Kyu nodded at Hibiki's remark, and pulled out his wallet. It was about the size of his hand length-wise, and shaped like a shark. The mouth of the shark was a fat white zipper, made to be reminscent of teeth. Small 'googly eyes' graced its plush face, and the outside had a glittering sheen to it. Sure, the wallet was a bit childish, but it held money, and was rather well themed, considering Kyu's heritage.
The coin purse jingled with coins upon its withdrawal from Kyu's pocket. "I'll take two SC capsules." Kyu thought for a moment, then shrugged, "Make it three, actually. As I see it, they shouldn't be of any harm to me, just being trinkets or whatever. If all else fails, I can just pass them on to someone I know as a gift." Kyu paused, "And if they do something for the exam- Then I have three of whatever benefit they give me. I'll also be buying this scroll, Reaper's Calling." Kyu pulled out a single two-hundred ryo piece from the plush shark, and handed it to the man behind the desk.
The man stared at the shiny piece in his hand, then held it up to the light, "Very well, that'll be one-hundred and fifteen ryo... so your change is... eighty-five ryo." The man tapped a button on his old-school register, and it popped open with a tinny ring. He rummaged through his cash register for the correct coinage, then produced a fifty piece, a twenty piece, a ten ryo piece, and a five piece.
He recounted them in his hands, and idly mentioned, "Would you be interested in a side offer? A shipment of C-Grade ninja tools came in just the other day. They're crafted for use by Chuunin," the man looked up and handed Kyu the cash with a smile, "Like you'll be after the exams, right boys?"
The fishy genin took the money and nodded, "That's the idea. So C-Grade, you say? Right now, I think I'm carrying D-Grade tools. Even the specialized weapons are pretty..." Kyu shook his hand limply, implying that they were of so-so design, "They could be a ton better, lets just say that. The Soldier Pills that I have are so diluted with filler that the active enzymes barely affect me. I have basic ninjutsu that give me more of a boost. And the kunai... and the Shuriken... They fly kinda crooked... I could really use a better set." Kyu pondered for a moment, and asked, "What's the offer, bro?"
The man scratched the back of his head anxiously, and said, "Well, the starting price is five thousand ryo." Kyu's jaw instantly dropped. However, it picked back up as the man continued, "However, SC Tech gave me a special offer to give to enterprising ninja. When you buy one- count 'em- one SC Capsule, you get the set FREE!"
One of Kyuzaku's thick eye-brows lowered, and the other raised in a questioning arc, "Free?" The man repeated the word on the other side of the desk, with gusto, "FREE~"
Kyu plucked his two other SC Capsules from the stand, and shook his head, "There must be a catch. There's always a catch with these kind of things... Like: it's covered in company logos, or the company is giving it away for free for now, but will ask for cash after thirty days."
The man shook his head, "No, no, no. No catch. They're completely free of ads. I don't even think there's an SC on the tools; but if there is, they're hidden well. And they didn't tell me to get your personal information or anything. I heard from the supplier that its a consumer relations thing... They're trying to get their name out there to ninja so more shinobi will buy their products."
"It still sounds fishy to me," Kyu said, "Maybe they're prototypes; not guaranteed to work well. They probably think that testing them during the exams is ideal, since its not a 'real' mission, so no-one will file anything if a product were to malfunction."
The shopkeep turned around, "Here, let me grab one, you can take a look for yourself." He disappeared behind a curtain for a moment, and returned with a small package of neatly laid-out shinobi gear, "Now check this stuff out. First you have your kunai, in a optimized carrier. Twelve knives, in a specialized carrying case, all under warranty. Then you have your shuriken holder, inside they're all lined up and ready to use. The case is designed to easily stock your throwing stars too, you know."
The man then motioned to a hip pack full of black marble-sized balls, "Premium Smoke Bombs, for your enemy-sight blocking needs. Next to those are a package of Soldier Pills. All you need to do to set up your pills is a drop of blood, and they customize their makeup to fit your needs. No pharmacist needed." The man pulled up a small Med Kit, "Then there's the med kit. It comes with gauze, salve, bandages, a variety of pills, scalpels, scissors, thread, needles, you name it. Everything you might need for an on-the-go surgery. Last-but-not-least are some good-old tracking tags, updated with some top-of-the line spell circles. Just collect some chakra samples, and they'll lead you where you need to go. Simple as that." The man closed the case, and smiled at Kyu, "All FREE~ ...Is that good enough for you now?"
"Yea, yea, yea. I'll take one. Just make sure it has everything you said would be in there. I don't want to be reaching for an empty shuriken case or something when I need it."

Hibiki glanced at the exchange between the shopkeep and Kyu briefly before leaving them for the pile of generators nearby. Due to his Lightning Chakra Nature, he was rather intrigued about them and wanted a closer look. The item could have been easily carried on one's back, although, to Hibiki, it looked clunky and wouldn't help with being stealthy at all. He glared at the set of Generators with silent rage. "Such a disappointment." The Inuzuka whispered to his Vulpine Ally. He continued examining the generators from a distance, reading the list of specifications and limits on the side of an overturned one, when he overheard Kyu and the merchant talking about a set of free ninja tools with a purchase of the SC items.
