Quiya sighed. It was not the first time a guest was angered to the point of releasing the creatures. A whistle sprang to life and the creatures stopped, some walking, some crawling, some flying, back into their cages. QUiya sighed. "They don't understand do they?" She asked the little martyn, picking him up from the cage. She hummed softly, watching the remaining guest with quiet observance.

Standing back up, Ari was surprised at the events she had just witnessed. Even more so by the quiet obedience of each creature as they returned to their respective places. She quietly approached the woman in charge.
"Does that happen often? The species seem so tame. You must have trained them well."

"They respect me, I respect them," Quiya said softly, humming to the little martyn, now squirming in her arms. "The bond one animal has to another is more of respect, kinship, and protection than true human emotion," She set down the martyn, and he scurried to a water bowl, dunking his face in it, causing the Dematsari to chuckle.

She smiled as well at the antics of the small creature.
"I see. That is amazing."

Quiya smiled and bowed her head in thanks. She took great pride in her relationship with her animals, even if a few of them still were reluctant towards her care. Especially the spiteful imps, who caught her tail on fire more often than not.

Curious to know more, Ari looked over at some of the larger cages.
"What different creatures do you keep?"

"Many, many creatures," Quiya said, following Ari's gaze. "Those cages hold some of my larger creatures. A unicorn, asp, phoenix, and a dragon hatchling reside in those. The dragon hatchling however, is a dear friend's, I am holding and caring for it until she can come by and bring it to a new home," She moved closer to the larger cages and came to one holding a brilliant white unicorn. She muttered something and passed her hand over the lock, it popping open. She opened the cage and invited the customer inside the cage, her hand on the slightly nervous unicorn's neck.

Ari cautiously stepped closer, not wanting to spook the already nervous creature. Her eyes widened in amazement at the majesty of the unicorn.
"It's beautiful!"
She kept her voice a low whisper.
"I have never seen such a pure looking creature."

Quiya confidently patted the unicorn's neck and smiled. "Indeed, they say even their blood is silver," She said.

"Silver blood?"
She tilted her head in confusion.
"That doesn't seem possible."
She paused, taking into consideration the many events that had taken place since she first came to this land. Most of them wouldn't even fit into the category of possibilities. Shaking her head, she smiled.
"That is very unusual, but an amazing thing to know."

Quiya smiled in return and patted the unicorn's neck again before leaving the cage, holding it open if the guest wished to leave.

Ari looked at the door, wishing to see more of what the carnival had to offer. Still, she was fascinated by the beautiful unicorn. Raising a hand up, she looked at the unicorn and then over to Quiya.
"May I?"

Quiya nodded and smiled. Usaully the only guests that came were those coming to yell at her, or those that were in love with only the power of the creatures that lay within the Emporium.

Using as much care and caution as she could, Ari placed her hand softly on the unicorn's neck. She stroked it gently before smiling and stepping out of the cage. She gave a small bow to Quiya.
"Thank you so very much. You have many wonderful creatures here."
