Nicholas was in big trouble now. As Ian ran towards him Nicholas put the Desert Eagle back in his right pocket and moved his hands back as he unsheated both of his katanas and held them in both of his hands. He jumped slightly to the side to avoid Ian's blade hitting him in the chest but unfortunately it cut him in his left arm. As he landed Nicholas ran at Ian and moved his right foot up as he attempted to hit Ian in between his legs.

Ian quickly moved his right leg up to block the kick, it hurt a bit, but it succeeded most in making Ian move back slightly. As Ian stood there, he wasn't far from Nicholas so he sent his katana down towards Nicholas's head, attempting to chop his head in two like a melon, if Nicholas wasn't quick, Ian's attack would be fatal.
Ian Hunter: "You're becoming a nuisance!"

Nicholas was more aware of his surroundings than before and had predicted that it wouldn't succeed. Nicholas pushed back with his left leg and moved his left arm as he held the blade horizontally. The attack made by Ian hit the katana pushing it down but luckily it gave enough time for Nicholas to avoid gaining any damage from the attack. He then landed on his feet and jumped forward. When he was in slashing radius of Ian he moved his right hand diagonally in an attempt to cut Ian. He wasn't aiming for any specific part of Ian's body he just wanted to hurt him.

As Nicholas aimed to slash Ian, Ian dashed back several feet to avoid Nicholas's attack. Ian moved back and away from Nicholas to a certain extent so he could extrapolate the situation properly. First, Ian looked around at the way Nicholas was positioned with both of the katanas in his hands, he continued to notice the rust, and garbage that filled the hallway.
Ian Hunter: "So . . . now that we've began to know each other better, there are a few more questions that I would like to ask you before I kill you. Why did you really decide to come to this town? What darkness are you harboring in your heart to be drawn here like you have been? What reason do you intend to stay here as you are right now? Do you seek redemption, or condemnation for your former offenses?"
While Ian was hurt, he wasn't as wounded in his current state as he appeared, he was also fatigued, yet he had plenty of energy to continue. The kid was completely unreal right now, all evidence should be pointing to him dying after being shot, it should at least have phased him, there wasn't any state of shock on Ian's face. It was unlike him, the Ian that had been walking with Harry, James, Cheryl, Cybil, Douglas, and Nicholas was much kinder, he had no desire to hurt anyone who was innocent, but the term "innocent" was a term that differed between the two fabrics of his being. As Ian stood there with his blood-stained crimson-colored hair, his irises continued to glow red, the shadows around the upper part of his face extended, but it didn't turn his entire face black, it created more symbols. Shortly afterwards, the shadows dissipated and became red glowing extended parts of the symbol that was already on his forehead. Considering that this had just formed, was it still possible to save Ian? Was there still hope? Ian lifted his katana and sped towards Nicholas at incredible speeds, as he got within range of Nicholas, he changed the direction he was holding it and held it out to his left side as he made a backwards slash towards Nicholas's gut. The main thing Nicholas had to worry about was Ian's quick speed.

 Nicholas determined to continue living moved his left leg backwards which caused him to make a 80 degrees turn avoiding the stab.Nicholas Jones: "Why I came here I don't know and the darkness in my heart is none of your business. My reason to stay here is because I want to live." Nicholas then spun another 270 degrees and then he slashed at Ian's arm in an attempt to severe it so that he couldn't use it anymore. Ian Hunter: "You did something very bad didn't you...heheehe.....something unforgivable...that's why you are here, ISN'T IT!!? Just surrender, give up your life . . ."
As Nicholas spun around in attempt to cleave Ian's arm off, Ian ducked down to avoid being cut all together and spun around in a 360 while being ducked down with his right leg in attempt to dropkick Nicholas on the ground. In case this failed, Ian also used his right arm to thrust his katana forward towards Nicholas's stomach while spinning, giving him a slim chance of staying where he was at the moment and avoid both attacks. If Nicholas dodged the quick drop kick, he would be stabbed, if he took the dropkick, he would fall and possibly hurt himself, and leave himself wide open. There would be only one way of dodging both so close to Ian with his speed, and if Nicholas managed, he would be lucky, if he ran backwards away from Ian, he still had the potential to be stabbed, as Ian wasn't playing around.
Ian Hunter: "Hehehe... COME ON NOW!! We were just getting along just fine weren't we?!! Now tell me!! WHAT WAS IT!!!?"
Ian's voice became more hateful, he seemed to sound more and more filled with hate as each second passed, if Nicholas didn't hurry, not only would it be likely that Ian stayed like this, but that the other people who were trying to stop God's birth would get far too out of range for him to keep up. He had to be able to pick up the pace somehow.