He scoffed, it was obviously a gimmick by the merchant. 'Buy this s**t, and get more s**t for free' was the sham he was trying to pull. The Mist Genin ignored it and continued pondering the use of a generator. He already has a a natural capacitance in his body, as a few people have already seen when his anger rises, but does he really need a generator alongside it? He thought about it as he went to pick one up, but suddenly there was a spark and a small zap, as if something was fried, when the generator came in contact with Hibiki's outstretched hand. He bit his lip, it didn't harm him at all, but did give him a bit of a scare.
The Wild-haired genin glanced over his shoulder and saw the Merchant still talking to Kyu with noticeable zest ("Free~!"). He didn't see anything that had happened, or took any notice whatsoever. Hibiki sighed in relief. Kuro shook his head at his partner's silly antics before sauntering towards the counter where Kyu stood. Hibiki grabbed another scroll and two trinkets before waltzing up towards the register, whistling innocently. "Ya, empty shuriken cases will kill a shinobi." He chipped in, acting as if he was part of the conversation. "I'll take these two scrolls, Chakra Shield and Hydro Pump, and two SC capsules, for the Fox and I." He pulled out the Ryo needed and hastily pushed it into the Employee's hand.
"Thank you! Sorry, but we have to take our leave now. Plenty of other business to take care of and stuff. I thought I saw some tasty fruits out in the bazaar as well and we do need to train and s**t..." Hibiki rushed through his departure and raced to the door with Kuro on his heels, "By the by, you may want to check out that pile of Generators over there." and like a wisp of smoke, they were gone.
There was a small jingle as he entered the crowded streets outside. He sighed in relief again. He didn't want to stir up that much trouble in Lightning yet, theres still plenty of time left for that. The Vulpine duo crossed the busy road over to a nearby fruit stand and awaited for their comrade to exit the shop. It seemed like he was taking his sweet time getting out of there as well...

Hatari looked down upon those in which traveled amongst one another to their desired destinations. there had been allot of word of Missin ninja transferring over to Kumogakure for not apparent reason. It had caught his suspicion from the get go, to be honest, letting Roaming ninja come into the village was something of a insult and a hazard to the village it's self. Finally standing back up the man who went by Hatari stood and looked around at those beneath him once more before placing a single hand sign before his chest, suddenly a puff of smoke appeared behind the already black smoke, a couple of figures stood behind the smoke as to not release it's identity. "You know what to do...." Then the leaders mouth came into view as a grin was placed upon his face. "I would assume so we are after all you; except for this minor change of events; although, no matter it'll all be known to all soon enough." Hatari viewed his personas and threw out his arm as the signal to move out. "Time to move we'll all spread out and find our acquired targets, once you're in place keep stealth-ed until the time is right." Eight figures moved amongst the shadows of the village as the Leader known only at Hatari stood in his direct place of origin as he began to plan out his attack on the Exams. They wouldn't even know what hit them... to be honest, They wouldn't expect someone of my stature to do something of this measurement; however, I won't allow such a disgrace to unfold. I'll wait for the right time and then I shall strike...
For the most part the eight figures stood still watching and lingering around those in which were targets or possible allies in this destructive plot to end all allied forces. Hatari slid down the back of the restaurant in which he was standing upon and dropped to the ground, taking a different demeanor in his stance he looked more like a lazy no brained shinobi rather than some intense psychopathic killer. "Gah.... what a crazy a** place to be at the moment.... I knew the Exams would be packed but not so overly packed that I couldn't move around..." Hatari sighed just before looking around as he took a step forward he began to trip on something that was shorter than him and then suddenly seen that it was a young street boy, the boy had tried to rob him of his belongings and quickly trip him as an attempt to escape. "What the hell do you think you're doing you little brat b*****d! give me that back and I'm going to kick your a** since you felt the need to trip me!" The boy tried to run as planned but Hatari quickly grabbed the back of his ragged shirt and pulled him to the ground. "please mister I didn't want to I swear, I'm just so hungry and well... anything I can get my hands on gets me a well spruced up meal that will last me for a good long while.... Spare me some coin if you would?" Hatari looked at the child and backhanded him before grabbing his cheeks with his right hand. You'll get food when I want you to, since you have tried to steal from me, you are now my follower! this means you do as I say and nothing more or less you hear me you damn brat!" the boy flinched in pain for a moment then looked down and began to speak. "Ye.....Yes....Sir! I promise to do anything you ask so long as I'm fed..." Hatari looked at the boy and shoved him away as he took his belongings back and took the boy by his shirt collar and off they went into the crowded streets of Kumogakure.

