I wasn't trying to point you out to everyone or anything. D: Just trying to see where we stand for the Challenge. I'm sure you've played Terraria fully, am I right? Ever considered having a bit of uniqueness so the game doesn't get old fast? :3
Think about this. If we manage to do the "Teams" thing, it'd be 4v4. One team builds on one side of the map, and the other builds on the other side. ....then again, this has its own flaws. We need to be a group to explore the dungeon/jungle to distribute items equally. >.>

The two teams is a nice idea but it's really awkward, the team with the jungle would get the later-game advantage unless the other buried under somehow.

Team with the dungeon is gonna have problems compared to the team near the jungle. Gotta find a way to allow both teams to access each in a fair way. Same goes for floating islands.
Also, I was thinking Good vs Evil for the teams thing. Sound good? Or we could just try factions.

The more I think about these teams, the more flaws I start to see.
Would people prefer starting out normally where we just stay as one team and build one awesome village while fighting bosses and exploring caverns/jungles/dungeons....
Or start off as two teams and go our separate parts of the map, with the unfairness of one team having a dungeon and the other having a jungle, while meteors could hit any- You get my point.

Why don't we give free reign over that...? That seems to make the most sense to me. We all have our class, great. But what we want to do from there should be up to the players. If at first people decide to stick together then so be it, but if right away they want to branch off they should be able to.
Fairness... that shouldn't really be a factor. It's like building a primitive city in real life. You go where you will and go with what you find. Some cities are near water and some are near oil. Both have their advantages that make people in the opposite city want it.

How about one town with two districts? Along with people who can be part of the "neutral" faction. Pretty much, next to/on top of spawn is a large town area, after it gets built, split it into two districts, with two different bases, with the middle containing the NPCs.
Anyone can build their own home on the map, if they choose to be neutral/independant.

I have the game now. What do.
And too be honest, I'd rather have no limitations (this being the first time I'll have played the game). But, if it's what the majority wants it's not really that big of a deal.

All you cool people and your ability to buy stuff online. If I wanted terraria, I have two options: A, bug someone to let me use their paypal to make the payment, then pay them back, harder then it sounds, or B, bum it off someone.
Unless someone reaaaally wants a purple baker boy or something, there is no option C.
