Jitokeza had glanced over and managed to suppress a chuckle when realize it was time to just say it. Of course, that didn't mean she would realize what he was saying right way-- so that was all he decided to say right away.

"...the dawn?" she asked, a little surprised that it just seemed to happen in the blink of an eye. She looked from Jitokeza, to the rising sun, back to him.
"Yes," she said with a warm smile. "I think that is it."

He smiled and looked out to the sunrise, pleased she seemed to get it right away this time.
"I thought so," he said, continuing after a quiet pause, "See what I mean with the adjective? How many can you think of that begin with K?"