Sorain walked casually into the small village area with both hands in his pockets, trying to be as unnoticeable as possible. Sorain was not one for vanity or attention unless under forcing circumstances, instead he preferred to simply stand in the shadows and watch as the common fools ran willy nilly in the streets exposing themselves to the dangers that lurked in the word. Gliding in and out of the crowded streets Sorain made sure to keep his face down, covered by a wool hood that cast a darkened shadow over his facial features. As he reached the heart of the small village Sorain quickly found what he was looking for, an ideal place to post up and watch the pre exam events fold out. From here he would do what ever he could to pick out possible contestants and get a good feel for them before everything started. Not that he was worried about anyone here being much of a match for him, he needed to know exactly how much of his abilities he could risk exposing and how much he could afford to keep hidden. Quickly scanning his area, checking for anyone that might be keeping a loose eye on him, Sorain turned his head down and directly below his feet a sheet of ice formulated on the ground, in an instant Sorain sunk through it, only to reemerge on the side of a near by roof top resulting in the illusion that Sorain was simply standing in front of a window inside the building itself. The sheer number of people attending the event amazed Notwen. The area was so crowded that it was hard to move, especially with all of the stuff he had brought with him. Looking around he saw that the rooftops were the only way to get around without having to push through the crowd of people. The dark-skinned blonde maneuvered off the cobbled street into a less crowded side street. He quickly checked to see if he had everything on his person, then proceeded to walk up the wall to the rooftops. The architecture in Gryu'jiong was similar to that of some of the buildings in Earth Country. There was an eastern feel to the rooftops and the way the restaurants and other buildings were constructed. Notwen admired the village from his new vantage point for a little longer before making his move. Within a minute he had conjured his clones and established the web of intrigue among them and himself. " Alright guys, i want you to pair up and see what you find. There are plenty of things to do around here. If anything comes up, relay your location to the others and myself and we will come as quickly as possible." The clones nodded and transformed into young teens with different get-ups before heading off in four different directions. The original activated his awareness dome up to a diameter of ten feet in all directions and began to walk along the rooftop until he spotted an interesting scene on the street below. It seemed that a poor kid tried to rob a guy in samurai-esque clothing, who in turn didn't seem pleased and was skilled enough to catch the culprit before he got much further. From the snippets that he could hear, Notwen understood that the samurai-looking guy was manipulating the kid. He ducked down to avoid being seen, then clambered over to the other side of the roof where he changed into his casual clothes which included a pair of long pants and a modified tank top that covered his wounded shoulder. Replacing the other objects except for Novvus and the key pendant into his bag, the dark-skinned blonde slid over to the other side and was lucky to see the direction in which the samurai and the child disappeared. Notwen expanded his awareness dome until they were within its reaches, then narrowed it until they were the only two people he was connected to. Let's see what this guy is up to... thought the crippled Uchiha before he descended to the street and began tailing the samurai. Quote: Stealth PC:240*2 + 30(Flash Step) = 510

Once inside the house Shizuka smiled a little and showed them around the house, showing them where they would be able to sleep while staying in the house. "So this is the house I'll leave it up to you guys to pick how you sleep, but I am in one of the rooms upstairs, if you guy want to do a little training there is a space out the back, also Aya and Hayato your in the exam right, did you guy get you participation sets from the front gate, if not we can go pick them up later, I need to get some food for dinner, unless Kai is willing to take us out for dinner". Shizuka said looking at Kai, and almost seeming to say, 'you better get me something for all this', she then looked at Hayato and Mayu, as she took a seat, she had ended her tour in the living room so they could relax a little. Kai looked at Shizuka, and then took out his wallet and looked though it to see how much he, then signed a little. "So what do you two want to do, we can do some training, or go do some shopping before hand pick up those participation things, and it is up to you two if we eat out tonight, or cook something?". Kai said derecting his words to Mayu and Hayato, he was lending on the couch in the living room as he looked at them. Mayu followed Shizuka around the house as they wondered around the rooms of the house, Mayu was interested in learning more around Shizuka, she was the first ninja, Mayu had been able to really get close to, who was from a place aside from the Leaf village. As the talks moved a long to another topic, on what they were going to do first, Mayu didn't really care, she kind of wanted to treat this trip more as a vacation then a mission, Aya was taking it more serious then she was, but maybe not to the same level as Hayato, who was giving the feeling he was treating this as a mission, and Kai who had said before leaving that he was here on a mission. So to her shopping seemed more interesting, also hearing that those involved in the exam were meant to get some sort of participation set, Mayu really wanted to go get it right then. "Well for me shopping seems more fun then training, but I do a lot of training at home, and training would be better in the long term, so I would rather change and clean up a little then go shopping, rather then do some training". Mayu said as they got to the lounge Mayu found a open seat on the couch near the end a little bit away from Kai, leaving room for him if he wanted to sit, or if Hayato wanted to take it, but there were other seat in the room available, once sitting Mayu thought a little about the other point that had come up on dinner. "I would like to eat out, I don't mind cooking, but if we go out for dinner tonight, we will be able to talk with one another a little more, rather then having some people cooking while the others wait". Mayu said blushing a little as she spoke up this time, for some reason, in truth, Mayu was beginning to feel shy, she wasn't sure why, it wasn't like her to feel shy, so why now. Aya who was sitting within Mayu