Okay Kittywitch, first post in the guild!! Coding confuses me so much, so I won't be attempting it with this post. I hope I didn't already cover this one, but this song is for throwdown. It's called What it Means to Be Loved by Mark Schultz. It's a beautiful song that I don't think many people have been exposed to, and I wanted to put it in the spotlight as my first contribution to the guild.

I enlisted Kittywitch, whose computer is Boss to help me record it, and discovered that she'd already sung my favorite Journey song. Rather than compete, I picked another. And this is the result.

I've been so busy with work that I haven't had much time to sing recently. But I haven't forgotten you guys! 29. The SubstituteKittywitch Just Like Heaven by The CureThe irony is, I thought "Hm, what song would prove I'm cool? Well, singing something by the Cure would improve my goth cred, but I want to do 'Lovesong' for 'Silly Love Songs'; and I don't think I can pull off 'Burn'. Just Like Heaven it is!" So while the theme of this episode was "Mr Shue wants to make the kids sing eighties music, and kids hate eighties music."; here I am singing eighties music. This song is as old as I am. xd It's okay, Mr. Shue, the eighties had some good music.

I really wanna post some recordings but every time I try to record all I get is massive feedback on my headset and without them the quality is terrible. Le sigh.

Do you have any idea why? Not the slightest. If I plug the dang things the mic picks up nothing but noise and I have no idea whats even causing it. I've unplugged all electronics, ac, fans, changed rooms and I still can't figure it out!

The headset picks up mostly that noise, without its still there - not as loud but enough to alter the recordings. ... I think my house just hates me.

arnesh i think about 2 people in the whole thing can sing kind of good I know for a fact I'm not one of them. But we aren't here to show off how well we can sing, we're here to have fun doing it. My good fellows, I know that we don't really have any rules or guidelines for this guild, but I'm starting to think we might want to draw up some. Just something along the lines of "Try your best, don't make fun of other people or yourself."
