Lorelz blinked when he tensed, noting to leave him be next time. When she moved away she twitched when she heard fast movement, blinking when Akito gave her a rub. She flashed a cheerful smile, tail wagging when her head turned to look at Edward with a "did-you-see-that" expression. Edward smirked at her, watching as the vixen bounded beside the two, following Akito who was showing the way to the warren.
Of course he knew, well, he did not. When he looked at the male and saw that expression. Akito was strong enough to help him protect the smaller vixen. So, he followed quietly, shaking his head when he caught Lorelz beaming like a dork.
"Thank you." He said to Akito, referring to the rabbit hunting.

Edward's comment reminded the anti-social fox of his manners. "Ah...actually, thank you. I probably would have ridden out the first bit of the storm before looking for shelter." He looked off to the side in a show of embarrassment
Rounding a tree, the black male dropped to his belly behind a couple of bushes. "The warren is just on the other side." He whispered. "I think the best way to do this is if one of us goes around this tree to the other side of the hole, hops on the entrance and scatters the rabbits. They'll run for the back entrance, but we should be able to get them, since they'll be running this way first." He looked up at Lorelz and Edward to see if they agreed with his plan.

Lorelz turned to smile at Edward, head tiling to for once silently question. Edward nodded, nudging her towards the back of the warren. She could be the one to chase the rabbits out, she'd enjoy it the most. Which, she did. Hopping to the side of the tree, tail wagging. She didn't wait for a signal, of course, hoping on the entrance, and squealing when bunnies ran out.
"Get ready, boys!"
The loud vixen startled Edward when she yelled, looking at Akito as the bunnies came right after them. He was waiting for Akito's movement. Yes, he was older than Akito, but he wanted the male to start the hunt, after all it was his idea.

Akito was pleased; he had hoped Lorelz would be the one doing the hopping. She was much chattier than Edward, and Akito had figured she'd say something, helping to scare the rabbits in the right direction. He allowed a quick smirk to grace his lips before singling out a rabbit and leaping at it. Catching it along it's spine, he crunched down and killed it quickly.
Of course, Lorelz needed a rabbit too, since she was making sure they wouldn't go down the rabbit hole. Dropping his rabbit, Akito lunged after a second one, knocking it off it's feet before snagging it and killing it too. Looking up, he turned to see if Edward had gotten himself one as well.

She grinned when she watched the boys hunt, tail wagging as they got along. She smiled when Akito caught a rabbit, then two, landing beside them and tilting her head. She couldn't catch a rabbit, unable to grab them before they ran off since she was back there. However she smiled when Edward lifted his head with a rabbit in his mouth.
Edward had caught a plump rabbit, dropping it and scanning Lorelz, who smiled at him. "Good job." He said to her, nodding when she beamed and twirled where she was. He turned to Akito, face going stern.
"Can we bring our kill to the cave, I'm worried."

Akito dropped his kill and looked towards Edward. "Of course. A soggy meal is hardly a meal at all." Akito paused and looked around. "As I'm not from around this area, I assume you know where a cave big enough to house the three of us is? If you lead the way, I'll follow."
He looked at Lorelz and gave her a small smile. "Good job. Your scaring technique was perfect." Akito stepped over the plumper of the two rabbits he'd caught , leaving it for Lorelz, and picked up the scrawnier of the two. Lifting his kill, he waited for either Lorelz or Edward to lead the way.

Lorelz blushed when he complimented her, nodding happily. When he took the scrawny one she looked over at him. "Are you sure?" She asked, lifting the other one and waiting for Edward to take point. Akito had complimented her! Her tail wiggled in a hurry, happy he had noticed her effort. When Edward began to move, she let the boys walk ahead, happy to carry her hare and dream.
Edward chuckled, nodding. "I know a spot." He mentioned, happy to be leading them finally to safety. He was proud of Lorelz that she had pleased Akito, and proud the once awkward male was getting alone with her.
When they reached a cave they were just in time, drops of rain were falling. He stood to the side, wanting them to enter first.

Akito nodded gravely, he was definitely sure that Lorelz should get the bigger one. She had done well chasing the rabbits towards them, and he wasn't about to be a jerk about taking the bigger kill. She deserved that rabbit. The fact that she seemed happier with the compliment wasn't lost on Akito and the male smiled at her around his own kill before padding off to follow Edward.