blushed as she listen to Mayu speak up for herself, and get her our point across, which was something that Aya wouldn't be able to do by herself, she would normally put on a smiled and asked others what they wanted to do. Hatari seemed to be annoyed at the child's presences as he carried him through the crowd, for the most part Hatari would watch the exams go under way and partake into anything that didn't involve fighting. His plans were much more important than any exam competition indeed; however, if he were to be confronted he'd surely kill the person who was asking odd questions. "Boy, fetch me some food and water... and don't spill anything" the boy without hesitation did as he was told and ran for the stands then came back and looked puzzled. But, sir I don't have any coin....how am I suppose to get food with no coin. Hatari gripped the kids shirt and quickly but lightly patted the boys face. "Surely you know how to steal things, after all you are from the streets. I am a Ninja...you wouldn't have gotten away with stealing my coin; however, a common vendor in a crowd like this... you could steal anything you wanted and could get away with it purely due to your size, speed, and intelligence. Now stop bitching and get my damn food before I really get pissed." The boy bowed just before darting off towards the poor vendor who was being overly worked for a small sample of his food capabilities. To be upfront Hatari wasn't hungry he just wanted to see what the boy was capable of stealing and how well he did it... He could indeed be useful one of these days. Hatari sighed once more and looked around to make sure he wasn't being followed he even took the measurements of injecting himself with Nanites to increase his senses; although, he didn't find anyone suspicious at the moment he would continue to backtrack his steps and follow closely up on anyone who got near him with unknown intentions. As for the moment, he would just play off the clumsy yet overly Accusing Samurai. It would certainly drawl a crowd of interest if he was to do it the right way. As the boy finally came back with a bowl of Ramen and a glass of Saki Hatari was indeed impressed to the fullest. "You've done well for me boy, just look at what a little confidence does to you, you've picked up a fifty coin bowl of Ramen with a fine one hundred coin Saki, you'll do just fine by my side." The boy looked towards Hatari and smiled in confidence and eagerness. "I'll go get more then master! I will bring you everything I can bring you!" Hatari looked over to the boy and quickly kicked the boy in the gut of his stomach, as the boy fell Hatari gripped both the bowl and cup from mid air and caught them before they fell. "Don't you dare do anything other than what I ask of you, you'd be a damn fool to bring so much attention to yourself let alone me...Do as I say not what you think I want." and with that note Hatari glared down only to hand the bowl of Ramen to the boy and smiled lightly. Eat up kid, you'll need to become strong for me... there isn't much else in this world of ours except becoming a fine craftsmen in The Ninja way or even the Samurai way... you decide what you want And I'll provide it for you; however, know this, the moment you ******** up you'll be punished to the extreme...I don't like slackers who hold me back, got it?" The boy began to eat the Ramen and then wiped his face off with his arm and looked up to the Samurai. "Yes, I understand master!" and with that Hatari walked away from the boy and looked around once more, It was almost time for the first part of the Exams to begin.

Notwen kept a decent distance between himself and the samurai, close enough to keep a visual but far enough to avoid instant detection. When they stopped, the dark-skinned blonde made his way to a small establishment on the side of the street from which he still had a vantage point. "Is there anything i can get you, young man?" asked the man behind the counter. Notwen turned to face him and his eyes widened. "Yuuichi?! What are you doing here?" The middle-aged man laughed. Yuuichi was the owner of the prominent bubble tea shop in the village Notwen had settled in. "Just sharing my bubble tea with travelers. I'm sure that if they come to like it they will travel far and wide just to buy a cup or two." He walked over to the cooler in the back with a see-through cup and filled it one fourth of the way with ice. "I'm guessing you are here to participate in the Chuunin Exams." The dark-skinned blonde nodded. "Yeah. I got here just an hour or so ago. Gryu'jiong seems to be a pretty neat place." Yuuichi was now filling the cup with his secret strawberry tea and milk. "I agree. It's a bit overcrowded but the aesthetics are pretty appealing to the eye." He finally added a scoop of tapioca balls to the drinks which sank to the bottom, then topped the cup with a lid and handed Notwen a blue straw large enough to allow the tapioca to pass through with ease. "This one's on the house." The crippled Uchiha shook his head and dug into his pocket for seventy-five ryo. "Thanks Yuuichi, but if i let people out here see you being so generous they will start asking for freebies once they get to know you better." He put the money on the counter. "Keep the change."Yuuichi nodded. "Thank you. I'll treat you once after each test." He took the money and put it in the safe deposit box underneath the counter. Another customer came in and asked for whatever the dark-skinned blonde was drinking which distracted Yuuichi long enough for Notwen to put his attention back to what the samurai was doing with the child. He caught sight of the man kicking the poor boy in the stomach and taking a bowl of something and a cup from him. What the hell is this guy's issue? thought the crippled Uchiha as he began drinking his bubble tea and munching on the jelly-like tapioca pellets that had come up through the straw. The samurai gave the bowl to the boy after a short exchange of words and walked away from the boy while he ate. Notwen took this opportunity to try and get the boy away from the samurai. Stretching his consciousness in an arch above the traveling public and allowing it to wash over the boy, the dark-skinned blonde forced his will upon the child and took control of his senses and actions. The poor kid was near starving, and the samurai's actions had weakened him to the point that there was hardly any resistance in taking control. Notwen allowed the boy to finish eating the bowl of ramen, then had him get up and pick the bowl up. He made the boy run away against the flow of tourists and villagers, but with the aid of his awareness dome he was able to maneuver the kid around the oncoming people in a way that allowed him to move faster. If the samurai would chase him he'd wait until the man was close enough to toss the empty bowl at him without missing.
