It was a hot summer day on the air base in the desert. the heat raised off the ground as a sidewinder slithered across the ground. in the distance a low rumble could be heared. slowly it got closer and closer to the base. it was a motorcycle, and on it rode a man clad in leather and steel. His sunglasses glared in the bright desert sun. He reached the base finally and rode through to the hangers. He stopped in front of one that had its doors open slightly. he grabbed his bag from is motorcycle and walked into the hanger. Not seeing anyone he calls out, "is there anyone by the name of Cid here".

A man in a black jacket and a black undershirt that barely went below his chest walked out from behind an old airplane, he was wipping grease off his hands as he came out. He saw the man standing there and said, "Yeah, I'm Cid, and who might you be?"

The man walked towards Sid, "just a traveler passing through," he man shrugs, still getting closer. "Children in the town said that there was a ghost of a pilot that lived here, but since i see you here, I think that the story is a little false."

Sid had a wrench in his hand, which he lay on the ground, he walked towards the "Traveller" and said holding out his hand, "So...What brings you to my base? You just sight seeing or what? I'm afraid there ain't much to see round here pal." He had a fairly thick southwestern accent.

Sid ran over and said, "HOLY $@!& WHAT IS THAT!" He suddenly realized what it was, "IS THAT A GREMLIN?! I THOUGHT THEY WERE ONLY MYTHS!" He was freaking out, it wasn't everyday that a Gremlin was pulled from his jet engine.

"Yeah sure as hell is one," he switched hands to look at the bite, "man that hurt, but luckly the little bugger didn't brake the skin."
Then the man paused, "i guess after seeing this, you got some questions don't you," he looks around quickly for something to put the gremlin in, and finds a glass jar. he thooses the gremlin in and puts the lid on, and wlaks away. he stops and turns around. he reaches in his boot and pulls out a knive. the gremlin cowers in fear. he man jabs the top of the lid several times and just air holes in it.
walking back to Sid, "I'm sorry about that, my names Michael Van Helsing. I'm a hunter for an organization called the Keepers of What Never Was and I'm not just passing through. I'm hear to scout, we've heared of your powers over metal."

Sid looked at him in suprise and said, "So what, are you here to recrute me or somethin?" He stood with his hands on his hips looking a bit confused and a bit pissed that some guy just invaded his property, "So what else do you know about me huh? I've never told anyone about my powers."

"Well, for starters, you where in the military, but anyone could no that, you have an older brother that you have no clue where he is and nor do we sadly," Michael just kind of laughed that one off. "(cough) and your little sister was killed by one of the Keepers' worst pains, the Draco Syndicate, in New York." Michael could tell Sid was both surprized and pissed off. "Now i know your not happy with me right now, but what i'm offering is a chance to strike back at the fiends that killed your sister and help keep things like that gremlin over there under raps". he pointed to the where the gremlin was and noticed that it had opened the jar and escaped. "Damn it, he got out," hw looked arround quickly but didn't see it. "not to worry thought, i scared him off for a while, and they really don't to to much damage, infact some actually fix stuff. that one may have just changed his ways."

Sid was still confused and then he said, "Your saying you can give me the resources so I can do some damage to the Draco Syndicate? Hmm..." He held his hand up to his chin, "And what would I have to do to join?"

Michael walked over to his bag and pulled out his weapon belt and put them on. "All you have to do," He turned around, "is stand your ground against me." He draws his sword in his right and his boot knive in his left and charges Sid. (his gun is at his hip.)

Sid sees this and yells out, "AW @%&$!" He wasl ucky that his Spear was in arms reach, as he grabbed it and ran backwards trying to avoid an attack.
