Nearly hidden but not quite, the words soothing yet it was the action that truly spread over the shattered pieces of her heart and soul. Even in its most innocent, dormant state the power of a senshi royal's crystal held more power than she had ever felt from a single being. The desire to simply close her hands around it and breathe was too tempting and she did so, keeping his own warm palms between her and the stone. Castor was a cold planet and its prince dealt the fury of hail down upon the earth as power but this...this was warm.
Warm, living, loving. "I'm trying so hard Castor. I want to be like her." Eyes opened and looked up again at the portrait as Lina nestled into the arms of her prince. "You can see it in her face how strong and sure of herself she was. I can't even believe we're the same person but we share a soul and there has to be something of her in me somewhere. I know it." After all, she'd lived this long hadn't she? Tanzanite wasn't always standing in front of Linarite and Castor wasn't her only battle.
There was a strength in her that just needed to be found and nurtured. But Castor couldn't do it for her, Tanzanite couldn't do it, and no not even her beloved cousins could ever foster that strength that came so naturally to them. It was something that Audrey had to find. She had to find Daphne and hold on.
Releasing his hands the bluenette turned in Castor's arms and held on tightly. "Thank you." She didn't say why. She didn't really have to.

The wet cloth stuck to him like a second skin, and the plick of water on tile seemed loud. The rain outside had stopped. A summer storm had come and gone, but the gray clouds still lingered in the sky. "You are her Lina." He gave the small woman in his arms a light squeeze. "I see it everyday when I wake up and look into your eyes. I see it when you fight. You're stronger than you know Lina. I know you." There was a weight to those words. He knew the past, somewhere locked away but he knew. She was strong, she had always been strong. "You may not see it but I do. I see her and you and it's the same. Even so, you are you. My Knight, my consort. My princess." A gentle nuzzle into her hair and the crystal gave a hum of power to the word princess. In the past it had been a pet name, her unofficial title. She wasn't native born, and while she might someday be queen, in his eyes she was his princess, no matter what tradition had said.
And the Castorian Crystal felt the same. It was his heart, and it could react to his emotions in ways he didn't understand. It wanted to be held by her. And the action was natural to him. To just set it in her hands andt let it's warmth and power sooth her, while he picked Lina up and began to carry her to their room. They might suffer, but they could sooth each other and mend the other wounds. As much pain they might cause each other, they healed. And, the loved.