Pair of clones in the market area: The clones that had gone to the market were disguised as two perfectly fit and healthy kids with two arms and legs. They perused through the selection of items weapons on the stands and were surprised to see a replica of the gourd used by Gaara of the Sand, the Kazekage during the time of the Fourth Great Ninja War. Based on the drawings found in the history text books of Sunagakure, the clones could pinpoint some errors in the markings that were painted on the replicas.
While one clone went over to check out the scrolls, the other remained in the weapons section. It slid its hand over the bows-and-arrow sets, a sad expression forming on its face as it remembered the custom-made recurve bow that was lost on the road between Rain and Fire countries. It moved on to the bō staffs and tested a few out, twirling them slowly to avoid accidentally having one fly off into the crowd.

Clones 1 & 2 A good thirty minutes had passed since the eight of them were formed, Clones one and two had disguised themselves as young teen along side an older male figure, possibly a father and son type duo. They kept an eye out but still did the usual sight seeing just like everyone else did. clone one would look at all the different types of colorful themes as clone two would look at the more adult like tools, pictures, and heavier mechanics that lay within the vendors. "hmmm this is lame, when are the exams going to start already..." clone two smacked clone one upside the head and quickly spoke in a deeper toned voice. "Stop your bickering... they'll start when they start.... I don't like being dressed like this in any way, shape, or form... We'll come of use soon enough so don't worry about it, if you haven't noticed that street kid for some reason darted away from us... as if...No... Hatari would have caught it...but just in case keep an eye out." clone one looked at clone two and nodded. "yeah I noticed it too, and will do...got to have eyes in this place other wise we might get screwed over."
Clones 3 & 4 while the others looked around clones three and four sat at a Ramen shop, the exact shop in which the young street boy had stolen the food from. They were dressed in fancy clothing the type in which you find rich snobby people dressed in. Clone three was a ugly looking rich woman as clone four was a slightly attractive young male who had got his way with the woman and used her for her money, A sigh came from clone three as she seemed heavily depressed of the lack of attention clone four was giving her. it was all an act of display though, clone four looked through the shades in which covered his eyes and kept an eye on the street kid as he had wondered off for no reason. "I don't like this one bit, that kid took some food and then brought it to his master and now for some reason has run off." "Well you know dear, how snobby little brats can be you are one yourself you know... clone four looked over and hissed at clone three. "Shut up... no one wanted to marry you so I did, Just because your ugly doesn't mean you're not useful to me." clone three looked at clone four just before slapping him across the face. "You pathetic little b*****d you! grrr..." clone four chuckled lightly as it didn't phase him one bit. "just keep your eyes open granny."
Clones 5 & 6 It wasn't any surprised that clones five and six were vendors that stood in front of one another, one has a vegetable stand while the other a fruit stand. both took on the form of old men, five was bald and six had grey hair. "Bah you scumbag of an old man, trying to steal people away from my fresh vegetables!" "Curse you to hell! you're trying to keep people away from my fruit stand! here have an orange you baldy! Six threw an orange as Five ducked and was quickly to throw a squash right back at six. "Gah you're ruining my stand! go somewhere else you wrinkly old buffoon! Five and six played their rolls like pro's or at least they were having fun at the roles they took on.
Clones 7 & 8 The final two Seven and eight were dressed as lightning Genin, they seemed to be pals with one another. They seemed quiet and well put together, both looked and acted as if they were serious business. They were at a second weapons shop looking at swords and other misc. bladed items. they didn't need to speak for they understood their body gestures. Seven and eight knew their objective was to keep a close eye on anyone who would seem suspicious and out of ordinary. they would be the first to impose on those who stood in Hatari's way.
Hatari Coming back to the place in which he had left the boy Hatari was soon to notice the boy had left the place in which he was last seen. "Damn it... I'm not even gone two seconds and the boy disappears he's going to pay like hell now.. I told him not to ******** around with me... Hatari looked around the cloud as clones one and two were soon to look in one direction, as he started walking in that direction he noticed two and three speak out the word "Left alley" as he passed the open vendors he trailed down the alley as he spotted the boy for a split second before he vanished around the corner. "Where the ******** is this kid going... why is he moving away from the crowd...did someone else get to him?"

