deal, but thats more $...
