"A shield ? That sounds very handy to have." He continued, watching his own feet go back and forth, for a moment - then he finally looked back at her. "I make people invisible. Kinda. Well, invisible to senshi and pages." He nodded. "People on our side can still see that person, but their energy signature kinds of... scrambles ?" It was really hard to explain the umbra eclipse - even harder to show it. He frowned.
He still hadn't realized the sheer potential his power had, and how much could be done with it.

".....Like eggs? Why would you want to scramble like eggs?" She had heard the term once while eating breakfast, so him using it in this context was confusing her.
"...Though being able to make yourself invisible sounds neat! Can civilians see you too? Or just us? If they tossed like... something at you, that would stick to you, would they see that then?" She had seen that in a cartoon on tv recently... tossing flour on the invisible mouse named Jerry, so Tom the cat could see him.

...He couldn't help it. He let out a small laugh at that. "No, no, not like eggs, through you have a fine taste in breakfasts. Like a radio signal, or..." He was stuck pondering how to explain it, but then seemed to decide that a picture was worth a thousand words.
"Umbra Eclipse." He called upon his power, and nothing happened at first. And then...
This his aura changed. Widened a bit, dimmed in other parts. He was sitting right beside her, but if she had been basing only on auras, she would not have been able to tell.
"It doesn't affect civilians. I tried." Energy gathering would have been so easy if it had... Alas. "And I don't know ! I don't... usually stick around long enough to see their reactions..."

"...Woah." He was right, as she looked at him wide eyed. She could see him perfectly fine, but she could not help but try and feel out his Aura. Her eyes seemed to follow her mental probes, seeking out to try and pin him where he now sat but it was impossible. It just could not be pin pointed. "....You feel everywhere and yet... no where."
Reaching out a hand, she had to place it on his shoulder to make sure he was still there. Which, he was. Still though his Aura felt like it was....behind her? She couldnt help but turn her head to flick her gaze...nope nothing there.
"Now THAT is crazy cool." Lyra whispered. She approved of the power, it was damn neat.

Her sense of wonder was adorable, really - like he had said, he had never seen anyone's reaction to his magic - never stuck around to see it.
And he doubted a senshi would have this sense of wonder in their eyes if he could be anywhere ready to strike them at any moment, through...
The effect faded quickly - very quickly, and soon enough his aura was right where it should be - right in front of her. "It... doesn't really last long enough to be really useful, through..." Or so he thought.

Eyes snapped back to him as soon as the aura had returned, NOW he felt like he was right there. It was like he always had been there... well he had, but his amazing jumping aura had been confusing the poor girl.
"Long enough to confuse anyone i am certain? If you were fast enough..." Was he a fighter or a thinker? She was steadily noticing a difference between 'types'.
Maybe he should practice running? "Maybe as you gain power you can control it more?"

"Yeah, I usually have enough time to get ahead if I need to run from something, get enough head start that I either fall out of their range or can power down safely. And I can maybe manage... one good hit if im careful."
It was a trade-off. Safety, or easier attack. He had to chose wisely most of the time. If he chose the wrong option....