Eyes in the sky: Clones disguised as Nightingales:The nightingale clones circled overhead, watching the child's progress through the alleys and relaying the information back at the original and to the two other clones that were ready to intercept the manipulated child. The bird clones circled a bit lower before splitting up to cover a larger area, one staying fairly close to the boy while the other heading over to the interception clones. Intercept Clone Team:Just as the original manipulated the boy into the area where the interception clones were waiting, one of the clones knocked out the boy by pressing a pressure point in his neck and quickly hid in a dumpster while the other clone transformed into the boy and made a good show of acting like he was out of breath while sprawled on the floor with the ramen bowl at his side. " I can't go on anymore..." he said in the child's voice and waited for the samurai to show up. Clones near the Central Plaza:These clones were shaped as a teenaged girl with her younger brother watching the people inside the fenced-off area showing off their moves and drinking in every detail from hand seals to execution, especially any fire- and water-based techniques. Then whispers started floating around. " Oi! Have ya heard? According to the bystanders one of the Seven Swords of the Mist, the Kubikiribōchō is in the hands of Water Country!" This news caused the boy clone to look at the group of people chatting about it. " What?! Then this means that the Mist is regaining its power. To think that so soon after word of the seven blades got out that one of them is back in Water's possession." the man speaking shook his head. " I wonder if they have any of the others." A small balding man scoffed. " Word's out that at least five of the seven have already been found. The only sword that has been confirmed is the Executioner's blade. I hope to God we don't have another Zabuza on our hands." There were several grunts of approval from the men and the group began to move away in the direction of a sake bar to continue their conversation. Both clones looked at each other with the same uneasy look, but resumed watching the people show off their techniques. Clones at the market area:The clones that were looking at the items and wares came to a consensus on what the original would like to buy and relayed the information via the Web of Intrigue. They were currently standing over a stand with the SC Capsules. The vendor had mentioned an interesting deal. Buy one SC Capsule and get a set of C-Grade ninja tools for free. It was an opportunity that couldn't be passed up. Once the coordinates were sent, the clones found a secluded area to transform into rats and began to head to the ambush site. Back to the Original:Notwen bid Yuuichi farewell and began to head for the market area. The stream of people entering the village had slowed down considerably, allowing the dark-skinned blonde to move around easier and without the fair of being pick-pocketed. He headed towards the stands and picked up three scrolls and three SC Capsules. " I see you have three of the SC Capsules and the Hydro Pump, Inferno Ring, and Puppeteer Basics scrolls." said the shopkeeper as he bagged up the supplies. " Together that will come up to be one hundred thirty-five ryo." He went behind a curtain and returned with a bundle of C-Grade ninja equipment. " These are also yours free of charge. A holster full of shuriken and kunai, a medium-sized kit filled with medical equipment and soldier pills, and a pouch with tracking tags and smoke bombs." Notwen pulled the money out of his pocket and paid the man, stashing his new trinkets inside of his messenger bag. " Thank you kindly, sir." said the dark-skinned blonde before heading over to an area close to where the clones were to make their ambush on the samurai. He sat on a tree branch and enjoyed his bubble tea, waiting for events to unfold. If anything went awry with the plan he could always step in personally. Takera arrived on the edge of Gryu'jiong. He noticed the increasing number of people who were circulating through the entrance of the village. After taking a few steps forward his vision suddenly blurred and an immense pain shot through his eyes. " W-What was that?" He questioned trying to figure out what just happened. Was it another shinobi's doing? Would they have been foolish enough to attempt something at such a place and risk a big confict? That seemed unlikely given the circumstances. Once more the pain came, but it was less than what it was the first time. Takera shaked his head lightly trying to figure out what was wrong with him, when suddenly he felt something that began to send chills down his back. His sharingan began to recede without him willing it to. He still had plenty of chakra, which puzzled Takera deeply. He tried to will the sharingan back, but he was unable to call it forth. He moved over to the tree near the road and sat beneath it for a while trying to recollect himself and figure things out. He closed his eyes and began to think for a while. His mind drifted back to a time in his training when his master in Wind had begun teaching him. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Flashback Beginning ------------------------------------------------------------------ " Boy? Have you been feeling weird at all lately?" The old man looked at Takera who was now tired and breathing hard from the training that had commenced over the last few hours. Takera looked up as he continued breathing hard and he didn't answer for a minute as he began to catch his breath. " I'm fine. Why?" he spoke as he made one final deep breathe an exale of air from his lungs. He coughed lightly and rubbed his mouth with his arm. The old man stared at Takera very intently. It was almost as if cold air was coming from Takera's mouth, but it was more than just hot out where they were. Temperatures wouldn't get low enough to see your own breath until around an hour or so after it got dark, yet Takera's breath was now visible and cool rather than warm. As if he were subconciously cooling the air from his lungs that he expells through his mouth with an ability the old man hadn't seen Takera ever use before. The old man turned to face the sandy dunes out in the distance and pondered the idea. Was it possible Takera took on some of the old man's bloodline abilities because of the large amount of blood transfused to save his life? Or was it just side-effects of the transfusion and would dispell