Some movies make very good games though. Look at the LotR series. Return of the King was one of the best hack and slash games on the PS2. Also, LotR TTA is second only to FFX on the PS2. I also agree that Spider-man 2 is a great rendition of the movie though it takes quite a few liberties with plot.It really all depends on the movie and also on the developers who handle the transition between mediums.
There are also the movies that make horrible games. let's look at E.T. This game was so bad, a huge number of units were buried in a landfill...
On the other side of this, what of video games that have been made into movies (I.E. Mortal Kombat etc...)
