Kizuka copied the motions in place, feeling a few butterflies in his stomach, not sure if he was really up to the amble. It was pretty cool how natural Nata was at this, the jackals barely noticing the female's presence.
"That...that is pretty cool." he mumbled, trying to calm his nerves. "I-I guess I have to go now right..?" The male hyena took a deep breath before diving in, he circled around jackals, trying his hardest to keep his gaze on a small rock that was a few yards away from Nata. If he kept his eyes on that object, then they wouldn't think he was too threatening. Now, if only the vultures would go around to annoying those canines again.
Fortunately for Kizuka, the vultures were very hungry, so it didn't take long for them to swoop in on the jackals' meal again. Just as soon as the jackals went out to snap at the buzzards, Kizuka ran in as fast as he could, clamping on a random part of the carcass. Tearing it apart, he bolted back to Nata, much like a young pup running to his mother. He dropped the stolen meat -- or rather piece of bone down at Nata's paws.
"Well..." he said, staring at the bone, feeling a bit dumb, "...Practice makes perfect...?"

Nata couldn't help it. She laughed - not unkindly. "A bone is a good start. Besides, they're handy, bones are. Chewing on them when it's dry keeps your mouth wet. Besides, it was a good first try. They didn't notice you, did they?"

He had to admit, even though he did succeed, the hyena couldn't help but be a bit discouraged, scrounging up a bone of all things. "...I guess..." he mumbled, but trying hard to put up a happy face. "They didn't notice me." he agreed, that was something to be proud of wasn't it?

"And that's the important bit, not being noticed - or rather, not being noticed as a threat. After that, it will all smooth over and you just need more practice. Keep going on jackals before you step up to lions, though, alright?"
Nata was pretty pleased with her good deed for the day. Give a hyena a chunk of meat, and he'd eat for the day; teach a hyena the amble and he'd eat for the rest of his life. If he managed to grab any meat.

Kizuka nodded, feeling a small smile form, "Yeah." he said, with more strength to his voice, picking up whatever was left of his small self-esteem. "Practice makes perfect, so I'll just keep practicing." he stared at the bone, "At least I don't have to try and hunt with his bright white coat." he attempted as a passing joke, "I'm seen during all hours of the day and night with this bright white coat."
"...Thank you very much..." he finally added sheepishly, "I-I don't know where I would be if you weren't there to help me."

"I wander the savannah passing my ways on to other hyenas so that all may have full stomachs. It was good to meet you - keep practicing, and enjoy your meat!" Nata Bhienne gave her tail a friendly wag, and then wandered off in search of more good to do. Or more food. Whichever came first.

"It was nice meeting you too..." he continued in his sheepish voice, "A-and I will!" as soon as he caught some meat that is. Kizuka-bui watched her wander off, then looked at the ground where his bone lay. He pawed at it a little, a small grin on his face.
He would get better.