soon enough? The old man turned back to Takera with a puzzled look. " I'm worried that you may not be physically stable, boy. You do know how it was I was able to save you, correct? He questioned Takera seriously. Takera looked back up at the old man. " Not exactly. You never really told me anything about that, but I never really asked either. I didn't see a reason to ask. I'm just glad I'm alive. I'd never reach my ambitions and save Zeru if I'd died out there." He thought back to the horrifying pain that devestated him prior. Takera reached up and rubbed his hand lightly across a portion of the large scar that stretched at an angle across his chest. The old man nodded in agreement. " You've grown wise, but heed my words, boy. I saved you by having a good deal of my blood transfused into your body. The operation was needed immediately and there was no time to confirm if our blood matched. I'm worried that your body may not take kindly to my blood and if it rejects the blood, you may very well die." He spoke sternly to Takera. Takera's eyes widened some and his sharingan that previously receeded from exhaustion returned. As such his breath suddenly turned back from frosty to normal. " Don't take me so lightly old man. I'm not that weak!" Takera rose his voice in frustration. The old man became intrigued. By sheer will while on the point of collapsing from exhaustion, he managed to re-ignite his sharingan and force the odd occurance with his breath to be supressed. " No, you're not weak, but you are still human and as such you're capable of dying as easily as any other. Remember that well, boy." The turned once more to face away from Takera. Takera released his Sharingan and sighed a heavy breath before sitting down to rest. He hadn't been sure what dangers the old man spoke of, but he knew one thing was certain. He felt fine, so the blood couldn't have been rejected or he'd be long gone. Takera just shrugged it off as he tried to relax. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Flashback End ------------------------------------------------------------------ Takera opened his eyes and rose to his feet trying to re-collect himself, but no matter how hard he tried, he wasn't able to use his sharingan. He decided to see if he maybe there was something just plainly wrong with his chakra and began making an elemental form of chakra in his hand. Expecting to see a spiral of wind come forth from his hand, his eyes widened greatly as rigid spikes formed one after another from a small ball of ice that had formed just above his palm. Takera immediately stopped focusing his chakra and the ball dispersed. " What the hell is going on!? That's not my wind! That's something else entirely!" Takera placed a hand back on the tree behind him to sturdy himself as he became stressed over what was happening. Had he really lost his sharingan? And what were these new abilities that seemed to take it's place? Takera had lost his cool and began to stumble out towards the path once more when he turned to see a carriage pull forth and stop only a few feet from him. Surprised to see him, he watched as Drake climbed out of the carriage and thanked the driver. Takera realized he was in bad condition and what his master told him might be true. He thought back to the time he sealed the scroll. He was in no condition to guard the scroll or himself for that matter. He walked up to Drake shakily and reached back into his round pouch, he quickly pulled his hand forth with the scroll while Drake's back was to him and found himself astonished to see the speed of his arm jetting across towards Drake's bag. He slipped it into a slight opening in the side of his bag and then tugged with the opposite hand on the shoulder that the strap was resting on at such timing that Drake wouldn't feel or see the scroll being inserted into his bag. " Hey there. Fancy meeting you here, Drake." Takera greeted Drake as he seemed to gradually feel better than he was moments ago. His face had grown a bit pale, but color returned soon and he was wearing his mask, so nobody could see his face regardless. Takera didn't say anything more to Drake before he turned and walked towards the village. He stepped inside the village pushing his way through the people to find a secluded area on the rim of the village where he could sit and sort out his problems. He seemed fine now, but what happens if he's hindered so strongly once more? Takera spent a good hour of time making handseals and studying the ice chakra he could now form. The ice was astounding. He could do amazing things with it for so much less than he had to put out in chakra or fatigue to use his older wind jutsu. He re-developed and engineered a handful of jutsu as well as accidently reverse summoning himself to the Misty Peak that was home of the Dragons. Takera landed atop Kairo's head. A big black dragon who's eyes were white and wings lined with red around it's edges. " Oof!" Takera landed with a thud. Kairo immediately reflexed and whipped his head back sending Takera tumbling down Kairo's neck and onto his back. Kairo turned to face the young boy staring back at him. " A human? Here on the Misty Peak?" Kairo began to laugh somewhat at the concept that seemed so foolish to him and quickly his anger faded away. Takera rubbed his head lightly as he stood up. He opened his eyes slowly and saw Kairo staring back at him. His eyes widened and he leapt sliding back further down the dragon's back, but quickly realized he was atop the dragon and before he could react, the dragon's tail came down on him and smacked him in the back, dropping him instantly. Takera coughed raggedly as he tried to get back to his feet. He breathed harder and harder until suddenly the icy chill began applying itself to his breath. Kairo watched as the boy struggled to rise even in such a dim situation. " What business do you have here, human? This is the Misty Peak in which all dragon's reside. You should not be here." Kairo questioned the human, intrigued by him. Takera sat up slowly. " I was trying to create a new jutsu when I suddenly got pulled through from where I was to this place. I don't know where I am or how to get back even." Takera said calmly. Kairo looked the boy over and even sniffed at him ever so obviously. " You smell of blood similar to my own and another blood that reminds me of a human I used to know rather well." Kairo spoke as he reminisced of a past time. " If you were not fated to be here, you would not be here at