She wriggled into the cave, padding over a city of rocks before curling into the grove a large one, waiting for Akito to enter the cave while Edward seemed to be watching the sky.
"Are you gonna come in?" She asked Edward, who flicked his tail.
"In a bit." He mused, looking over at Akito. "Stay with Lorelz? I will be back." He tossed his kill towards Lorelz before heading off into the woods once more.

Akito blinked at the abrupt way the other male just left. Now he was here all alone with a female he didn't know very well, armed with abhorent manners and very little social skills. If he didn't accidentally run her off, she'd do it to him. Shaking his head, Akito wriggled into the cave and eyed Lorelz.
Dropping the rabbit, Akito tried to n** a lot of the mistakes he was going to make in the bud. "I'm sorry. I'm not good at being social, so if I say or do something stupid, I'm sorry."

A small giggle left her throat when he mentioned his latest comment, shaking her head. "I know that already. But, I wouldn't call it saying stupid things, it's just being a little awkward if anything. I don't mind, I can do all the talking and you grumble back~ It's good practice." She smiled at Akito reassuringly before folding her paws, nibbling at her kill.
"Thank you for grabbing me dinner~" She mewled, glancing at his markings with a curious eyes. "I never asked, did I? What's it like having a tribe? Is it fun? Oh! Oh oh, you can answer in short answers if it makes you feel comfortable."
Her cheeks blushed slightly, chewing in silence finally. Oh, she was alone with Akito and already making a damn fool of herself. Why did Edward have to run off, why?!

Before Akito could even think, his mouth ran away with him, "I can talk," he growled indignatly, "I'm just rude when I do." Akito closed his eyes and shook his head. Oh, good going, first thing out of your mouth and you're rude. Not only that, but it's the first time you've had her just to yourself. She's gonna think you hate her, idiot. Akito opened his eyes and dragged his rabbit to him.
"Right, dinner. You earned it; none of us would be eating if you hadn't helped. It would be a pretty lousy thing to do, not getting you something to eat too. Honestly, we-I should say thank you. But, ah, you're welcome." He said, a lot softer than his previous outburst. Akito probably should have just said 'you're welcome', but maybe all that hid his original screw up?
He question about the tribe was a little more difficult. "Well...a tribe.... I guess it's like haveing a really large family. One that actually seems to get along, but doesn't require you to be in close contact all the time. I suppose it can be fun. Again, I'm not the most social of foxes, so I probably miss out on a lot of the fun." Akito risked a glance at Lorelz.

His growled response just made Lorelz flinch a little, however a smile stayed firmly on her lips. "See, like that~" She said, commented on when she told him he could grumble back at her if he ever felt like it. Now, that didn't mean it hadn't startled and slightly made Lorelz feel just a little sad, as if she was a nuisance, but she was the kind of fox to get right back up. Now, if he did that a lot that was a different story.
She merely nodded when he talked about the kill, preoccupied by eating. When he mentioned a tribe being like a family her ears drooped, nodding slightly.
"I'm jealous. Even if you aren't the "social" type, you have a family." She mused, smiling dorkly at him. "I bet it's loud, right?"

Glad she didn't seem to be reacting badly, Akito faced her directly and started eating as well. "Technically, I have two families. The tribe can be loud, when we all gather together in the caves." Smiles in surprise. "I suppose you could call that fun, it's nice. I like it there because the others don't bug me all the time, but they're there if I need them. Like I would be for them."
Akito frowned and looked out the entrance. He had been going to find his biological family and check in on everyone. He'd passed Aegle a couple of months ago and she'd told him she had a mate and kits. He heard Ripari had kits too, and he felt bad about not knowing his own grandchildren.

(( *suddenly has an idea*. Lorry some how knows Trocar. Decided. ))
She smiled when he smiled, tail wagging when she realized he was facing her. He was nearby and not trying to jerk away from her~ She hummed softly, nodding. "Two?" Her voice wavered softly, tail wiggling side to side.
"Oh!" She squeaked, suddenly remembering when she met a white male with similar markings. "Do you have a brother?" She asked, head tilting softly. "Or is your daddy white with markings similar to yours?" She asked lightly, still smirking.
