Indigo set down her fork. "...Are there only evil magic things?" She had to know what he knew. She had to know what he thought! If he knew what those things were called... how deeply was he involved? Indigo really didn't want to find out he was a chompa summoner. She didn't want to fight him! Even though apparently she couldn't fight well at all unless she healed them to death.

When Indigo set her fork down, Naois finally dropped his own. He looked across the table at his friend and felt the twisting in his stomach turn into a pain. By the end of the night he was going to have a damn ulcer. He was sure of it. The way she said his name made him wonder if she was feeling out just how psycho he might be. Was he 'la la la na na boo boo' wierd but harmless? Or was he 'Eigh eigh eigh stabbity stabbity in the shower' Naois forced his lips upwards into a tense smile. "Well no. There are others out there. Someone else is doing the same really. Handing out magic tokens to make kids magical. So they can put down the chompahs and their summoners."

The crazy pink lady... Aphrodite, if she remembered the name correctly. "You sure know a lot about this." She stared at him, her face strangely blank. She might as well come out and accuse him. "Which side are you on then? Do you summon those things, or fight them?"

Her face... he couldn't read it. The way she looked so tense. Naois felt himself leaning back in his chair as she would ask him which side he was on. It was clear to him that she thought he'd lost it. Sometimes he wondered that himself. Usually right before he changed. Naois glanced towards the small personal balcony that was attached to the living room area across from the kitchen. "I used to think I could never hurt anyone." he started to say. He may as well finish his crazy, then change. Maybe she wouldn't run away screaming from him. As Feywild he had to admit he had some degree of 'cute' going on. Indy liked cute.
"I mean...I don't want to. But...everything get's really black and white it seems. I can't blame it on the magic though. It's just a part of who I am." Naois made a small gesture with his hand towards Indigo. "I just needed to share this with someone. I know you don't believe me, but it's really hard to deal with on my own. Magic and chompahs and...and transformations. It's hardly like the games Indy. I'm not one of the ones that summons them...but at the same time I am the one that has to deal with them. I'm sorry...I was told not to talk to others about this but..I need someone. I...I need my best friend to tell me I'm not doing the wrong thing."

"Did I ever say I didn't believe you?" She countered. Even though it really sounded ridiculous, and any normal person would have said Naois was crazy... He was her friend. "I'm just waiting for proof. I'm here for you, you should know that. But... I need proof."
That was reasonable, right?

Proof... She wasn't calling him crazy. Wasn't asking him what he seasoned his chicken with. Was this the way a normal person was supposed to react? Naois looked across the table at Indigo as he lifted his soda can to his lips. His hand trembled lightly, but not so much so that he had a problem latching his lips on the can and draining it of half it's contents in three long drafts. Proof.
Proof. Naois set the can on the table and pushed himself back in his chair. "Oh...ohkay..." he mumbled and wished for perhaps the first, and hopefully last, time in his life that he was old enough to drink. Proof... Naois tried to smile at Indigo as he reached to his right hand. He gripped the silver and moonstone ring on his ring finger and gave it three twists clockwise. It seemed so..cliche. Three twists to the right and all...a fairy notion from one of his mothers old stories. Yet...the validation of those stories seemed cemented as in the next few seconds Naois entire body seemed to flicker with a magical hue. Within it's misty embrace, he felt himself change. Growing just a little shorter, his body mass shifting, and his cloths losing the comfortable looseness to be replaced with the tight fabric of his uniform.

The fact he was willing to show her proof was good enough. He didn't flounder and say he couldn't. He agreed. Indigo watched as he twisted the ring. So that was his beacon. Through the misty haze she couldn't see the transformation until she was staring at a redheaded woman. She blinked.
Blinked again.
Stood up and moved closer.
Grabbed his boob.
"Oh good god they're real." Not what she was expecting.

Naois mind...blanked. He, or rather she, stared at Indigo. She had just changed into a girl. Mind you, she didn't have her wings out yet, or her bow....but still...Indy was staring at her with enough shock as it was. All the same...
"Y-you know..." She stammered after Indigo would announce the realness of his breast. "I've heard it's alright for girls to be this..familiar with each other but..I'm still kinda...you know...a guy in here Indy."

She looked down at her hand and very quickly let go. Maybe she hung out with guys too much. She was used to getting poked and honked randomly, since she didn't game with any girls.
"S... sorry. It's just really... surprising. That's all. But you know, that's ok. I mean, this... this is ok." She gestured to him ... her as she backed up a step. "Not what I was expecting or anything. But still... Everyone is... different. Right?" She wondered if she should show him...

Feywild managed a faint half smile as Indigo would release her chest and step back from her. She seemed to be stammering, not that she could blame her. "It's fine...take your time." She said with a small gestured back to the chair Indigo had vacated. "I'm personally still getting used to this, and I've had longer to wrap my brain around this then you have." Fey rolled her shoulders and decided not to double whammy Indigo just yet with her wings.
"Different is...a good word for my change. I sort of flipped out when I realized what had happened. If there had not been the chompah around I may have yelled at the one who gave me my token." Feywild looked down at her hands and began to chew on her bottom lip. "Seriously though...I'm glad you haven't run off screaming." No..she just grabbed her boob instead...not something she had foreseen, but it was better then any other scenario that had played out in her head.

"Y... yeah well, I'm actually not all that surprised by this to be honest." Naois seemed like he... she was having a hard time coping with being magical. "When I was little, I used to pretend I was magical. I wanted to be a super hero and have magical powers and get cute costumes." She ran her fingers through her hair nervously.
"I might have run off screaming... if...." She might as well come out and say it. "...if a chompa hadn't tried to eat my face."

"Well I think that is normal of kids. I used to pretend I was a fai---" Feywild began to explain while brushing off Indigo's childhood fancies as something very normal. However, as she would admit to being attacked by a chompah...her face immediately lost all trace of unease. becoming quiet serious, she stepped towards Indy and reached to grab at her shoulders. "What!? When!? Where!? Did it hurt you? " Fey's eyes dropped down, searching over Indy as if she thought she could magically spot a bandage of some sort somewhere.

"AH!" Being grabbed so suddenly startled her. "I thought you weren't used to being this friendly with girls." She turned his earlier comment on him. "It was a while ago. I... I didn't get hurt. ... Another killed it." She slipped a hand into her pocket. She fingered the button, and silently mouthed the words that would unlock her transformation.
There was a flurry of gold and blue light before it dimmed to black, and then faded, and Indigo stood there in her cream hood and halter. "..."

Feywild would have berated Indigo for being foolish, but there was a bit too much relief falling upon her now to care. So long as someone else showed up and dealt with the Chompah, she couldn't care less about bad jokes. Before she had a chance to say anything more Indigo seemed to say something. But she hadn't heard a word pass her lips. She would have heard it too, being so close and all. A light nearly blinded her, and Fey lifted her hands to her face. Covering her eyes, she didn't remove them until the light was gone.
When Fey looked upon Indigo...she found her jaw dropping and her head cocking at a 'what the heck' sort of angle.
"So...thats why you didn't think I had spiked the chicken..." She finally managed to say.

"Ah... yeah kind of." She rubbed her hooded head slightly. "I haven't been sure what to make of this... and haven't seen one of those chompas since I got my beacon. So this is actually the first time I've.... you know, done this since then." She suddenly got an irritated look on her face. "You said you don't like hurting things. Does that mean you can actually... hurt the chompa?" She demanded, half pouting like an upset child.