all. I will give you two things. The first is a scroll, in which you must sign and mark with your blood. The other is a way back to where you came from. Once you go back, you will no longer come here whenever you cast the jutsu that you did. Instead you will summon forth a dragon from here among the Misty Peak. I warn you now though. Do not play games with the dragons. If you call us forth without a proper reason you'll be punished severely." Takera wasn't sure he knew exactly what was going on, but he wasn't stupid. He understood the jist of what the dragon was implying. He simply nodded and walked towards the dragon's neck. After recieving the scroll he signed his name and placed a pair of bloody palm prints upon the scroll. Takera rolled the scroll up and gave it back to Kairo. Kairo nodded and placed a claw on Takera's head very lightly. " Do not forget my name, human. It is Kairo. " Then suddenly Takera poofed away and landed once more where he sat in the icey enclosed area on the rim of the village. " Takera moved into town to take care of a few things while mulling over what had happened to him inside the realm he'd been transported to. He had stayed quiet and rather secluded, taking less obvious paths through the village and by-passing crowds inconspicuously until he came across a shop closer to the main route through the village. He watched and his eyes widened as he saw Hibiki walking forth from the shop and away with something in his possession. " Was that...?" Takera cut off as he began to walk towards the shop. He walked inside only to see Kyu only a few feet away from himself. Takera's eyes widened again. There's no telling what either of them thought of him or what they'd do if they found out he was in Lightning after being gone so long from Mist. He moved past Kyu without taking his eyes off him until he passed him by. He quickly looked over the merchant's merchandise. Going through scrolls and countless items hastily hoping to be out of the shop as quick as possible. He noticed the half-villed vials in a special commemorative case and decided to buy the Reaper's Calling scroll and 3 vials. He had been too worried about staying there longer than a few minutes and was not able to look over everything. He hastily pulled forth the ryo and paid the merchant for the bag of supplies. He began to turn to face the door when the merchant grabbed his shoulder. " Hold on, sir. As a special deal of buying those SC Tech Inc items, I'm obligated to give you a free set of class C ninja tools." Takera grabbed the case from the merchant and thanked him. He had originally discarded his old set of weaponry when they wore and had no use to him, but he figured it couldn't hurt and accepted the quality weapons. He picked up the weapon case and moved quickly out the door. [Note: Takera has been wearing a mask that no one in lightning knows of other than Sorain since his final post in the previous thread, so no, you cannot see his face. Takera's also new to lightning, so even unmasked he'd be unrecognizable save for a very few people.]Quote: Stealth PC:Normal Disguise300*2 + 0 = 600 Ignore the random roll. After several hours, Drake had finally made it to the village that would hold the chuunin exam. Even from where Drake was sitting, he could already see that a large number of people were here, as there was a crowd of people standing outside the main gate. The man driving the carrige turned to Drake. "It's probably for the best that you get off here. It'll be awhile before anyone can get into the village anyway". Thanking the man, Drake dropped down from his seat. Waiting for the man to pass, Drake then proceeded toward the crowd. Right before Drake reached the crowd, he felt a hand near him, then head Takera say "Hey there. Fancy meeting you here". Before Drake could reply, Takera turned around and walked off. Drake was confused, cause he thought they were meeting up here. 'Oh well, might as well see what's going on around here' Drake thought to himself.
Drake wondered between people, getting a feel of his surroundings. Alot of people were from different places and villages. Many of them were merchants, coming to sell whatever they had, food, tools, sealing scrolls, etc. Drake also saw some ninja, Genin he assumed, coming to participate in the exams. As Drake walked around some more, he heard a voice boom out, saying that everyone participating in the exams were to head to the gate. As people started to move, so did Drake. As they arrived, they were told to all go to the office building for further instructions.
(Moving to Chuunin Exams, Section 1 thread) (Will post lines later) (Post is a little ahead of the one on pg3, sorry, need to get this done)

"It's disappointing that the boat had to turn around due to the poor conditions at sea, we had to stop our hunt for the time being. I will say that it is nice to be ourselves again however..." Hatsuma commented as they walked along the streets of the town that was to house the chuunin exams this year. "We should look around the place some, get a feel for the area, maybe even spot some potential opponents... What do you two think of splitting up to look around?" she question her face not lighting up in the slightest as most would certainly be excited about attending such an event.
"Hm... I definately wanna see the bath house, but that's usually more fun with friends... but you probably want to look at stuff that interests you too! soo it's a good idea to split up as long as we meet up later!" Oasis chimed in whimsically before turning about on her heel and almost hopping away.
"I definitely would enjoy some free time with all this costume wearing we've been doing... i'll be nearby if needed" Itoku commented bluntly before turning to head off into the crowd as well. it was odd that he was annoyed with the costume changes since his outfit hardly changed through their journey.
"Well then... I'll go get a look at the town then, the registration was likely already handled by my people, they always stay on top of such things..." Hatsuma commented quietly as she adjusted the large wrapped blade upon her back, the way it was wrapped it could easily be mistaken for a puppet especially given the fact she has a wind country symbol upon her headband. She began to wander taking in the sights and making mental notes of anyone who may seem like trouble during the inevitable combat portion of the exams.
((with ava's permission i've taken a temporary control of Oasis to get her to the exams. ))
