.....I LOVE THE FINAL FANASTY SERIES....I HAVE EVERY ONE OF THE GAMES.....(sorry forgot to turn off caps lock).....but truthfully i think final fanasty V, VII, IX, and X....were the best....

Quite possibly one of my favorite FFs. I am a sap and the love story made my insides happy. The Triple Triad took up hours of my life. I know a lot of people hate Rinoa, but I was fond of her. I thought she started out spoiled and all, but her character developed into much more.

I bought that, and then it had a big scratch on the first disc, so I couldn't play it. (It was used.) THis is how the conversation went with my dad.
Dad: Is this a slasher game?
Me: No, dad.....
*We come home.*
Me: Dad! Come watch the first FMV with me!
*Dad sees Squall get his face bloodied*
Dad: I thought this wasnt a slasher game?

I love FF8, its one of my all time favorites!!

I'm only on disc 2 of the game but it is one of the best. I just don't understand the FFVII craze. It's good but I didn't find it that good. I like IX the best so far.

I loved the junction system, but hated the draw system... yet I know one wouldn't really have worked without the other, so I guess that's somewhat of a paradox. sweatdrop
Chimerachan - I defeated X-ATM092 as well, so I can confirm it's possible! whee I got lucky with Selphie's limit breaks, by getting multiple thundaga and ultima spells. >_>

I like FFVIII but I like FFIX better. But that's just my opinion. But, then again, I haven't beaten FFVIII yet XD My friend won't give me the other discs to play it x.x

Plain an simple, the story just plain sucks.
The game play was ok, i didnt like the card system for upgrading your weapons....and lastly too many whiney or anxiety/emo characters.
im more of an old school ff fan...6 and below. out of the new things i think i only really like 9 the most it was a breath of fresh air from all the emo/anxiety/skitso/hyper/damsel in distress/whimpy characters they had going in the last few games.

I still enjoy final fantasy 8 myself. = ) I'm just not very fond of the whole, drawing the magic n GF's thing x.x; I liked all the characters too

My all time fav final fantasy.....the plot was beautiful even if it was frekin long as hell. I love the movie graphics....they were amazing for the time. heart

Final Fantasy VIII is my favorite of the series, which I know shocks a lot of people.
To be honest, I'm not sure why. Maybe the story just clicked with me at the time. Squall is my second favorite game character of all time (next only to Vincent. ^^), which has a lot to do with it I'm sure. Mind you the character I hate the most is also in the game (*cough*Rinoa*cough*). I'm also not a fan of romance stories, but still I like this game.
I really enjoyed the card game (even though at first it was so maddening I would avoid cards at all costs), one it clicks its very amusing. I know I couldn't manage it at all until for some reason it just clicked for me when I was on the space station. sweatdrop
I also love the Junction system. I've never been a person who uses a lot of magic, so I never had to worry about depleting my stats. Even so, I always have one magic user/healer character and keep extras stocked on the other characters I don't use.
All in all, I just really enjoy the game, even if I couldn't tell you why.
